96. Peaches & Cream

In the late hours of the night, Rani looked around her and saw no one was following her.

She sighed out of relief and then went towards the locked night park near her house. She was too upset with Hector and she didn't want to talk to him or be see him. She decided not to think about him and easily climbed over the picket fence of the park walls.

The only thing that could relax her was her powers.

She headed deep inside the dimly litted park and found a nice patch by a willow tree. She crouched down to her haunches and spread her palms through the cool night grass. She soon popped out some purple flowers and began to smile. Suddenly she heard a twig snap behind her. A dangerous presence approached and Rani took no time grabbing a nearby log. She quickly turned on her heel and

//WACK//

"Ow! Rani it's only me?" Hector said as she hit him up on his toned muscular arm.

"Jeeez, you scared me!" Rani dropped her log and folded her hands over her chest angrily.

"Baby, I'm sorry I scared you, want to kiss and make up?" He grinned pulling his hands out.

Rani scoffed. She was in no mood for making up with him. She took his hands and placed them back down at the side of him.

"Did you follow me?"

"I was keeping my distance?"

"Hector please just go away?"

He started walking closer to her, and Rani was feeling quite 'sensitive' around him since she invoked her powers. Plus the fact with his close proximity he stirred up things inside of her body, she didn't want to feel right now.

"I can't not when you're so angry with me?" He dropped to his knees and grabbed her by her hips and hugged her, surprising her.

"Hector stop, don't touch me!" She pushed him away, and then ran away from him, after her sudden mark tingled and so did something else in her body. Heat flushed at her as he hugged her whilst on the ground on his knees. No, she had to get away from him.

Hector smirked, sensing her sudden arousal. He easily gave chase and blocked her path making her immediately stop in her tracks.

"Babe, don't run from me. I promise I'll behave? So let's just please talk hmm?" He said keeping Achilles calm inside of him.

"Fine, just come over here then?" She took his hand and Hector smiled letting her lead her. Rani then pushed him up against the tree and then slowly moved away from him, controlling her own lusty desires for him.

"Stay right there, and don't you dare move."

"What are you doing?" He asked suspiciously as he saw her raising her hands from the side.

Suddenly vine roots thrust out from the ground and coiled him up quickly. Rani smirked proud of her skills.

"I'm binding you."

Hector rolled his eyes.

"As kinky as this is for me, It's not funny. Rani unbinds me."

"No."

"Let me tell you what I wanna do?"

Rani shook her head at that.

"No thanks."

"Let me show you that I'm feelin' you?"

"Nope."

"Wanna sex, wanna ride with you?"

"Huh?" Shock displayed upon her sudden angry features as he carried on.

"Wanna taste wanna put my lips all over you?"

"Not tonight!"

"Can't get enough of you. Always thinking of you. So sweet, I can't forget it. So good, girl you make me sweat."

"Hey, what the hell are you talking about?!"

"Girl know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Peaches and cream."

"Wait, are you quoting 112 Peaches & Cream song?!"

"It's even better when it's with ice cream. Know what I mean? Peaches and cream." Hector winked.

"You've seriously lost it!"

"Peaches and Cream aside baby I know you're upset so please unbind me?"

She knew him too well. The minute she'd drop her defence he'd grab or catch her. Something, she really didn't want when she was very, very sensitive around him now.

Hector then let out a sudden Alpha growl lightly tremoring the ground below her. Rani's heart pounded in her chest for a while when he flashed his eyes silver at her. She had upset him and made him angry. But Rani wasn't afraid of him. She stepped closer and then smacked her palm upon his mouth surprising him.

"Don't you dare try and put your Alpha Growl at me Mr!" She warned angrily and he ceased his growl at once, due to her close proximity.

Rani sighed and let go.

"What is wrong with you? I tell you I want to be alone! That I don't want to talk to you but you're so persistent that it drives me crazy! Now look at what you made me do?"

Hector cracked a grin.

"I'm pretty sure you enjoy binding me up like this. I recalled you did so not too long ago?"

"Hey! That was different and so is this!"

"What is this then?"

"I've bonded you up because I'm upset with you. How could you?"

"How could I what?"

"You bit that boy!"

"He asked for it."

"No he didn't! He changed his mind and yet you still went all Alpha on him and bit him!"

"Rani, as wrong as it looked the boy had already signed the contract and I was making sure he sealed the deal."

Rani scoffed.

"Sealed the deal? What if others ran and wanted to back out?"

Hector scoffed.

"Sweetheart. There is no backing out once you sign up with the Blood Moon Pack. Those people came to us remember? They came to us because half of them wanted the gift, the other half did it out of desperation, and I wasn't going to let the kid walk free not when he took our training money."

Rani shook her head.

"Be as it may Hector, what would happen if he died?"

"I'd have no regrets," Hector spoke with no remorse in his tone.

"What?!"

"Rani we know our bite can be lethal on humans that's why we always come prepared to compensate the families of their loss if they fail to survive. Besides the candidates that come to us on their own free will know this. They have agreed to this so long as they get that recruitment money at the end." He spoke in his suave business-like tone.

"So money is the answer, is it? You don't care if they survive the bite or not do you?" She asked sharply since she knew Damon wouldn't care about who died, so long as he had enough recruits to keep his pack numbers in line.

"That kid was lucky to have been bitten by me Rani. I've bitten hundreds of people and they've always survived. Just like this one." He rests assured.

Rani sighed and shook her head. She was still not happy about him biting people and turning them into wolves when they didn't want to at the end. His actions were still unjustified if he set the money factor aside.

"Now please will you unbind me?"

"No."

Rani was still pissed of at him for other reasons.

"Excuse me?" Hector was getting secretly annoyed with her for binding him and keeping him restrained from her. If he wasn't restrained he'd easily be able to seduce her and make her forgive him with all the lovemaking he'd planned for her, but now he was caught in her trap.

"I'll set you free and forgive you under one condition."

"What's that?" Perhaps there was still hope he wondered looking at her whilst she paced back and fourth.

"Let Ren be with her mate."

Hector let out a heavy sigh, and shook his head.

That punk who was from a different pack?

"No deal."

"Why?"

"She's a vault guard that keeps our treasures locked. Ren is the best vault keeper we have on our pack and her having a mate outside of out pack can be dangerous for her."

"What?"

"We've had many vault keepers in the past, and they unfortunately got too greedy and decided to steal from us. They betrayed the pack by running of with their mates and making of with the money and precious jewels that we guard with our life due to the other complications."

"Carlos?"

"That traitor was the one that created the vault for our pack, he was our main beta but all that fizzled out when he betrayed us."

"Why did my uncle and his friend steal the diamonds? Why does Carlos need those diamonds?"

"That information is classified. I can't tell you."

"Why not?"

"It's dangerous," Hector warned flashing her eyes at her.

Rani sighed.

"Fine then end of relationship."

{A} Baby no!!!

{H} Relax Achilles, she's our mate and she won't be able to fight the bond.

"Excuse me?"

"You can't let Ren be with her mate, you bite people when they say NO and you won't tell me why the diamonds are so important? Well, I've had enough with you and your werewolf mafiosi brother and I don't want any more trouble with you anymore!"

Hector was stunned and easily broke off her binds like breaking crunchy autumn leaves.

"You don't want trouble from me?! After what I've done to protect you?!"

"Don't you start, I've saved your @ss twice with my healing abilities! You should have just left me inside the precinct cell, when I handed the diamonds back to you!"

Rani turned on her heel to escape him but Hector was quick to grab her elbow and turned her around. He pushed her up against the tree and Rani went to shove him away from her, but he easily grabbed her hands and planted them up above her head firmly.

{A} Baby, I never chased you because of the diamonds! That was all Damon!

"You think I'd ever let Carlos have you?"

{H} Our mate?!

Hector said flashing his eyes deeply at her angrily, whilst he let out a low mean growl.

Rani's heart thrummed in her chest, as he scented her deeply by the crook of her neck. But this time Rani controlled her blush, she controlled her nervous hammering heart. She glared up at him in silence and shook her head, and tried to squirm out of his hold. But Hector wouldn't let her.

"Let go of me, or I'll hurt you!" Rani warned.

Hector looked her dead in the eye after hearing her heart skip stones.

"Then hurt me." He said placing his lucious hot lips upon her neckline.

She took in a sharp breath as he licked her upon her special sweet spot making her ache for him.

"Hector no, don't do this!" She cried in protest.

"Don't do what?" He nipped at her marked making her bite her lower lip. He was good at stimulating her, but Rani was too pissed to make out or even make up with him. He couldn't do this to her!

"Stop!" She said with a clear warning, making Hector sigh and looked back towards her, with his eyes dancing with domination for her.

Unfortunately, he was the one who was whipped. He then leaned his head close towards her beautiful face and decided to end her hostility towards him with a passionate kiss.

"I want to break up with you." She spoke making him freeze just inches away from her lips.

{A} Break up with us?!

{H} Fine!

{A} Hector what the f^ck?! She's our mate!

{H} Let's give her what she wants!

Hector growled pulling away from her slowly, whilst taking in her sweet exotic calming scent once more.

"You don't want to be with me anymore?"

Rani looked away and shook her head.

Her heart ached, but she knew she had to break up with him. He was too dominant, too powerful and she hated the fact that he never change his ways due to the pack rules.

"You're nothing but trouble, you and your brother. I don't want you guys in my life anymore. Just go!"

{A} Hector don't listen to her, she doesn't mean that! Just hug her!

{H} She's not in the mood for that, can't you see she's fighting the bond?

{A} That's going to hurt us both!

{H} Then let it!

{A} Are you crazy?! She's the love of our life! Our mate! Our strength! Our hope!

"Fine Rani. If that's what you want?"

"That's what I want, Hector." Rani said with a tear slipping from her eye.

{A} No!!!

"You'll never see me again."

"Good!" She shoved him away angrily and Hector was shocked.

She was rejecting him?!

Her mark went from a tingling sensation to a sudden burning one.

He backed away from her and then flashed his eyes silver letting out a hurt yet vicious angry growl that made the whole ground tremble. Rani gasped out of fright and fell down with his mighty angry growl on her. She'd no doubt pissed him off.

"Don't come crying to me when you're in trouble Rani, because I won't come. Me and you are over!" He yelled then she saw turn on his heel, leap high in the air, and soon he phased into his true wolf Achilles dashing away from her.

Rani was left stunned, shocked, heartbroken and speechless.

A dark cloud came over her and she soon let out the tears she'd been holding back on, as she watched him leave.
