Chapter 12 : The Fresher Party

As Anu and Akanksha entered the hall, Rohan welcomed them. And Rohan looked at Anu lovingly with a bouquet of flowers. Anu smiled and lowered her eyes while taking the flower bouquet. Akanksha coughed a little from the side and said, “Can we come in?”

“Of course, how can I get in the way of a beautiful lady?”, Rohan said to Anu, with a deep infatuation look.

Anu didn’t speak, she blushed and moved forward. Ananksha was behind her. Before leaving, she winked at Rohan, avoiding Anu.

After they left, Rohan took out his phone from his pocket and called someone.

“They are coming. Is everything ready? It’s time to have some fun.”, Rohan said on the call. After a while he hangs up and walks towards the stage.

On the other hand, Tani, Rishita and Sayani entered the hall. Sayani and Rishita were watching the surrounding splendors while Tani was looking for Anu.

Tani notices that Akanksha is in the refreshment area and Rohan and Anu are standing a little away from her. Rohan, holding Anu’s hand and trying to touch her repeatedly, Anu mischievously stops him with a smile. Akanksha is sipping her drink and watching them.

Tani turned to Sayani and Rishita, and saw that they were roaming around in the hall. “The crowd is growing by the minute. And these two are having fun here with the party vibe.”, Tani said to herself.

“You bunch of scumbags, have you forgotten why we came here for?”, Tani said in a heavy voice, standing in front of them.

“Oh, sorry sorry. I thought you were at your position over there. Wh.. Where are they?”, Sayani said.

Rishita looked around and said, “There they are. Don’t you see the smiles on their faces, I feel like going and punching the two bastards in the mouth and knocking their teeth out.”

“Rishita call Akash and tell him that the party is about to start. Be careful. And ask how far his friends have come.”, said Tani.

“Yes, wait.”, answered Rishita and went a little further and called Akash. After a while she came back and said, “Akash is outside, standing at the entrance as planned. And his friends haven’t come yet.”

“Alright, you guys go take positions. Don’t do any mistake. We have to play carefully.”, Tani told them. They nodded.

Everyone stood according to everyone’s position. After few times the party started with the words of the party host. A large music system, noise of DJs filled the hall along with disco lights and a huge amount of drinks.

Tani’s eyes were always on Anu. Rohan’s other friends also join them in between. During the party, the party host announced that there is a mask dance, so everyone whose attending the party must wear the face masks. It was the surprise element of the party. Tani was shocked to hear this message. If this is the case, how will Anu be found in such a crowd?

Tani immediately made a con call to Sayani and Rishita and said, “Don’t take your eyes off them. Look what a big blunder they have made! Sayani be careful. Rishita are you at the back door?”, Tani said.

“Yes I am here. Akash too is in the right place.”, Rishita said.

In the meantime, the dance started. Akanksha gave a mask to Anu and put one on herself. Rohan and his friends also wore masks and they all were dancing together.

Sayani said, “Tani, they are all wearing masks, what should I do now. If I don’t recognize them, then there will be danger.”

Meanwhile, Anu felt thirsty during the dance so she asked Akanksha to give her some drink.

On the other hand Tani said. “Sayani, you better see Anu’s dress and mask, and Akanksha’s too. You will understand if they move here and there.”

“Yes, but one thing is, Akanksha gave Anu the drink a while back.”, Sayani said.

“What drink?”, Tani asked.

“Hey, she given the juice. There’s nothing else here.”, Sayani said.

“Wait, I’m coming.”, saying that Tani was about to move on, someone came from behind and called her, “Hey, you’re not wearing a mask! Take it.”

“No, I won’t, thank you.”, Tani said. But he was constantly bothering her and stopping her from going.

While Tani was busy arguing with that person suddenly Sayani said, “Tani.. Tani.. Anu’s head is spinning, Akanksha and Rohan are taking her somewhere. Where are you, come quickly. I’m going.. Oh shit…, what did you do? Can’t you see?”

“What??? What happened? Wait, have to fix something here. I’m coming.”, asked Tani.

“You dumb, I’m telling you continuously I don’t need any mask. Move on from here.”, Tani said that boy with anger.

After that Sayani replied with an irritated voice, “The waiter bumped into me and spilled all the juice on me. It’s very disgusting yaar.”

“Rishita have they gone to your side?”, asked Tani, while she was moving towards Sayani avoiding the crowd.

“No they didn’t come here.”, Rishita said.

“Call Akash. Say, they are coming out.”, Tani said hurriedly.

“Yes yes.”, Rishita replied.

Meanwhile, Tani came to Sayani and said, “Did you recognize that it was them?”

“Oh yes. I was going towards them and suddenly that waiter bumped into me.” Sayani said.

“Tani, there is a very bad news.”, Rishita said on call.

“Now what?, Tani asked.

“Akash has gone to fetch his friends. And didn’t inform us, How careless he is!”, Rishita said.

“Oh fuck. Rishita where are you? Wait we are coming, stay there.”, said Tani.

Tani and Sayani go to Rishita. Tani said, “They did it on purpose. First of all, the announcement of the mask dance. Then someone was engaging me with a mask, and Sayani on you the waiter spilled the drinks.”

“Yeah, but what shall we do now! Let’s go outside otherwise we won’t figure out where they went!”, Sayani said.

“Yes let’s go.”, said Tani and Rishita. They hurriedly ran outside.

As they walked out of the hall, a four-wheeler drove out in front of their eyes. Tani saw Akanksha’s face from the car window. She took a quick look at the car’s number plate and wrote it down on the phone.

After few minutes seeing Akash, Rishita ran to him. “Where were you, why did you disappear at the right time. And you didn’t just informed us! They took Anu away in a car.”, Rishita said in one breath.

“Relax, see my friends are here. We have a car now.”, Akash said.

Akash went to Tani and said, “Can you remember the color and number of the car?”

“Yes I have the number of the car and the color is black. But they have gone far by now, how can we follow them?”, said Tani.

“Are you sure Anu has her mobile?”, Akash asked.

“Yes of course there will be, but if you call her they will be alerted. And more importantly Anu has fainted.”, said Tani in a worried tone.

“Calm down. You come first get in the car, I am telling you everything. Sayani, Rishu baby come quickly get in the car. Rishabh start the car.”, Akash said. They all got into the car. And the car started moving.
