UNDERGOING THROUGH HER SYSTEM

Ella was infuriated to the core. Hey, the frame was shivering. Her brain was vibrating. Her entire system was shaking not because of fear but because of extreme anger. Who gave these bastards the audacity to try to implicate her like this? She returns her focus to her dad in anger.

"Dad. You know me so much. Just look at me in the eyes and think this through. I don't know what they are talking about. I don't know what they are saying. You have to believe me. This entire thing right here is just confusing me. Although the incident is quite familiar. I mistakenly caught them in their room with the little girl yesterday when I wanted to drop off their fruit salad. I had no idea how she got in there I didn't even know they were doing anything. I caught them and immediately ran away when they shouted at me to leave the room....."

" And why didn't you say anything? " Her mom's deep voice filled with anger caught her attention as she turned back around to look at her.

Ella trembled. "I was scared. I was scared by the way they attacked me. I didn't want them to come back at me later or something. I didn't even put any thought into it. I didn't think about it."

" Liar. She is such a big great pathetic liar. She was in on it."

"Don't believe her dad. She's a very bad liar."

"You are the liar. "

"Shut your mouth. Shut it up all of you, will you? " Their dad immediately shut all of them and they got quiet as the heated tension filled up the entire room making all the Anderson siblings remain calm with their heartbeats pounding hard while they got ready to listen to their faith.

Ella could not quite describe the emotions she was feeling right now. She just felt the powerful urge to smash something. Anger is an understatement compared to what was going on through our system. These silly good-for-nothing step-brothers of hers are going to pay for this mess. They are going to pay for this. Who the hell did they think they were to try to get her into what she knew nothing about?

"Okay. " Their dad finally said calling all their attention and Ella slowly and anxiously lifted her head to look up at him. With the tone in his voice, she knew that he had already come up with a conclusion and she dreaded so bad to hear it. She knew it would be something that would make her feel bad if he didn't listen to her and decided to make her join them in their punishments.

"This is settled." He said with his eyes on Ella. "You are going to take the fall for this Ella. This is happening because you didn't inform us about what you saw. There's no explanation you give that can make me believe you weren't part of all this shit. So that effect, you are all grounded for the next month." He declared with so much authority and Ella's eyes went wide with disbelief.

"What?!!!" All the three siblings chorused at the same time. The dread filling up their bodies was enough to choke them already.

"Yes! And when I mean grounded, you are not allowed to leave the house even for the annual family get-together coming up in a few days." He said and the anger laced in his voice made Ella know that he meant it.

"What?" Ella gasped feeling as though an arrow had struck her heart deeply. That was the worst punishment anyone could render to her right now. The annual family get-together was her favorite family event and she always endeavored to make sure she was part of it because of the amazing attention and attributes she stands to achieve being a member of the Anderson family.

God, it made her feel so broken. She looked at her dad and was about to say something but he interrupted her with more punishments.

"And most importantly." He continued giving all of them scrutinizing stares. " No phones, no internet, and no laptops. " He said and all of a sudden, as soon as those words left his lips, it felt like the entire building had collapsed on top of their heads. Ella found herself gazing at him with wide eyes.

Is this man seriously kidding me right now? She thought as she gritted her teeth with annoyance. this isn't just fair. This is the absolute worst. Who the hell attempts to give their children this sort of punishment? How does he expect them to move around the house without their phones and internet connection and still not be able to go outside? Isn't that abstract heartlessness? Just what the hell is he thinking?

"But Dad, I need the laptop for my project. How am I supposed to go about that it is important?" Luke suddenly said trying as much as I could to bring himself out of the cocoon but Mr Anderson glared at him.

" No internet or laptops!!!! That is my final verdict!!!!" He repeated with fury in his face and turned around backing them. "You all are dismissed. I can't bear to look at you all anymore. " He said and Marcus glared at him for a short while hesitating for a little bit before they both stood up from the ground and left the sitting room grumbling within themselves.

"Asshole. " Ella heard Marcus mutter under his breath when he passed by her and she shut her eyes. She remained in her position completely struck in the chest by this heavy punishment. She felt devastated. She felt overtaking. What is she going to do? This is just too unfair. Her entire life was being wrecked by the very person should never have expected. Her dad. Why would he do this to her when it was so obvious she was innocent?

This is just not good. She looked up at her dad with glistening eyes.

"But Dad...." He got up and immediately left the room without even bothering to listen to what she wanted to say and she suddenly felt like her soul had departed from her body.

What the heck? Is he seriously leaving me right now when I am attempting to explain myself? She thought. what has suddenly gotten over him? I am his daughter for hell's sake. Why is he treating me like this? I didn't do anything wrong. She thought.

She found herself glancing in the direction he just left before holding her fingers together. Then she sighed and turned to her mom just as she also stood up from her seat. The look her mom was giving her was just so heartbreaking. She wanted to run into a rabbit hole.

" I am so disappointed in you Ella. This is not you." She said and also left.

Ella felt completely shattered from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet. She frowned and clenched her fists together with raging fury. What have these arrogant brothers of hers done?

"Oh God help me if I don't make sure they pay daily for this, let the Lord of anger strike me." She muttered softly to herself with her eyes expressing the heavy amount of wrath undergoing through her system.
