Chapter 124 Super Cool

Jagger frowned a bit and casually stepped to the side, dodging the woman's gaze.

Noticing this, the woman gave a playful smile and sauntered into the bar without a word.

"Jagger, she's gorgeous," Isabella blurted out, watching the woman walk away.

"Quit staring," Jagger said flatly, with a hint of warning in his voice.

Isabella shrugged and zipped her lips.

Jagger's gaze softened a bit as he looked at Isabella. "The bar's packed and wild. Don't wander off. Call me when you're done, and I'll come get you."

"Got it, Jagger," Isabella nodded, and Jagger turned to leave.

"Wow, your brother is so hot!" Jasmine said, eyeing Jagger as he walked away.

"Seriously? I introduced you to him before, and you weren't interested!" Isabella laughed, poking Jasmine's forehead. "Come on, let's head inside!"

Jasmine dragged Isabella into the bar, where colorful lights, blaring music, and the smell of booze and cigarettes filled the air, making Isabella frown a bit.

"Come on, Isabella, let's go over there!" Jasmine pulled Isabella to the bar and ordered two juices.

"Not drinking?" Isabella asked, curious.

"Did you forget? I can't handle my liquor. One drink and I'm out. Last time I got drunk, I puked all over you!" Jasmine said with a helpless smile.

Remembering Jasmine's embarrassing drunken episode, Isabella couldn't help but laugh.

As they chatted, the stage lights dimmed, and the crowd erupted in cheers.

Jasmine excitedly grabbed Isabella's hand. "They're here! Echo Band is coming on!"

Isabella looked up at the stage and saw a few young guys in punk outfits walk up. The guy in front had a guitar, his bright red hair standing out under the lights.

The music started, and the strong beat instantly fired up the bar's atmosphere.

Even though Isabella wasn't into rock, she couldn't help but get caught up in the live vibe, gently swaying to the music. Jasmine was even more pumped, singing along and waving her arms like crazy.

Seeing Jasmine so happy, Isabella couldn't help but smile.

Just then, the stage lights shifted, and the guitarist stepped back as a tall woman with a bass moved to the front.

The spotlight hit her, revealing a face that was a perfect mix of charisma and allure. She plucked the strings, and the deep bass sound added a touch of sensuality to the wild music. Isabella's heart skipped a beat as she looked at the woman on stage. She felt like she'd seen her somewhere before, but couldn't place it.

"Isabella, how is it? Isn't it super exciting?" Jasmine shouted, grabbing Isabella's hand.

Jasmine's voice snapped Isabella back to reality. She shook her head, trying to shake off the confusion, and smiled at Jasmine. "It's awesome!"

When the song ended, the bar erupted in applause. Isabella looked at the woman on stage, her eyes filled with mixed emotions.

"Come on, let's grab something to eat and wait for Jagger to pick us up," Isabella said, pulling Jasmine, who was still lost in the music.

They left the bar and found a nearby restaurant to sit down and ordered some food.

Isabella rested her chin on her hand, watching people pass by outside, but her mind kept replaying the image of the woman on stage.

"What’s on your mind?" Jasmine asked, sipping her soup.

"Nothing, I just thought that bassist was really cool!" Isabella snapped back to reality and smiled.

"Right? She was super cool! Too bad we didn't get a chance to ask for an autograph," Jasmine said, looking a bit bummed.

Just then, a few punks with colorful hair swaggered in, their eyes leering at Isabella and Jasmine.

"Hey, pretty ladies, mind if I join you for a drink?" One of the punks with yellow hair leered at Jasmine, reaching out to touch her face.

"Get lost!" Jasmine dodged his hand in disgust and snapped.

"Feisty! I like that!" The yellow-haired punk didn't back off; instead, he got bolder and reached for Jasmine's wrist.

"If you touch her again, I'll call the cops!" Isabella stood up quickly, shielding Jasmine as she took out her phone, pretending to call the police.

"Call the cops? Go ahead! Do you even know where you are? You think they'll care?" The yellow-haired punk slapped Isabella's phone out of her hand and laughed arrogantly.

"Yeah, just have some fun with us, and we'll make sure you enjoy it," another punk with green hair said, reaching for Isabella's waist.

Just then, a slender, strong hand grabbed the green-haired punk's wrist and twisted it hard, making him scream in pain.

"Who the hell are you? Mind your own business!" The yellow-haired punk roared, turning around, ready to hit the person behind him.

But before he could see who it was, he was kicked to the ground, groaning in pain.

"Get out of here!" A cold voice commanded.

The punks looked up and saw a tall woman standing in front of them. It was the woman who had been playing bass on stage!

She glanced at them coldly, her eyes sharp as knives, scaring the punks so much that they scrambled out of the restaurant.

The woman ignored the fleeing punks and turned to Isabella and Jasmine, her tone softening a bit. "Are you okay?"

"We're fine, thank you!" Isabella said gratefully.

"Thank you," Jasmine echoed, snapping back to reality.

The woman looked at Isabella and Jasmine, a slight smile curving her lips. "That's good. I was just passing by after work. Be careful next time; this area isn't safe. If I hadn't been here, you might have been in trouble."

With that, the woman turned and left the restaurant, leaving Isabella and Jasmine with a cool, confident back.

"Wow, Isabella, she's so cool! She's my idol!" Jasmine said, looking at the woman's figure with admiration.

Isabella nodded in agreement.

Just then, a black SUV pulled up in front of the restaurant. The door opened, and a tall man in a black trench coat stepped out. The man had a chiseled face, sharp eyebrows, deep-set eyes, a high nose bridge, and exuded a cold, unapproachable aura.

It was Jagger. He walked straight to Isabella and Jasmine, glanced at them, and asked coldly, "Are you okay?"

"Jagger!" Isabella called out in surprise when she saw him, then quickly ran over to grab his arm and whined, "Jagger, why did you take so long? I was so scared!"

Jagger affectionately ruffled Isabella's hair, his tone softening a bit. "There was traffic. Sorry for being late."
