Chapter 16: Tree House

There was a massive tree which was ten times taller than them.

"How do we get up there?" Dahyun asked.

"Using that." She pointed at a makeshift elevator.

It was made out of wood and tied together, with a rope to ascend to the top.

"Are you sure it's safe?" Sana said concerned.

"Yes... but I've only tried it on one person, so let's try it out." She pushed Dahyun, Momo and Jihyo into it first.

She stepped inside and started pulling the rope which made them ascend.

DahMo were tightly tugging each other, Momo closed her eyes whilst Dahyun rested her head on her shoulder. Jihyo looked out to the view, she could almost see all of the land, there was the volcano which sits quietly and the water that surrounds the island.

They reached the top of the tree and stepped inside, Dahyun and Momo both fell to the ground, alsmost passing out.

Jisoo lowered the elevator for the others to get on.

"Make yourself at home." She said.

The tree house was quite big, there was even a cocktail bar inside.

There was a hammock where she slept and behind it was a window that had a view of the volcano, a table with all Jisoo's explorer equipment and a radio.

"This place is big." Chaeyoung exclaimed, stepping inside.

Mina was shaking with joy.

"I can't believe I'm at Kim Jisoo's house." She said with a high pitched voice.

"Tree house to be exact." Sana also looking around.

"That makeshift elevator of yours is handy." Nayeon also arrived at the top with Jeongyeon and Tzuyu.

"You were scared." Jeongyeon tease Nayeon.

Nayeon hit her.

"Actually both of you were, you were tugging my arm." Tzuyu spoke.

Jeongyeon stopped talking, but now Nayeon is teasing her.

"Anyone want drinks?" Jisoo asked.

The girls went to the bar and watched her, she had fruits and had given out wooden cups to them.

"Fancy." Dahyun observed the cup.

One girl didn't come.

Jihyo went to the radio and checked it. She tired to turn it on but it was still blank, she checked if there was any batteries and it was empty.

Jihyo sighed.

"The radio doesn't work, I lost the batteries long ago." Jisoo came to Jihyo with a cup of juice and handed it to her.

"You look someone familiar." Jisoo examined Jihyo.

"What is the radio for anyway?" Momo asked, Jisoo turned losing her focus on Jihyo.

"It's a two way radio, I can receive signals and I can send signals to the outside world." She explained.

"What are your names exactly?" Jisoo looked at the girls.

"Well I'm Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyeon and Tzuyu." Nayeon spoke.

"Jihyo, I swear I heard that name before."

"I'm all dirty!" Dahyun moaned.

"I actually have some spare clothes." Jisoo stood up and got a big duffel bag under from her hammock.

It was explorer clothes and she had enough for all of them.

"How do you have so many?" Sana asked whilst changing.

"You don't know what will happen while exploring."

Everyone seemed to fit into except Chaeyoung, the girls laughed at her.

"We should clean in the sea." Chaeyoung suggested, whilst rolling up her sleeves.

The others nodded. Jisoo, Tzuyu and Sana went on first.

"You coming, Jihyo?" Nayeon asked.

"You go, I'm just gonna stay." Jihyo leant on the bar.

When girls left, Jihyo went to the equipment of Jisoo's explorer stuff.

There was map on the table, it was the map of the island.

"This is my chance."
