Chapter Twenty Nine
Chapter Twenty Nine
Margaret Mathias.
The morning rays shone on my skin, birds perched on my legs, and I felt a warm body hovering over me. I opened my eyes to see what was happening, and I noticed that it was none other than Denise, his face looking well sculpted and his hair slightly damp, but he was naked and was close to me.
I immediately stood up, looking at him with evident fear and shock. I let out a muffled scream as I pushed him and stood up, only to realize that I was naked as well.
"What the fuck happened?" I asked, my eyes widening as I tried to cover my body, but it was futile.
Denise opened his eyes; the morning rays shone on his face, which made him try to cover his face with his hand. He averted his gaze toward me, and that was when I noticed his eyes had turned to a deep shade of blue, making him look even more handsome. I can't explain the feeling, but his eyes made him look more handsome than he should ever be. While looking at him, I felt very strong emotions, the ones I had never felt before as I watched him, even though I had never felt this way towards anyone, which is something I'm still finding hard to comprehend.
He managed to stand on the ground and walked up to me, but I was moving backwards. "Don't you dare fucking come close to me," I yelled, raising my voice.
He raised an eyebrow, looking baffled. "After what we shared yesterday under the full moon, that's what you are going to tell me?"
I shook my head while trying to recall what happened yesterday, but I still can't remember. "W... what happened yesterday?" I asked gently.
"You don't remember!" He exclaimed.
"Yes, I don't; you tell me," I said while puckering my lips.
He smiled and walked up to me as he gently wrapped his hand around mine. His gaze was intense, making me feel something that was never there. He didn't say anything but rather just sealed his lips around mine. I couldn't fight, but rather I found myself craving more of his touch, almost craving for him to be inside of me, which was something I didn't expect.
I immediately pushed him, realizing what I was doing. "No, this is wrong. You are my co-wife's brother; I can't do this," I said, moving backwards, but he wrapped his hand around mine, making me feel jolts of electricity coursing through my entire being. I turned to him while wondering what was happening to me.
"You mean you don't feel the connection?"
"I... I... I don't understand what's happening."
"Yes, you do; you are just ignoring what you want deep within me."
I turned to look at him, tears slowly slipping down my cheeks, my heart racing, and my knees weakening when he slightly lifted one of my legs, spreading my flowery bud as he used his available hand to massage it, making me curse under my breath, letting out muffled moans as wet juices dripped down to my thighs.
"Yes... please don't stop..." I found myself begging like a mindless whore, then realization dawned on me again. I immediately moved away, letting go of his hand without thinking twice. I started running while completely naked. I noticed some leaves; I immediately used them to cover myself, then I continued briskly taking every step while navigating through the tall shrubs until I found myself near a beautiful building.
Without thinking twice, I ran through the building while hoping to find help. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. I found myself knocking again and again, already feeling frustrated, only for the door to be pried open, and then I saw my mother standing by the door, her eyes brimming with tears and her skin slightly pale as she walked up to me, wrapping her hands around me.
"I...I thought I had lost you," she cried with so much pain in her voice.
"What are you doing here?" I asked intuitively.
"It doesn't matter what you or I are doing here; as long as you are fine, that's all that matters..." She paused, scanning the environment. What baffles me is that she didn't seem surprised that I was covered in leaves.
"Who or what are you looking for?"
"Nothing, I just thought you would be coming back with Denise."
"Denise? How did you know he was with me?" I asked, looking baffled, because many things don't add up anymore.
Her eyes widened while turning to look at me. "You mean you don't remember anything, how you had killed some people and..." She stopped talking as more tears slipped down her cheeks.
"Kill? Have I killed someone? What's happening? Someone should tell me what the fuck is happening," I said while raising my voice; my nerves were already high with emotions.
"You need to calm down and get some rest, then we can talk about things later."
"No, I'm not calming down, Mum, unless they explain what the fuck is happening right now, because I'm not taking any shit from anyone," I cursed loudly while going to the nearby wall as I slammed my hand so hard, causing the wall to shake.
There I saw Jennifer Huntsman walk out of the building; her gaze was intense as she walked forward towards me, my heart pounding so fast, many thoughts running through my mind as I wondered what could have made her come here.
Everything was infuriating me, only for Alexander to walk towards me. His gaze was focused on me before he surprised me by landing a tight slap against my cheeks. My cheeks burned, and my eyes turned red with rage. Without thinking twice, I lunged at him while feeling enraged. I tried calming my nerves, but nothing was working. My mother held me back, but nothing was stopping me; I was making sure I killed anyone who came my way.
"I told you not to do it, but you insisted..." Lorena cried at Alexander.
I could feel fur growing on my skin and my fangs elongating. For the first time, I saw fear in the eyes of Alexander; he stood there with no remorse in his eyes. I felt my body shaking, almost weakening, because I desperately wanted to kill him right there and then. Then an old man who seemed to me in his early fifties arrived; he had a smug smile on his face as he said, "She was meant to mate with both her mates, but she mated with only one. You don't expect her to be completely sane? I expected you to have known better; for that, you should lock her up until she calms down."
Alexander was silent; there was a flicker of pain in his eyes as he commanded his men, "Lock her up." When those words escaped his lips, they immediately rushed as they grabbed both arms before taking me to another room. I could see the pain in my mother's eyes before she was pulled away from me.
"Mother..." I cried, my voice croaked as I continued being pulled away. I saw Alexander drag my mom without remorse; she looked scared, which brought out the animalistic side of me as I lunged at Alexander, breaking free from the men who had once held me. Without thinking twice, I wrapped my hand around his neck, sinking my elongated nails into his flesh as I said with so much authority, "If you must mess with anyone, let it not be my mother, because I would make sure I send you to your early grave."
He was gasping and violently shaking his body while dangling midair. Then I saw him signal one of his men with his eyes, only to hear a loud scream coming from my mother, "Nooo..."
I turned to see what was happening only to feel pain course through my entire being; I felt my heart race when I noticed blood seeping out of me.
My hand weakened as I dropped him on the ground, letting him fall like someone who weighed a few pounds. Pain scorched through my entire being before I fell to the ground, my vision blurred. I saw my mother rushing, sobbing, and calling out my name. "Mum, what's happening?" I asked gently before I completely blacked out.
..............
'You are so beautiful; I wonder why I never noticed how beautiful you are,' a manly voice echoed.
I tried opening my heavy eyelids, but they wouldn't budge. I tried one more time, only to feel someone's breath fanning my skin. I opened my eyes to see who it was, and that was when I saw him. It was Denise. He had a broad smile on his face as he stared at me. Before I could comprehend what was happening, he immediately wrapped his hand around me. His gaze was intense, with many thoughts roaming through my mind. I tried as much as possible to calm my nerves, but I just couldn't. I felt my body weaken, and I felt so much pain in my lower abdomen. I tried sitting down, only to feel immense pain. I let out a grunt. Denise stopped me from moving. "Your wound is still healing; you need some rest."
I turned to look at him, tears slowly slipping down the corners of my eyes. "Where am I? Where is my mother? How did I end up in this condition?" I asked many questions at a time, but I couldn't receive a single answer.
Then he leaned beside me, his lips almost sealing with mine before he whispered gently to my ears, "You are stronger than you think you are, so I'll advise you to pretend like you don't know anything so you will be able to survive, because many people are hunting for you right now."
