Chapter 84

Ariel's POV

"I guess I am not as weak as you thought, huh."

Tara shifted back into her naked human form, not caring that everyone could see her.

"Put me down," Tara said

"Not until you concede," I said.

"I will never concede to you," Tara replied.

"Fine, it's your choice," I said, using my powers to make her fly out of the fighting ring again.

"I am going to kill you," She growled and got up off the ground to run at me, but I lifted her again so she was hovering in the air.

"Are you ready to concede now?" I asked

"Never. You don't deserve Alpha Brandon or Alpha Landon. I bet you didn't know I used to fuck Alpha Landon before you arrived. I wanted to keep it a secret so no one in the Pack thought I became a warrior because of our relationship. I am sure he would prefer to have me in bed. He even told me I would become his Mate," Tara said, pissing me off.

"You are lying. Landon is mine," I said, and Tara went flying into a tree, hitting her head hard, which caused her to pass out. Everyone was looking at me in shock at what had just happened. The council member walked into the fighting ring and looked out at everyone.

"It looks like Luna won the challenge and will take her place as Luna," While he was talking, I walked out of the ring.

"Ariel." Brandon and Landon walked after me, but I kept walking, not wanting to talk to either of them.

"Ariel, wait up," Brandon said, and I stopped and turned to face my Mates.

"Is it true? Did you have a relationship with Tara?" I asked, looking at Landon. I could feel through his emotion that she was telling the truth before he answered me.

"Yes, we were messing around before you got here. I cut it off after meeting you, though, just like I did with every other she-wolf," Landon said.

"Why didn't you tell me? I understand you both have a past, but why not tell me that the woman challenging me was your ex?" I said

"She wasn't my ex. Just someone I had sex with. She meant nothing to me, and I don't know why she challenged you. When I told her about finding you and cutting everything off, she seemed fine with it. I promise we never had a relationship." I could feel from the bond he was telling the truth, which made me feel a little better.

"You should have told me before I got in the ring with her. I thought she didn't like me because I was human. Not because she wanted you for herself," I replied

"I know, Angel. I didn't want you to become upset before the fight. I planned on telling you everything after you won the fight," Landon said. I knew he was telling the truth because of the bond. It made me even more, happier that we finally marked each other.

"Now, can we finish the Luna Ceremony and crown you as our Luna," Brandon asked.

"Yes," I replied, and we walked back into the fighting ring.

"Now that you, Ariel Grey, have won the challenge, do you still accept your place by my and Alpha Landon's side as the Luna of the Crescent Pack?" Brandon asked

"I do," I replied. Then, Brandon and Landon cut the palm of their hands with a dagger.

"Let me see your hand," Brandon said, and I lifted my hand for him to take. He took the dagger and cut a small cut into my hand and added my blood to theirs that was in a cup. Brandon and Landon took a sip from the cup and handed it to me. I took the cup and took a sip of the liquid that had a bitter taste to it.

Brandon placed his hand in one of mine while Landon placed his in the other, and we walked to the middle of the ring. "It is our pleasure to introduce everyone in the Crescent Moon Pack to our Mate and Luna Ariel Grey," Brandon and Landon said at the same time. Cheers were heard from all the Pack Members. I could hear congratulations in my mind from Pack Members wanting to congratulate me for becoming their official Luna.

"We will be having a cookout in the backyard, and tonight we will run as a Pack to welcome our new Luna," Brandon said, and everyone cheered louder before they headed to the Packhouse.

"Alpha Brandon and Alpha Landon, we need to talk to you and your Luna about what has happened today." Two of the council members walked over to us.

"What do we need to talk about?" Brandon asked

"The fact that your Mate isn't a human but a supernatural creature, and you have been keeping that away from us."

"She is not a werewolf, so we didn't have to tell you anything. Besides, we only found out about a month ago," Landon said

"You still should have told us."

"Look, I am sick and tired of you coming to my Pack. We did not break the law by not telling you about her being a witch. If you look over werewolf laws, there is nowhere in there that claims we needed to tell you that our Mate was a witch. Now if you excuse us, we are going to go celebrate our Mate finally becoming the Luna of the Pack with our Pack Members," Brandon said, and Brandon, Landon, and I stood from our seats to leave the room.

"There is one more thing we need to talk to you about."

"What is that," Brandon asked with a sigh.

"What do you plan on doing with the she-wolf that challenged your Mate once she recovers from her injuries? In the rules, you have to tell us what her fate will be."

"Angel, what do you want us to do with Tara?" Landon asked

"She can stay in the Pack. She has already lost the challenge, but I don't want her living in the Packhouse anymore," I replied

"Are you sure you don't want to kick her out of the Pack?" Landon asked

"No. Tara can stay in the Pack. She is the best female warrior, so she is of value to us. As long as she stays away from me and you," I said, pointing at Landon. "She can stay," I finished.

"Okay," Brandon said and turned to look at the Council Members. "You heard what our Luna said. Now I would like for the two of you to leave," Brandon said.

The Council Members stood up and began walking to the door. One of them turned and looked at me.

"We will be watching you."
