Chapter 596 This Hand Seal Is Still Not Qualified Enough
Chapter 596 This Hand Seal Is Still Not Qualified Enough
The bald man was called Mad Shark. He was an excellent shooter with almost perfect accuracy.
He once had a chance to join the international shooting team, but out of gratitude to Valencia, he stayed by her side.
Together with Black Bear, another man with incredible brute strength, he had made countless contributions for Valencia and helped her earn a place in The Gonzalez Family.
He put on a pair of sunglasses and strode out with over a dozen bodyguards.
Several female companions followed to watch the excitement.
A few guests and security guards along the way couldn't dodge in time and were kicked over without mercy by Mad Shark.
Mad Shark arrived at room 103, slapped away a waiter delivering drinks, then kicked the door.
With a loud bang, the door flew open.
Over a dozen people surged in with killing intent.
Mad Shark strode into the private room with an aggressive swagger and sneered:
"Kid, get out here. You're in big trouble."
His vision clear, Mad Shark saw James leisurely drinking while Yves lay on the ground like a dead dog.
James looked up at Mad Shark: "From The Gonzalez Family?"
"Kid, you know we're from The Gonzalez Family and you're still so arrogant? Looks like you've got quite a background."
Mad Shark laughed mockingly: "Tell me your name and let's see if you can scare me."
Over a dozen companions also moved closer with fake smiles, clearly not believing James could outrank The Gonzalez Family.
James said casually: "Didn't expect you really are from The Gonzalez Family. Looks like you're Blood Medical Sect's lackeys."
"You little punk, how dare you slander The Gonzalez Family?"
Mad Shark's face turned cold: "Believe it or not, I'll chop you into eighteen pieces and feed you to the dogs?"
He couldn't stand hearing Valencia being called a lackey.
James's face showed no emotion: "Cut the crap. What do you want?"
"Kid, this is Ms. Gonzalez's handprint. She wants you to cut off one of your own hands, send over the woman Mr. Foster wants, and she'll spare your life."
Mad Shark sneered:
"If you dare say no, not only will you die here, but your family and whoever's backing you will all suffer."
James's ignorant attitude made Mad Shark think he was some reckless young punk with a bit of background.
After speaking, he raised his right hand. The name "Valencia" written in lipstick on his palm was blindingly bright under the lights.
Over a dozen companions looked confident, waiting to see James scared out of his wits—after all, Valencia was a big name in Stardust City.
Several difficult situations had been settled with just one handprint from Valencia.
James saw it—wouldn't he kneel and apologize?
But to their surprise, James had no reaction.
He just leaned back on the sofa: "Can't see clearly. Bring it over and let me look."
Mad Shark laughed in anger: "Bring it over for you to look?"
"You think I'll obediently come forward and let you get a good look?"
"Who the hell do you think you are?"
Over a dozen companions also laughed mockingly.
James shook his head gently: "You don't need to come over."
Mad Shark narrowed his eyes: "What do you mean?"
As soon as he finished speaking, a figure flashed from the corner, and sword light suddenly blazed.
Mad Shark's face changed dramatically. He instinctively reached for his gun, but his wrist suddenly felt cold, followed by intense pain shooting to his head.
He screamed and staggered back three or four steps. Looking down, his entire wrist had been severed, his right hand gone.
"You..."
Mad Shark gasped in pain and glared at James angrily.
He saw a black-clothed young man had appeared beside James, cold all over, expressionless, holding a right hand.
He placed the bloody right hand in front of James.
It was Mad Shark's hand.
Over a dozen companions' faces changed immediately.
They didn't expect James would dare strike so viciously, much less that James had such a skilled fighter beside him.
Several women watching the excitement screamed and backed away.
"Valencia?"
James glanced at the severed hand, then smiled faintly:
"Nice handwriting, just a bit rushed at the end. Alright, I've seen the handprint."
"Go back and tell Valencia this handprint isn't good enough."
James flicked lightly with a dagger, and the right hand flew out like a cannonball, hitting Mad Shark right in the nose.
Another sharp pain.
Mad Shark grunted, covering his nose and backing up several steps.
Barely containing his rage, he forced out a sentence: "Not putting The Gonzalez Family in your eyes like this—who exactly are you?"
James said calmly: "Me? Just a small doctor, and also someone who does the right thing."
"I don't care who you are. You dare hurt me, I'll cripple you tonight."
Mad Shark couldn't hold back anymore and shouted at the bodyguards beside him:
"Brothers, get him. Kill him."
As soon as he spoke, over a dozen Zheng family bodyguards pulled out weapons and charged at James with killing intent.
Before James could speak, Francis flashed forward, charging into the crowd with overwhelming momentum.
Sword light flashed, and over a dozen people felt pain in their wrists. Looking down, all their right hands had been severed.
They screamed and retreated. Just as they backed up a few steps, Francis struck again with his sword.
Light blazed once more.
Over a dozen bodyguards all flew back, blood spraying from their chests as they fell to the ground.
Not dead, but the wounds affected their hearts, leaving them unable to fight.
Mad Shark could no longer stay calm and reached for his pistol with his good left hand.
His fingers had just touched the cold metal when Francis's sword tip pierced through his shoulder blade, pinning him to the wall behind.
Blood dripped down the blade, shocking under the lights.
Mad Shark screamed.
He tried to struggle, but the pain in his shoulder blade kept him from moving. He could only glare at James and shout:
"Kid, you dare hurt us?"
He was furious: "Can you handle the consequences?"
"Obviously."
James walked up to Mad Shark: "I've already hurt so many people, and you're still asking that?"
"I've been in Stardust City for so many years. You're the first person who dares to hurt me."
Mad Shark gritted his teeth, staring at James darkly: "If you've got the guts, kill me. Otherwise, you're dead."
James slapped him, and Mad Shark's teeth fell out: "So much nonsense."
"Call Valencia. Tell her this handprint isn't enough to summon me."
"I'm keeping both you and Yves."
He picked up a phone from the ground and threw it in front of Mad Shark.
Mad Shark's eyelids twitched. He wanted to be tough, but under Francis's sharp sword, he finally gave in.
He dialed Valencia's number.
The call connected, and a woman's indifferent voice came through: "Mad Shark, haven't you brought him back yet?"
Mad Shark spoke with difficulty: "Miss, I've been defeated..."
The other end was silent for a moment, then spoke flatly:
"Clear the scene."
