63: I can feel your emotions

The coronation was a long one for me, spending most of my day to figure out what Elena has become or is about to become.

I soon found myself pacing close to her room door in silence and piping through the key hole to still find her on a spot, close to her dressing mirror.

It took almost forever for Elena to finally dose off after waiting long whole hour, watching her engrossed in a deep conversation with herself while smiling at her reflection.

Everything around me seems awkward but yet relatable, it all happened even before I could explain to myself what was actually going on.

Something doesn't feel right about Elena today and I can't wait to find out why it's so.

I knew my mistakes must be coming back to hunt me in form of my nemesis, one past mistake.

'Not again, I've lost once....I shouldn't loose now again, did I go wrong in this?' my head banged with fear and suspense was about to take my life.

"What are you scared of?" Elena's voice came gently from behind with a question that should be obviously answered,my shaky hands on my waist and the other under my chin.

"Nothing at all..!" I rapped, looking around the bright lonely walkway, turning around repeatedly to clarify if she wasn't the one I heard.

"I can feel your emotions" her voice came again, but this time in my head and mildly.

My eyes searched around again, and piped through her room's keyhole before hurrying away.

She was fast asleep like a harmless pup.

'It was just in my head' the line on my forehead doubled and the one of my jaw tightened as I walked away to solve my problem.

My whole body vibrated as I approached the dungeon where Alice had been kept, she appears fairer than she had been.

A smirk took over my face as we made intense eye contact with meaning to it, one thing was becoming clear.

She has overcome the fear of sighting me, that could only imply another which is...she now has plans for me.

A day all to myself to deal with Elena's new character had left me feeling paranoid and suffocated.

Her blackeyes were fading away and the sight of that made the nut in my stomach tightened.

The lines of finger scratch on the wall made me swallowed hard and blinked repeatedly for few seconds before recovering my courage.

"I know your people will come for you, they are doing a good job here" I teased with my arms crossed and my eyes narrowed.

Looking around the cage door to ensure that there is no opening and as well remind her that they can't help her get away.

Something tells me that my time is close to being over any moment soon, the air around seems to be choking me but I knocked it off by reluctantly waving my hand in the air.

"Now... strictly business" my voice hoarse and my gaze remained fixed on her with my hands in my Pockets.

"What do you know about Elena?" I asked without breathing, expecting to hear the worst and still yet nothing as well.

"Elena.....you are the one who let a traveller into her, what are you expecting me to tell you"her high pitch voice almost gave me heart attack.

She stood up and took few steps sideways from where she was and turned around slowly to meet gaze with me.

"It's bad the moon goddess is coming back as a Luna to the tribe who betrayed her.... it's not a good sign" she bent the corners of her lips while the upper part rose up alittle as she shook her head slowly in disgust.

I got struck with uncertainty but curiosity made me go on,the atmospheric condition had gradually changed but I refused to pay attention to it.

"What do you mean by that?" I fired but maintained my cool on remembering that she seems to have the upper hand here.

"Do you think I don't know about Rowena?...." She paused with her mouth partially opened and her index finger unconsciously pointing towards the roof.

My face darkened on hearing that, she fooled me all this while to act like she didn't know about Rowena.

Alice supported her right fist with the left arm, to rest under her Chin while she thought for split a second and then smiled.

"Oh! She also escaped too" her shoulders dropped after saying that and I felt a slight wave of disappointment coming from her and she walked away to her initial position.

"She could have traced her powers back but it's in sleepmode because of you" she looked at me from my head to toe like her eyes was a sort of scanning machine.

"I will make you suffer!" I yelled uncontrollably, and immediately realizing how weak it made me looked.

She laughed heartedly and flashed me a bright smile before having her seat on the floor next to her little bag.

"My family is dead....I was going to make you kill your Luna yourself but... since she is going to bring you pain for enternity" she flashes a killing smirk and but some of her hair back behind her ear and smiled.

"That would be my best revenge plan..... sounds good right, do you like it?" Her plain tone gave more meaning at this and she immediately changed vibes into a jolly fellow, smiling and clapping.

"Do you feel Elena in your head?.... wait until she fully remembers who she really is" she stopped clapping and placed both palms together and smiled again.

"Tell me all you know unless I will drain the remaining blood out of you!...I will kill you!" I yelled furiously, banging the bars of the cage with my already red palm.

"Relax" she ordered softly with her hands directing the order in which I should breathe, moving her hands together upward and downwards and then shook her head slowly.

"The moon goddess told me everything to the peak...I will be very much dead but you Derek, you will beg for death" she said firmly and I suddenly felt a large lump in my throat.

"Where is Rex and how is his visions going for him?" She asked unexpectedly and my eyebrows popped up in amusement.

"How do you know that?" The frown on my face darkened while I asked, looking like one of the fifth century Alpha.

Her face lightened up immediately and she burst into laughter that sent chills running down my spine.

"I came back for a reason" she mentioned acidly.

"Do you think I just forgave you for killing my family and ruining my life just like that....for what...just to become an omega?" The sound of her voice brought waves of anxiety to my soul.

Her face clouded and her eyes turned ocean, her lips about to quiver as she looked away slowly to back me.

"I would have loved to help find Rowena but I can't do such because....." She paused softly and swiftly turned to my direction.

"You know what happens to werewolves without the light of the goddess?" Her lips tightened slightly and she raised her eyebrows, bending her head slightly to the left.

It was a question not to be answered anyway, I left.
