Zara’s POV
“Are you telling me that you eat normal food now? What about the milk I expressed?” I gasped
“We don’t need it” Isla smiled up at me “Just blood and food now”
“Well, I guess that will make it easier for mum, dad and Ivy when they look after you tomorrow” I sighed as I took Isla’s hand and Zane took Lachlan’s “How about we go and give everyone else a bit of a shock too. Zane can you please grab the highchairs as I have a feeling, we will need them now”
“Let’s go” Zane chuckled as he transported us all to the dining room.
“Morning” I called out to my parents who were still in the kitchen as I walked over and sat down with the twins on my lap while Zane set up the highchairs.
“Why do you need highchairs?” Ivy asked as she walked over and sat down before her eyes landed on the twins and she froze.
“Because the twins had a bit of a growth spurt last night” I smirked as Zane finished setting up the chairs and took the twins of me to get them seated.
“A bit?” she mumbled
“Hungry” Isla told me
“I know” I told her “Grandma and Grandad will be out soon with your breakfast”
“They are on food?” Ivy asked as Gerald came to sit beside her and froze
“Yep” Zane grinned “They are also toilet trained and can walk and talk as you have just heard”
“Bloody hell” he laughed
“Did you already have the clothes?” Ivy asked
“No” I sighed “We had to quickly leave to get them this morning. I think we are going to have to get the clothes each morning as apparently, they grow overnight while they are sleeping”
“Morning” Bethany grinned as she walked out “Who is excited to go house hunting today?” she sat down and glanced over at the highchairs before taking a second look and laughing “Looks like someone had a growth spurt” she told the twins
“Yes” they both told her with matching grins
“But mum got upset” Isla told her
“She didn’t like us growing so quickly, she liked us as babies” Lachlan added.
“I have a feeling the next baby you have will stay a baby for longer” Bethany told me “I am not sure why these two are growing so quickly, but my gut is telling me your others won’t. None of them will be normal babies and they will all have gifts and grow quickly. Just not as quickly as the twins are”
“Well, that’s nice to know” I smiled “I was wondering about that”
“Breakfast is served” mum called out as she walked out with her arms full and started to set the table. She did not even look around the table before walking back to the kitchen to get the rest of the food.
“I hope she places all the food down before she notices” Ivy chuckled “If not I have a feeling we will end up wearing the food”
“We will be on guard” Gerald told her “I am sure between me, Zane and Bethany we can save the food”
“Where is Albert?” I asked Bethany
“He wanted to go and make sure that the hunters were all still secure, he knows that you will be taking the twins up to feed after breakfast”
“Then we get to all leave and look at houses” Ivy grinned “I am so excited about getting off the island for a little while”
“After the games we will be able to get back to normal” Gerald told her.
“I know” she smiled “And I am fine with staying her for another few days. My craziness has gone away now”
“Prisoners are still secure and very pissed off” Albert chuckled “Are we still telling them what Dennis is before we leave for the day?”
“We are” Zane told him “We will let the twins feed and then we will expose Dennis before making out way to the dock and heading back for the day”
Mum and dad brough the rest of the food out and thankfully they were both sat down before mum noticed the twins.
“Hungry grandma” Isla told her while waving her arms
“What the?” mum asked as she looked between them before turning her full attention to me.
“They had a bit of a growth spurt overnight” I told her “Now it seems they eat food”
“And talk” dad chuckled as he filled a plate for both twins and placed it down on their trays for them.
“Thank you” they both clapped as they started to eat.
“And no longer wear nappies” Zane told them
“And they walk” I added “The guy who they are going to be feeding from will be even more shocked when he realises that the babies are now toddlers”
“He was shocked enough when you were no longer pregnant” Zane nodded
“Then hurry up and eat” Albert smirked “I want to mess with the hunter’s heads before we leave. I have a feeling it will make the games tomorrow much more interesting”
I had to agree with him, and I had a feeling that the twins would end up draining the hunter and killing him. I was looking forward to Dennis seeing that I was mated, happy and had kids with Zane.
I quickly finished my breakfast and saw that everyone else was also eating just as quickly, including the twins who had managed to smash back the whole plate that my dad had filled for them.
“Are we ready to go and let the twins feed?” Zane asked with an evil grin
“Yummy” Lachlan giggled as he liked his lips
“We will clear away the dishes while you are gone, so that we are ready to leave when you get back” mum told us as she started to clear away the dishes.
“Are you coming?” Gerald asked Ivy
“Can I?” she asked “I kind of want to face Dennis as I am pissed at him for using me to try and hurt Zara”
