Chapter 82 “Why does Michelle get to marry every man I love?
For her entire life, Sienna believed Sebastian was just a regular guy. He had a nice car and a fancy apartment, but plenty of ordinary men had those things.

Besides, Sebastian himself said he was just someone who worked in an office. He was not like Caspian, who owned a company and lived in a giant house. Everyone in the city knew Caspian’s name; he was the billionaire every woman talked about.

Caspian was the prize. His face alone could make a woman lose her mind. Sebastian was handsome, sure, but Caspian was in another league. He had that dangerous, untouchable look, and women craved to be the one person he let inside his walls.

Michelle let out a cold laugh. “Looks like you were too busy chasing the prince to notice the king. Sebastian’s father is the man who helped me. Knowing him let me build my business, but what I have is nothing next to what Sebastian owns. Were you not paying attention?”

Her mocking words sent a deep, cold shock through Sienna. If she had known Sebastian was that rich, that powerful, she never would have wasted her time chasing Caspian, not after he married Michelle.

She would have dropped Caspian in a second. But now, all her anger turned on Sebastian. “You tricked me,” she spat. “You told me you were just some office worker.”

Sebastian scoffed, his mouth twisting with something like hate. “I gave you everything you ever asked for. Was that not a big enough clue?”

He had never denied her a single request. “Do you have any idea what that ring I offered you was worth?” he asked, the memory raw. “You threw it back at me without a second look. I was going to tell you everything at the hospital. I wanted to tell you after you said yes to marrying me. When you were having my baby, I thought there were no more secrets between us. I just wanted us to be a family.”

In that moment, Sebastian seemed even more broken than Caspian. “I should thank the person who caused my accident. It saved me from marrying a greedy whore,” he said, his voice thick with disgust.

Sienna felt shame burn her face. All this time, she thought only Caspian could save her father’s failing company, so she threw Sebastian away. How could she ever take that back?

After a pause, she pointed a shaking finger at him. “This is your fault! You should have told me who you really were from the start.”

Sebastian’s laugh was hollow and bitter. It was killing him to realize Sienna was exactly the woman Caspian had warned him about. Seeing her now, every good feeling he ever had for her just died. “Did my name matter? You left me. You walked out of my hospital room when I was a body in a bed with no mind.”

He wished he had never met her. “Because of you, I divorced Michelle the second I could think again. I was scared of making you angry.”

“You were married to Michelle?” Sienna asked. The loss inside her grew, sharp and horrible. Michelle had managed to marry both of the men she had ever wanted.

What kind of cruel joke was this? Sienna herself had never gotten a ring from either one.

“It was a business arrangement,” Sebastian said. He knew now that if he had stayed in that marriage, he might have had a chance to win Michelle over. They had shared a home, a bed. She took care of him, called his doctors, watched over him. She was paid to do it, but she did it with a kindness that was real.

“That is what they all say,” Sienna sneered, her voice ugly. “Was not Caspian’s marriage also a contract? And she still got pregnant. How do I know she does not have a child for you, too?” The question made Caspian go very still.

The idea wounded Sebastian deeply. If, by some chance, something had happened between him and Michelle and she had his child… it would have been a blessing. But now, Caspian was the one who had that with her.

“Because of you, we never got the chance to know each other. She was there for every single therapy session. And I let her go the day I could stand on my own, so I could look for a lying, cheating bitch who did not deserve me.” Sebastian did not hold back.

“Why does Michelle get to marry every man I love?” Sienna’s words were sour with jealousy and hate.

It was obvious both men still cared for Michelle. Sebastian could not hold his rage any longer. His fist came down on the table with a bang. Sienna jumped, terrified, as he shouted.

“Fuck you, Sienna! You never loved me. You are the one who said no to marrying me, always saying you were not ready. All because you were following Caspian around like a dog. Was it just the two of us, or were there others?”

Sienna could not accept this. The loss was too big, too painful. Her father’s company was almost gone, and now she was losing both Caspian and Sebastian. “It was just you,” she said, her voice desperate, forgetting she had not been a virgin the first time she was with him. “You are the only one I have been with.”

“Sebastian, please,” she cried, trying to sound pitiful. “I just want to see my daughter.”
