Chapter 36
Aleksander‘s POV
When Elisabeth enters the hotel, we didn't hear anything from her for almost fifteen minutes and I was so restless. I tried talking to her but I couldn't get through. Immediately I regretted letting her talk me into following us.
"Just be calm, I'm sure she's fine" Nicholas had told me but then I didn't care about anything he had to say. My concern is for my mate. She's not someone who is into this, how then was I so stupid to allow her to talk me into this? I wouldn't stop talking to Ava and threatening her about if anything happened to Elisabeth.
"Elisabeth is smart, if she was really in trouble she would have found a way to tell us to stop fidgeting man," Nicholas said again.
I didn't say anything. I just glared at him. I was almost forfeiting this whole plan to barge into the hotel when Ava's voice came through.
"Alek, Lisa said she's with Chris and she already knocked him out!" She rushed out.
Shock registered on both Nicholas's and my face. It was really a big thing to be able to knock out an Alpha blood like Chris. Let's not even forget the fact that he is a trained warrior. I didn't want to think about anything now, so I rushed inside as planned.
When we got there, after knocking about every one of Chris's bodyguards, we saw that he was indeed knocked out. Chris was lying on the floor like a log of wood. I was ready to ask her how she did that.
Nicholas carried Chris so we head back to the door but then one of Chris's men came after us. Soon the rest of his bodyguards were alerted after the alarm went off. So a fight broke out. I'm an Alpha wolf, without me changing into my wolf form, I can take them all down but then the door was stuck.
I was waiting for any of them to shift into their wolf form and fight but they didn't. That means they didn't recognize that I'm the Alpha King, if not they would have shifted to fight me or at most run away.
"I will cover for you. We can't open the door" Elisabeth told me in a loud voice.
Chris wasn't a fool, he brought a lot of rogue with him as a bodyguard, and anytime soon, he would wake up and that would make it difficult for us to leave. I wasn't thinking about myself, I was thinking about Elisabeth. I can't let her get hurt.
"No Elisabeth......" I started to say but I was her fighting already.
I was shocked at how her fighting skill was. She was fighting like some experts. I knew I could leave her for a few minutes. I ran to Nicholas who was still trying to open the door that was locked.
"Ava, Victoria, you should get the hell into the hotel now!" I ordered.
I needed their help. I used all my strength to push the door but then the door was way too strong. This got me alert. How can a small hotel have this kind of door? There must be something fishy here. This hotel must be made for criminals.
When I was even with my strength, then melted the keyhole with my Alpha eyes, then the door gave way. Nicholas was so happy so he carried Chris out but then Chris woke up.
"Shit!" I swore.
I can't go back to save Elisabeth right now. Nicholas is not a match for Chris. He will hurt him badly. I just hoped that Ava and Victoria had already arrived there to help Elisabeth.
I could see the shock in Chris's eyes when he saw Nicholas and me and where he was. He stood up hurriedly and looked at his half-naked self. Then a bitter smile crawled to his lips.
"I saw that you and your brother came visiting," he said with a thick disdainful voice.
I wondered how he could even mock me at this time. He had been running from me for years now and finally, I caught him. Is that something to laugh about?
"Chris, you don't have a chance here," Nicholas said.
I don't have time to bicker with the idiot. I know he was trying to buy himself time to mind-link all his rogues so that they would come to his aid.
Chris was once a friend, who decided to turn to an enemy because of jealousy, so I know him very well. I wasn't going to give him a chance because I don't want to hurt the innocent.
I attacked him and Nicholas followed me. All I wanted to do is to knock him out again but he was not going to make that easy.
So we got into a fight and as I was trying to knock him out, he shifted into his wolf form. I could see that his wolf has gotten bigger. He wasn't under my control anymore since he became a rogue so I can't order him to submit to my authority. Nicholas too shifted but then I didn't want to shift. I want to show him that he's not a match for me even without me shifting.
We were still fighting when I saw Ava and Victoria run to where we were. I felt relieved. They must have escaped the rogues out there. After a while, I was able to hit the right spot and he fell to the ground like a log of wood. Nicholas and I looked at each other and sighed.
"Finally," Victoria said.
I then looked at where they were, I almost fainted when I realized that Elisabeth wasn't among them.
"Where the heck is Elisabeth!" I practically roared because my voice echoed through the air.
Ava looked behind her as if she wasn't aware of Elisabeth not being there, and so did Victoria.
"I will kill you two if anything happens to her!" I shouted at them so annoyed.
I was so scared because I knew that Chris would have summoned more of his rogues and only Elisabeth can't survive amidst them. I rushed back inside while Ava followed me. I could hear Victoria talk.
"I know that that girl will definitely be a problem" she grumbled but I heard.
I don't have her time now, I will deal with her later. I rushed towards the door and realized that it was already locked. This was surprising because I already destroyed the keyhole. Somebody must have locked it. Maybe one of the rogues but then how Ava and Victoria escaped and Elisabeth didn't.
I used my Alpha eyes to melt the iron again. It took me time this time because I didn't know the exact spot it was locked. I was so restless and very angry. Finally, the door came through a dn I rushed inside.
I saw Elisabeth still fighting like a mad woman but then she was already injured. There was no way she would be able to fight so many men on her own. Well, I was surprised that she was still standing because as she doesn't have experience, she should have actually been dead by now. I ran there and fought with those rogues. I made sure that they saw my Alpha King's eyes. I shifted half way.
I was standing but my hands and part of my head were already turned into a wolf. I was the only one who could do this. I'm the Alpha King. They saw me, they moved back and Ava was able to carry Elisabeth away.
"It's the Alpha King. Retreat!" One that looked like their leader shouted when I wanted to start fighting them.
They know that I could destroy them in a minute. So they escaped. I didn't even wait for them to leave before I changed back to my normal self and ran away to go meet the rest. When I got there, Ava was trying to give Elisabeth first aid.
"We need to hurry. She's bleeding too much!" I heard her shout.
It was as if someone hit an iron on my head. This is what is happening. Elisabeth got injured. I rushed there to see that no Ava had already removed her jacket to cover the side of her stomach that was bleeding but then Elisabeth's blood was still flowing out.
I also ran mad. I took Elisabeth from Ava and looked at Elisabeth. I needed to do something to stop her bleeding, if not she would not be able to make it back to the hospital. There was an old trick I learned as an Alpha on how to suppress bleeding.
I brought out my Alpha eyes and reflected them on my palm. That was fucking painful and hot but I had to do this for her.
"Baby, this is gonna hurt," I said to her with heaviness in my heart.
I didn't want to hurt this woman a bit. Seeing her hurt is almost driving me nuts but I don't have a choice here.
Looking at my hand which was already as hot as an iron placed in the fire for so long, I pressed it on her very wound. Elisabeth screamed out and my heart ached.
Removing my hand, I saw her bleeding reduced. It only remains just a little sipping out like a leaking bottle. But then, we need to get out of here before what I did wears out and her bleeding starts to rush again.
The most annoying part is that there is only a boat here and I can't drive like the madman that I would have driven.
I lifted her up and ran towards the boat. The rest also followed me. No one even dares to say a word because they know if they do, they will have to face my wrath fiercely.
It was only Ava, Victoria, Elisabeth, and I that was in the boat, including the boat driver.
"I need the utmost speed!" I said to the one driving in a harsh way.
I kept looking at Elisabeth. She was looking at me and trying to pacify me.
"I'm fine, Ander," she said to me weakly.
I knew she was trying to suppress the pain and tried to look like she wasn't hurt but then there was no way she could do that. She was already as pale as a white sheet of paper. Damn! My heart was hurting so bad.
This was the very first time she would call my name and even with a nick. Her voice sounded so beautiful in my ears but the pain was slitting through me. Her first time wasn't supposed to be on a deathbed.
"You know I can't lose you, Lisa. You won't dare to die on me" I said with so much uneasiness in my eyes.
Her blood was all over me and she was already closing her eyes. I shook her badly and she opened her eyes.
"I'm not dying, Ander," she said, smiling at me.
She raised her hand slowly, touching my cheek.
"You worry too much. I only want to sleep" she said.
Her breath wasn't even normal anymore. My fear grew. She can't close her eyes at this moment.
"No, don't sleep Lisa. You have to stay with me" I shouted at her.
Then I looked at the boat driver and shouted.
"You better drive fast before I snap your neck!" My voice echoed through the waters.
He was scared and he sped up.
"Alek, he is fast enough and I'm sure you won't want us to end up as food for the fish," Victoria said to me.
I know how scared she is of water but that doesn't concern me. My paramount care is my woman. I looked at her and glared so hard that she adjusted herself.
