Chapter 30: Our Big Day and The Rogues Become a Problem

Today is finally the day that I am going to become Mrs. Everly Matthews. Right now I am currently getting my make-up done. My hair has already been styled into an updo. I am a little nervous, but ready.

After my make-up is done, I get up and put my beautiful white princess wedding dress on. It is white and lacey. It is also strapless and flows out and becomes poofy. My mom brings my veil and attaches it to my hair clip. I look in the mirror and I really do look like a princess. I turn around and find my mom, Bethany, Sam, and Luna Ivy all crying.

Luna Ivy says, "Colton is going to be speechless when he sees you. You look just like a princess."

I say, "Thank you."

I look at my watch and it is time to go. We all file out of the room and go outside to where my dad is standing by the garden. He turns and gasps.

He whispers, "Wow Everly, you look so beautiful. You will always be my little princess."

He then hugs me. I watch as my mom and Luna Ivy walk to their seats and then Sam walks down the aisle and then Bethany. It is now my turn.

I grab my dad's arm and we start walking down the aisle. I see Colton and he is crying, but smiling. I look over and my brother even has tears in his eyes. We get to the end of the aisle and my dad places my hand in Colton's. We then hold both hands and the ceremony starts.

Colton leans over to me and whispers, "Everly, you look so beautiful and I am so in love with you."

I say, "Thank you. You also look incredible and I can't wait until you are my husband. I love you too."

We say our vows and exchange the rings. Colton's dad says, "You may now kiss the bride."

Colton sweeps me into his arms, kisses me and dips me back. The kiss becomes heated. I eventually pull away and smile at Colton. He grabs my hand and we walk to where the party is going to happen. They announce us and everyone comes over to congratulate us. I find Tyler being held by my mom and he looks so cute in his little tuxedo.

It is now time for the first dance as man and wife. Colton and I sway to the music and just stare into each other's eyes. I hear Tyler crying and I am go and grab him and he dances with us. Tyler puts his head against my shoulder and is also holding Colton's hand. We look like a little happy family.

The party goes on until late into the night. My parents took Tyler home with them so that we can be alone tonight. We stand up to announce that we are going to retire to our room for the night. Just as we finish speaking, there is a loud roar and rogues come running onto our land. I look up and see what looks to be the leader walking towards Colton and I. He looks and smells filthy and is missing some of his front teeth. He is young like us and walks with a limp. He stops before us.

He smiles and says, "Hi, my name is Colby, I am the new rogue king and I have come here for your baby, Tyler. He is the rightful heir to the rogue kingdom. I will be taking him back with me so that I can properly train him."

I just look at him and Coltons starts yelling, "You are crazy, that is my son. He will never be a rogue let alone a rogue king. He will become Alpha of this pack, which he is heir to. Get off my land, NOW."

Colby just gives us a sadistic grin. He then says, "Either you hand him over or I will kill this whole pack."

I say, "Tyler is not heir to your kingdom. He is Colton's son and his mother was Victoria. She was Edwards mate, but she never became his Luna. You have no authority to take our son. We will kill you before you even get anywhere near him."

Colby just stares at us and then raises his arm. All of his rogues immediately start attacking our pack. Colton pushes me behind him. He tells me to go to my parents house, where Tyler is and protect him. i start running and never look back. I get to my parents house and start pounding on their door. It is immediately opened by my dad. He kisses me on the forehead and then starts running towards where the fight is occurring. I shut the door and lock it. I then find my mom sitting in the living room holding Tyler. I take him from her and just kiss him and make sure that he is ok. I tell my mom that rogues are attacking us and that they want Tyler. She looks so pale. There is a knock at the door and I look out to see who it is. I see Luna Ivy, Bethany and Sam. I let them in. Sam brought me some clothes, so that I can get out of my wedding dress. She also brought Tyler's baby sling so that I can put him in it and attach him to my chest. That way if we have to run, I am ready. I change my clothes and put the sling on. Bethany hands my Tyler and I secure him to my chest. I make sure that he has his little shoes on and a sweater so that he doesn't get cold. I also have a bag packed for him.

It is now dawn and the sun is starting to rise. I haven't heard anything from Colton. He is blocking me. I hope that he hasn't gotten hurt. Hopefully they have killed all of the rogues so that they will not come for my son. There is a knock at the door and everyone freezes. I tiptoe to the door and look out. I see two big rogues standing there. I run back to the living room and grab Tyler's bag. We all head down to the basement where there is a special door that will lead us into tunnels that run beneath our pack. I find the special entrance and open the door. I have everyone go into the tunnels and then I do too and shut the door. Hopefully it is concealed enough to where they will not see it. I can hear the rogues breaking the front door down and running through the house. I hear them come into the basement and Tyler starts whimpering. We start walking through the tunnels. We are heading to the pack house. Hopefully none of the rogues are there or in these tunnels. I do not hear anything or anyone. We get to the tunnel that leads us to the pack house, I can see the door ahead that leads into the basement. I reach the door and listen, but I do not hear anything. I try to mindlink Colton and he finally responds.

I say, "Colton, where are you?"

He says, "The fight just ended and we won. We killed Colby and the rest of the rogues. You can come out now."

I say, "Did you kill the two rogues that broke into my parents house? We had to escape to the tunnels and we are at the door to the basement of the pack house. I don't want to open the door because there could be rogues hiding there."

"Just wait a sec. I sent Noah, Kyle and your dad to the house to check it out. Mason, Elliot and I are coming into the pack house to get you. Just stay put."

I relay the message to the others and we wait. All of a sudden, there is a loud noise behind us and I see the two rogues running towards us. I unstrap Tyler and give him to my mom. I then get in front of everyone and wait to fight. Bethany is beside me and so is Sam. We all three look at each other and then start running towards the rogues. I get to one of them and kick him as hard as I can. Bethany and Sam do the same to the other rogue. I look at them and we didn't even knock them down. I can hear running foot steps coming towards us from both directions. I look up and see my dad, Noah, and Kyle. Then I see Colton, Elliot and Mason coming from the other direction. Alll three of us girls move out of the way and the guys take over and kill both rogues in an instant.

Colton runs to me and says, "Everly, are you ok? You didn't get hurt did you?"

I shake my head and say, "I am ok, but I need to hold Tyler right now."

My mom comes running up and hands me Tyler. I hug both him and Colton. We then walk back to the pack house. I am so pissed that those rogues ruined our reception. No one will ever get their hands on my baby boy. I will fight until death to protect him and any other children that we have.
