Chapter 14: Exploring The Island
They set off to explore the island, they had to walk slow because of Sana's injury.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Sana asked.
"Yeah, what if we get lost?" Tzuyu helping Sana.
"We're just going in a straight line, if we go back we can just walk the other way." Jihyo explained.
They continued to walk in a straight line until they heard a rumble.
"What was that?" Chaeyoung almost lost her balance.
"Not my stomach, that's for sure." Everyone rolled their eyes at Momo.
"It was like an earthquake." Nayeon spoke.
Suddenly they stopped in their tracks when they saw footprints in the ground.
Jeongyeon examined it.
"It looks like someone was here." She said.
"Look at that." Mina spotted something next to a tree.
"It a ripped piece of fabric." She held it up.
"Do you think it's the figure we saw?" Nayeon asked.
Jihyo shrugged.
As they walked on forwards more ripped fabric were scattered all over the place.
"There are more footprints." Jeongyeon pointed at the ground.
They decided to follow it, but it suddenly there were no more tracks.
"The heck, where did it go?" Dahyun looked around.
They checked around the area but couldn't find anymore.
Suddenly, they could hear sounds around them, they backed up into the middle, looking out for each other.
Then a rope snapped in the distance.
Before they knew it they were suspended in the air.
"What is this?" Chaeyoung struggeld.
"It's a trap." Mina's voice could be heard.
They were on top of each other in a small space.
"We have to get out!" Nayeon started to pull the ropes.
"Jihyo, do you still have that fire starter?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Yeah, but it's on the ground."
Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo tried to snap the ropes by pulling them apart.
Mina tried to look for something to use.
The others just struggled and watched them.
"Wait, what was that?" Everyone stopped when Chaeyoung heard something.
It was the rustling behind the trees, someone must be watching them.
They all stopped moving, focused on one specific spot.
Suddenly, another rope snapped and making them fall hard on the ground.
As they struggled to get up, they saw something towering them.
