Chapter 98

Ariel's POV(Two Weeks Later)

It had been Two weeks since Keven and Leo kidnapped me and the Warlock Lord tried to kidnap me. Brandon and Landon were worried that the Warlock Lord would come and try to kidnap me again. My Mates didn't want me training with Tabatha anymore because I was pregnant and they were worried about me overdoing it but I told them it was important for me to train because we didn't know when the Warlock Lord would come for me. No matter how much I wished it wasn't true I knew he was planning to take me so that I could help him take over the world. He would have to kill me before I helped him do anything.

"Are you ready to go Princess?" I heard Brandon ask on the other side of the bathroom door, taking me out of my thoughts. I had a meeting with the orphanage. Someone had called saying the children were being mistreated. I decided it would be a good idea to show up without letting anyone know. Of course, Brandon and Landon won't let me go alone. Laura and Mom said she wanted to come with us to see what was going on.

I put on my green sundress and put my hair in a ponytail and walked out of the bathroom. Brandon was sitting on our bed waiting for me. When I walked out of the bathroom he got up and walked over to me. "How are you feeling, now? Do you still feel nauseous?" Brandon asked as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"I am feeling better," I replied hugging him back.

"Maybe you should stay here and rest. Landon and Mom can go check on the orphanage and I will stay here with you. I don't want you stressing or overdoing it," Brandon said. I could tell he was worried about me and the baby.

"I am fine, Brandon. I want to go and see what is going on at the Orphanage. I am the Luna of this Pack and it is my job to make sure everyone is being treated right," I replied. Brandon looked at me for a moment but sighed.

"Okay, I know you want to make sure the pups are safe. If you start feeling sick let me know and I will bring you back here, Okay? I don't want anything happening to you or our pup," Brandon said

"I promise I will tell you if I feel sick. Now let's go check on the children," I said and Brandon and I walked hand in hand out of our room.

Alphas, Luna, I didn't know you were coming today," The lady that answered the door said. I looked at her nametag and saw her name was Tina.

"We decided to come to check on the children. Can we come inside, Tina?" I asked

"Of course. Please come inside," Tina said.

"Do you mind giving us a tour of the Orphanage and then we would like to see the pups," Brandon said

"Of course, Alpha," Tina said. Tina showed us around the Orphanage. She showed us every room in the Orphanage and everything looked nice.

"This is the playground. We have one for the older pups and one for the younger ones," Tina said. The children were playing around and looked happy. There was also a basketball court and some teenage boys were playing.

"Everything looks great," Mom said and I agreed.

"Would you like to speak to the pups now?" Tina asked

"Sure that would be nice," I replied and we went inside the dining hall to speak with the children.

"Ms. Tina is a nice lady and everyone else is nice as well. There was one lady that was mean and even hit some of the younger pups but Tina got rid of her as soon as she found out," one of the teenage boys said. All of the children had nothing but nice things to say about the Orphanage.

"So since that lady that you said hit the younger pups there haven't been any other issues?" Landon asked

"No. Everyone is great," The boy said. I could tell he was being honest. All the children seemed to love it at the Orphanage and it made me wonder why someone called saying someone was abusing the children.

"Thanks for letting us talk to the children. We know we showed up without notice," I said.

"It's nothing, Luna Ariel. The pups were happy to see you and the Alphas. Everyone says goodbye," Tina said and all the children said goodbye.

"It was nice meeting all of you. Maybe next week I can come back and ready you a story," I said and all the younger children started to cheer.

We were on our way to the car when it started to get dark outside.

"Hello, Little Witch." I heard and looked up to see the Warlock Lord standing in front of me. Brandon and Landon got in front of me protectively.

"Stay away from my Mate," Landon growled

"Freeze," The Warlock Lord said and everyone was frozen except for me.

"Come here, Little Witch," The Warlock Lord said. I tried fighting his command but found myself walking over to where he was.

"You are mine, now. I want you to kill your Mates," The Warlock Lord said. It took a lot of my energy to fight his command but I was able to.

"No, I would never hurt my Mates," I said and used my powers to push him away from me.

"You think you can disobey me? I am the most powerful being here," he said

"I don't agree with you," I replied. He suddenly threw a fireball at me and I used my powers to make the fireball fly back towards him.

"If you won't help me then you are my enemy. I will have to kill you like I did your family," he said and used his powers making me fall to the ground.

I quickly got up and used the tree branches to restrain him. I made them grow and wrapped them around his arms pulling him off the ground.

"Let me go. I am the warlock Lord and you will respect me." I couldn't help but laugh.

"You are nothing to me. unfreeze everyone," I said in a commanding voice that I knew he wouldn't be able to fight. He released everyone and Brandon and Landon walked over to me.

"Ariel, are you alright?" Brandon asked

"I am fine. We need to get him into a cell," I said. I took the handcuffs on his hands that block someone from using their powers when they are on and two guards took him to a cell.
