Chapter 35
Elisabeth’s POV
I was so excited about helping out in this mission I know nothing about. Well, all I know is that Chris is a bad guy.
I had always thought that the skills Adrian had thought me would be a waste after he had sent me to be a slave for the Alpha King but then I it became useful today.
I didn't tell Aleksander that I've once gone to capture a criminal with Adrian or that I'm a fully trained Luna to be. All these don't matter.
Well, I was still grateful to Adrian. If he had not sent me here, I wouldn't have found my mate. After all, Adrian isn't my mate and I had once rejected my mate just for his sake. I didn't regret any of the past because I was able to meet Aleksander. Although he hasn't accepted our mating bond, I don't regret giving my body to him.
I was nicely dressed up by Ava. Aleksander complained that my dressing was too much and it was as if I'm a call girl. Ava argued with him that it is a perfect look. I was quite impressed with myself, looking at myself in the mirror.
I was putting on a short leather skirt with black tights beneath. Also had a black blouse and a jacket. I was looking so much like a bad girl in movies.
"Don't smile at that look. You are showing off too much" Aleksander complained.
I widened my smile.
"But I'm beautiful," I said, checking myself out again.
Aleksander rolled his eyes and I smiled alongside Ava. I know that Victoria would have murdered me a thousand and one times in her heart but I do not care.
"Yes you are my lady," Nicholas said, stretching out his hands to me.
Surprisingly, Aleksander hit the hand away and looked at me with a childish frown.
"Move!" He ordered.
I intentionally swayed my hips while walking. The clothes I was putting on showed my cleavages well. While in the car, Aleksander kept grumbling that he shouldn't have allowed me to join them if he had known that this was the way I was going to dress. All I did was give him a mocking smile.
We split when we got to a place. A car was already waiting for Ava, Victoria, and me. When we got to the hotel, I got down and walked in so confidently.
"Why are you so late?" Someone asked me immediately and I stepped towards the reception.
I was confused at first but then I needed to use it to my advantage. This wasn't part of the plan and I don't know if Aleksander would get angry. I was still thinking of what to do when the person took my hand and started to drag me towards the rooms.
"I don't know why you females don't keep to time. He's about to have my head" the one dragging me grumbled.
I didn't say anything, I just followed him. I was noting everything I was seeing on my way. I kept on seeing bodyguards. When we got to the room, I discovered that they might be taking me to the Chris man himself. I don't know him but then he is sure the one that would definitely be guarded by bodyguards.
The man knocked at the door and a thick annoyed voice came.
"Come in."
We then entered. The room was filled with smoke that I almost coughed but I stopped myself. I then saw a large guy seated on the bed with his upper body naked. He is not as I expected. He is quite a handsome man but not to be compared with my Aleksander.
I had thought that he was going to be an old man but the one I saw was quite young and gripped me. With the look of things, he is either an Alpha or a Beta because he looks quite strong.
I couldn't smell his rank because nowadays, people mask their ranks so as not to be recognized. Well, that's not my reason for being her.
"Sir, here is the girl," the one who dragged me said.
I wondered why he didn't speak for a while. The one that was spoken to stood up and started to come towards me. I was scared because I know that possessive men always love weak women. He gave the cigarette he was smoking to the one beside him. He gave him an eye scrutiny before he spoke.
"I was so angry because of your lateness looking at you girl, I see that the wait is worth it," he said as he touched my jaw.
Just now that I arrived the man was already having a lustful look. Is that how enticing I was?
"I'm sorry......"
I was interrupted by the man who brought me.
"You don't talk until he signals to you," he said to me.
Chris looked at him in anger.
"Get out!" He growled at him.
What a cantankerous man he is. When everyone was out? He pulled me closer to himself, sniffing my smell.
"You are smelling delicious. I just hope you will taste so delicious" he said, still sniffing me.
I was irritated by what he was doing to me but then I was thinking of how to escape him. The man is too large and fierce. Just by looking, I knew I would never be a match for such a man but then I'm at an advantage.
"I'm here to please you," I said between gritted teeth.
He tried to kiss me but I stylishly avoided him by placing a kiss on his chest and I could see that he was already ready to eat me.
Then I remembered Aiden's teaching. He had told me that to knock an Alpha or Beta out, is just for me to hit the bone behind them twice and they would be down for minutes. I let Chris kiss my neck while I summoned all my strength to do what I plan to do.
He was way taller than I am, so what I did first was to hit his lower body and he groaned in pain.
"What are you doing?" He said with a pain-coated face.
Before he could heal, I hit him hard twice on the very spot Aiden had told me but then Chris didn't get mocked out totally. I only felt dizzy. I need to act fast before I die here. I then jumped up and gave him a Chinese kick on that same back and that did it. He fell to the ground like a log of wood.
Immediately I turned on my earphones. I know the rest must have been waiting for me.
"Hello," I said in a hurry.
"Lisa, thank goodness! Alek has almost murdered me. What is going on with you?" Ava asked in a hurry.
" I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I have Chris here with me. I already knocked him out. I didn't know when he would wake up. Please tell the Alpha King that he should come quickly" I rushed out as I watched the huge body of Chris lie so lifelessly on the floor.
"What! You have Chris?" Ava was shocked.
" Yes and please come fast. I don't want him to wake up" I said.
Ava's line went off and I was waiting patiently for Alek to contact me. I would have contacted Aleksander straight but I was afraid of getting scolded by him.
"Elisabeth!" Aleksander's voice came.
He sounded so restless.
"There are three bodies each at every door and they are quite fierce. There is an alarm at the back door to enter the suite where Chris is. You have to be careful not to send it off" I said.
I didn't want him to scold me.
"What number is his room?" He asked.
"109" I replied.
Then there was silence, I knew that he was coming already. I wasn't so relaxed because I knew I wasn't the girl that was supposed to attend to Chris. She might suddenly appear. I just wish that we would have been gone before they noticed that I impersonated someone.
Soon I started to hear bones cracking and I knew that they were on their way. I stood up and stood beside Chris. I'm sure this is the man. I didn't make a mistake.
The door opened and Aleksander alongside Nicholas came in. They looked at the man on the floor. Soon Nicholas carried Chris on his shoulder. That was a shock to me. I didn't know Nicholas had such strength.
We were already on our way when the man who brought me in came running with a lady beside him. Men were also behind him. We were caught.
"Go, I will cover for you," I shouted at them.
" Are you kidding me?" Aleksander said.
I hope I didn't insult him. Nicholas was running to the exit door.
"Elisabeth go!" Aleksander said.
I didn't want to leave him but I also didn't want to be a burden, so I complied. But then we got to the door and realized that it was already shut and we couldn't go out. Immediately the alarm went off and more people came running towards us and Aleksander was fighting them all.
We tried to open the door but we couldn't. I ran to Aleksander.
"I will cover for you. We can't open the door" I shouted to him.
Aleksander's face wasn't good but then he nodded. He knew we would be at a disadvantage. He watched as I was hitting the men before he ran to go help, Nicholas.
