Chapter 191

Chapter 191

"Why are you suddenly asking about this?" Tenley perked up at the mention and started chatting with them. "I don't have many expectations for my son. When he gets married is up to him. I just hope he finds a girl he truly loves."

"That's so nice," Charles said enviously. "I wish my parents were as chill as you. But they pressure me to get married every day. It's exhausting."

"What's the rush? If we don't get married at the right age, we're more anxious than they are," Dennis chimed in.

"Exactly," Charles agreed. "But what can you do? Parents are like that."

The food arrived.

Zoey kept her head down, eating, and didn't join in on the 'marriage pressure' conversation.

Robert had ordered a plate of lobster. She peeled a few but found the lobster didn't seem very fresh.

To clean the grease off her hands, she went to the restroom.

Just as she finished washing her hands, the door to one of the stalls opened.

Out walked a boy, about seven or eight years old.

Zoey was puzzled. "What?"

Wasn't this the women's restroom?

She glanced around and confirmed she was in the right place. There were even two women waiting in line.

The women were momentarily surprised to see the boy but didn't say anything.

The boy didn't leave after coming out. Instead, he squatted down and started playing on his phone.

Zoey looked at him and deliberately asked, "Hey there, little girl, why are you here alone? Where's your family?"

The boy looked up at Zoey, sensing she was talking to him. "Are you talking to me?"

"Yes, little girl. Where's your family? Are you lost?"

"I'm a boy! I'm not a little girl!" The boy protested, not caring about her questions, focusing instead on defending his gender.

"Huh? A boy?" Zoey acted incredulously. "Aren't you a girl? Why are you saying such nonsense?"

The boy was exasperated. What about him didn't look like a boy?

"I am a boy! What are you talking about?"

Zoey seriously denied his claim. "If you're not a girl, why are you in the women's restroom?"

"My mom brought me in! I am a boy!"

"How can you prove you're a boy?"

Desperate to prove himself, the boy shouted, "I have a dick!"

Zoey looked at him. "I don't believe you. Only girls come into the women's restroom. Look at those ladies behind you. They're all girls, and so am I. So, you must be a girl too."

"I am a boy!" The boy was clearly losing the argument and was getting anxious, his face turning red.

Zoey remained calm. "It's okay. Once you're in the women's restroom, you're a girl. Girls don't have dicks. I'll help you cut it off, and then you'll be a girl."

She reached out as if to grab him.

The boy, terrified, covered his crotch. "No, don't come near me. You're scary."

The two women in line, knowing Zoey was teasing the boy, laughed.

At that moment, one of the stall doors opened, and an angry woman, looking to be in her forties with a sharp, harsh face, emerged.

She pulled up her pants and pointed at Zoey's forehead, yelling, "You bitch! Who do you think you are, scaring my kid like that? Threatening to cut off his dick. Do it, I dare you!"

The boy, seeing his mom, immediately ran to her for protection.

Zoey looked at the woman calmly. "You must be the little girl's mother."

"Are you blind? Can't tell the difference between a boy and a girl? Talking about cutting off my son's dick, you think I didn't hear? Apologize to my son right now, or you'll regret it!"

"Oh, so he's intersex? No wonder. Wearing boy's clothes in the women's restroom, must be a condition. But since you've chosen for him to be a girl, cutting off the dick is the right thing to do, isn't it?"

"Are you insane?" The woman, unsure if Zoey was mentally stable, decided not to argue further and tried to leave with her son.

Zoey, unfazed, sneered. "This condition needs medical attention. Otherwise, it won't be easy to treat later. He needs to understand he's a girl and start doing what girls do."

"Are you mentally deficient?" The woman, seeing people watching, retaliated loudly.

Zoey pursed her lips. "I'm not sick. Your son is. If I were, would I be in the women's restroom? Clearly, your son is the one with the problem, wearing boy's clothes in the women's restroom. It's a misunderstanding waiting to happen. If he were older, he could be arrested for indecency."

"You..." The woman, furious, emphasized her son's age. "He's only eight!"

Seeing her tantrum, Zoey turned to the boy and asked again, "Little girl, you need to see a doctor soon."

"I'm a boy! A boy!" The boy, overwhelmed, started crying uncontrollably.

The woman, heartbroken seeing her son cry, comforted him while cursing Zoey. "What kind of family raised you? You're a menace to society! Were you abandoned? Or did someone in your family die, making you this bitter? Picking on an eight-year-old, he hasn't even developed yet. What's wrong with him being in the women's restroom?"

"With all the kidnappings, would you leave your child alone? I keep him close for his safety. How does that affect you? If something happened to him, could you take responsibility? Who do you think you are?"

"I can tell you're pathetic. Not bad-looking, but your actions are vile. A social cancer! Who would marry you after seeing this? But your life is your own mess. I just want you to apologize to my son, now!"

Zoey underestimated the woman's tenacity.

The woman underestimated Zoey.

After the woman finished, Zoey just sneered. "Yes, I'm a social cancer. So what? That's your son, not my problem."
