Kicking Her Out Of The House

Alexa looked at the people in the coffee shop, and she was beyond surprised to see that she was the only one clueless about Jason's identity.

She was the only one shocked about the information, and she wondered why those tiny details escaped her.

"Is it true?" Alexa asked, yet again not believing what she just heard because she was surprised that the man could do things like that to her.

She was the only one who didn't know!

Alexa was quick to clear out the thick awkwardness in the coffee shop as she burst into laughter, and the others joined.

They all joked about Jason's pettiness, and after a while, they all departed to the various homes.

Alexa apologized to Jason's father for not recognizing early, and she also made a mental note to watch the business news and the man laughed at her wittiness.

Alexa left the coffee shop with a heavy heart, but she was happy that she didn't mess up more than that.

Jason walked behind Alexa to the bus station without approaching her to talk..he just followed behind her quietly.

"Did you have anything you wanted to say?" Alexa asked, after getting bored of Jason walking behind her.

"If I say anything, are you going to listen?" Jason asked, and Alexa scoffed hearing his words.

"What? Are you even asking me that?" Alexa asked, turning around to look at the man and she chuckled.

"Maybe I wasn't going to listen, I bet that is why you decided to fool me all this while," Alexa says, and she resumes walking, but this time she doesn't care if Jason is walking behind her or not.

"You say you are not angry, but why is it that your tone and…" Jason was saying, but Alexa's steps halted immediately and she faced the man.

"I know this might look fun to you…maybe it would have probably been fun to me if I was not the only fool, but since it is like that I do not want to banter words with…" Alexa was saying, but she trailed off.

"I would not want to offend my boss so I think that is it," Alexa said through gritted teeth, and she waited for the bus, treating Jason like air that doesn't exist.

"Why are you so angry?" Jason asked, and Alexa chuckled at the question.

"I am not angry sir, I am just concerned if you should really play your worker this way," Alexa says, and Jason sighs.

"I am sure there is something else you are mad at, tell me. Is there something you want from me?" Jason asked, and he was surprised wondering why their argument was heading that way.

Alexa smiled bitterly at how Jason was trying to tame his rich heir's side, and she wondered how hard it must have been for him to act that way before.

Alexa was angry at the man before, but her anger dissipated when she thought of how it must have been hard on him to put on the act.

"It must have been hard on you," Alexa says. "What did you mean? I mean it must have been hard on you for you to act…" Alexa was saying, but she stopped when she saw the bus coming.

"Bye, I have to leave," Alexa says moving towards the bus, and Jason panicked fearing that the lady might hate him if she doesn't hear his side of the story.

"Alexa..hear me out.. Alexa!" Jason yelled, after Alexa as she entered the bus.

Alexa got on the bus not listening to Jason's argument, and she decided to keep off away from the man from henceforth.

Alexa entered the house and her steps skipped when she saw Maurice and Penelope talking, and she suddenly felt uncomfortable seeing that.

Maurice also raised his head maybe seeing that someone just walked in and his eyes turned tender beholding Alexa who was fuming in anger

"Hubby!" Alexa called hurrying her steps towards Maurice, and she wanted to get close but Penelope obstructed her with her body.

"Oh, you are back!" She says hugging Alexa, and the girl is confused because she is sure she doesn't have that kind of relationship with Penelope, but she plays along not wanting to look saucy to Maurice.

The two disengaged from the hug sharing a fake smile and Alexa wondered what was playing on.

"You see, we get along so I do not think you need to worry," Penelope says, turning to look at Maurice who has his gaze fixated on Alexa.

"What is she talking about?" Alexa asks Maurice, but Penelope replies instantly.

"Maurice is talking about moving me to another place because my presence might upset you, but I said that's not true.. or does it upset you?" Penelope asked, and Alexa scoffed hearing her words.

'She is asking me to shoot myself in the leg…it's definitely a trap, but why did I want to get entrapped so badly' Alexa thought.

"I don't think we have a problem, but if you also think that's a good idea…I don't see a reason not to move her to another house..it's for her convenience," Alexa says, and she smirks at the lady.

She was not going to act nice, but she didn't have to go all out too.

Penelope's expression was ghastly hearing Alexa's words, and she gave her a disgusting look.

"I think I should.. " Maurice was saying, but his phone blares up with a call and he picks it up, excusing himself from the girls.

"Don't you want me here, Alexa?" Penelope asked, looking at Maurice, who was on a call.

"I never said that…I just say that you are better off living.." Penelope was saying, but she stopped seeing Maurice walking towards them.

"I think I have to go out now, Benson wants to see me for something," Maurice says, and he asks Alexa not to wait for him, but Alexa insists otherwise.

Maurice left the house after assuring Alexa that he would be back before bedtime, and Alexa felt a feeling of kiss watching him leave.

"He is the perfect gentleman, right?" Penelope asked, looking at Maurice's retreating, and Alexa turned to look at him.

She was tempted to ask the girl what relationship she had with Maurice, but she decided not to waste her breath because she was very sure that the lady was not going to tell her.

Even though she looks gentle, Alexa could tell that she was cunning and she has something up her sleeve.

"Are you leaving too?" Penelope asked, looking at Alexa that had turned from her and was about to go upstairs.

"Yeah…did you have something you wanted to say?" Alexa asked, knowing even though she didn't like the girl she had to tolerate her so that she didn't look like the nasty one.

"When are you packing?" Penelope asked, with a smile on her face, and Alexa was confused.

"What are you saying?" Alexa asked, looking at the girl that has a smug look on her face like she had just worn a ticket to a lottery.

"Yes, you heard me right, I am going to kick you out if you are here, and you can watch me do that," she says, and Alexa was tongue-tied hearing her words.

'What? She planned on kicking me out, but how is that?'...
