Chapter 11

I drew him nearer to me and brought my face closer to his. He seemed taken aback by my actions, and we gazed at each other for a moment. I flashed a seductive smile at him and moved my lips closer to his. However, I found myself drawn to him as I observed his red lips and caught a whiff of his breath.

"Why not just agree to be my Luna so you can freely kiss me, Amelia?" he inquired with a grin.

His words made me swallow hard, and I felt a pang of embarrassment for some reason. I needed to challenge this man. I had to reinforce my emotions to control him.

"Are you implying that I'm the one yearning to kiss you? Well, I'm simply indulging you, Alpha. I know you desire my lips, Alpha," I retorted with a smile.

"I have never desired every inch of your body, Amelia," he asserted.

His statement irked me, and I turned my face away from him. I walked off and requested him to exit the room. His words lingered in my mind. How could he claim he didn't desire my lips when it was evident he wanted to kiss me too?

As we exited the room, we encountered Alice and the female wolves in the hallway. They greeted us warmly, and we reciprocated the gesture.

"Would you like to accompany me to the tower?" he inquired with a smile.

"Sure. I have nothing else to do," I replied.

We strolled towards the Tower. Upon reaching the top, we peered down. The tower stood so tall that one could see the vastness of the forest in the distance. Both of us gazed upwards, and I heard him take a deep breath.

"This tower is quite high," I remarked.

"As high as I regard you, Amelia," he responded with a smile.

"Hmm, you didn't mention you're cheesy, Alpha Damien," I teased.

Once again, I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I tried to suppress the feeling as I didn't want to entertain it. I needed to resist this foolish emotion.

He expressed his longing for the day when he could call me his Luna, with a smile on his face as he gazed into the distance.

"What if you can't wait for me?" I inquired.

"I will wait for you as long as I live, Amelia," he responded with a smile.

It was heartwarming to hear his words. However, the memory of his actions that led to the death of my parents still fills me with anger and a desire for revenge. I quickly changed the subject of our conversation.

"The air here is so fresh and invigorating," I remarked with a smile.

"Yes, that's why I enjoy being here," he replied with a smile.

"Perhaps we should take a stroll in the forest," I suggested.

"Beyond the Wound Woods?" he questioned.

"Is there a forest within the Wound Woods?" I teased, laughing.

"Apologies, just a jest," he said with a smile.

"Your humor is quite amusing, Alpha. Not bad," I complimented him with a smile.

He smiled back at me sweetly, his smiles capable of awakening dormant emotions. Any woman would be melted by his charming smile, except for me.

As we exited the Wound Woods, we made our way towards the forest. The area was serene but appeared perilous to an ordinary person due to the presence of various creatures.

During our walk in the forest, we stumbled upon a stunning waterfall near the mountain. The sound of flowing water was soothing, and the place was illuminated. We sat on a large tree, observing the water cascading down the stream.

"I feel like I've seen this place before. This might be the most beautiful spot in this vast forest," I remarked with a smile.

"But you are even more beautiful in my eyes," he replied with a smile.

"This demon certainly knows how to flatter with sweet words. But no matter what you say, you won't win me over with words," I thought to myself.

Despite my thoughts, I stood up and suggested we return to the castle, to which he agreed.

We made our way back to the Wound woods, cautious of our surroundings. As we walked, the sound of footsteps and rustling reached our ears. Alpha tightly held my hand, and I braced myself for a potential attack.

"Vampires!" he declared with conviction.

Suddenly, eight vampires materialized, encircling us. I was certain they were associates of the two women I had slain in our previous encounter. My intuition proved correct as they wasted no time in launching an assault.

Thankfully, Alpha Damien swiftly reacted, displaying both speed and strength. The two vampires who lunged at us were caught off guard. Alpha swiftly transformed, emitting a powerful roar amidst the vampires surrounding us. Gathering my courage, I engaged in combat with the vampire woman. Though she possessed great strength, I reassured myself that I could overcome her. With a forceful attack, I clawed at her back, causing her to wince in pain.

Out of the corner of my eye, I witnessed Alpha Damien effortlessly decapitating five vampires. Together, we managed to eliminate six vampires, while two fled in fear upon witnessing their headless comrade.

Fortunately, the wound I sustained was merely a minor scratch. However, my eyes widened as Alpha Dior approached me, his naked form on display.

"Are you alright, Amelia?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.

"I... I'm fine," I stuttered in response.

"This forest is no longer safe for us. It harbors numerous enemies, not just vampires but also Rogues. We must remain vigilant, as we never know when we may encounter them. Promise me you won't venture here alone, Amelia," he reminded me.

I simply nodded in agreement, noticing his smile in response to my avoidance of his gaze. Sensing my discomfort, he transformed back into a wolf. I climbed onto his back, and together we made our way back to the Castle.

Upon reaching the castle's entrance, the guards opened the doors and respectfully bowed before us.

Once inside, I dismounted and Alpha transformed back into his human form. The women present were taken aback by his nakedness. Feeling irritated, I bid him farewell. I couldn't deny that his physique was strikingly beautiful, captivating the attention of any woman except for me.

I'm going to take a break, Alpha. Thank you very much," I expressed while handing him the Scarf from my clothes to cover his naked body. He seemed surprised and smiled at the gesture. I don't know why I did it, but I didn't want anyone else to see his attractive and muscular physique.

"These women are shameless!" I muttered to myself in annoyance, raising my eyebrows before bidding farewell and heading to my room.

Upon entering my room, I laid down on my bed. Perhaps due to exhaustion, I drifted off to sleep without realizing it. I was startled to find Alpha Dior's smiling face in front of me as he leaned in for a kiss.
