CHAPTER 20: A friend

I didn't wait for the run to rise fully in the morning, I took my bath and went to Kiara's room, I didn't want Melvin or Elvis to see me that is why I decided to go early. I knocked several times before she opened the door, she was still in her pajamas.

"I didn't know you would come this early" she told me as we walked into her room fully.

"I don't want them to see me come here" I answered

"I knew there was something wrong, and we weren't obliged to tell me, so I used my tricks, wait a little, let me take my bath" she said and entered the bathroom. I waited Patiently for her, and she came in already dressed. She sat beside me

"So…."

"I went to see Elvis, and he asked me to help him kill Melvin" I went straight to the point

"Kill Melvin!!" She yelled and I covered her mouth before nodding

"I didn't agree to it and inquired why he wanted to kill his own brother, all he was saying was that, Melvin killed her and he wanted to revenge her death" I explained

"Her? That is a girl, I think she is the one whose picture is in Elvis room, he has always respected that picture, she should also be the one Elvis told us would be his wife when we all were still growing" Kiara kept thinking as to bring back old memories.

"When I didn't agree, be fought hard with me, that was how I got this injuries" I pointed to my face

"But suddenly Melvin came into the scene, they were saying something but I was to weak to hear it"

"I told Melvin that you were with Elvis, and he ran off immediately. I should have told him immediately he asked me, if I had you wouldn't have gotten all this bruises'' she sadly said, but I was really grateful to her

"If he had come earlier, I would not have known all of this,we still need to know more about everything" I told her

"You don't need to go close to Elvis anymore,I will take up his case from here, why you face Melvin" it sounded like a command to me and I smiled

"Elvis already asked for my forgiveness, he said he wasn't himself then, and i think I can now ask him questions concerning his past without fear, cause he knows I know a little about it"

"Are you sure it would be safe with him?" she asked

"Even though I'm not an alpha or Beta, I can still save myself with my Omega skills' ' I smiled at her. She looked at me intensely and frowned her face

"Why the sudden change of Expression?" I asked her

"Why did you let that love witch Take Melvin as her date?"

"That!!"

"I don't want him to feel that I am longing for him, he thinks that I'm obsessed with him, but I don't want it that way, I want to show him that I can also live without her and flirt with anyone"

"You want to flirt with Elvis tonight, I can help you with your dress and make up" she said and I laughed. I have already forgotten that tonight was the party and I would see Kelly, mom and dad tonight too

"I just want to be the simple me" I answered

"Not when I'm alive, I am going to make you look gorgeous, Melvin would regret making that love witch his date, after I'm done with you tonight"

"That's not necessary Kiara!!"

"It is!! Do you want your parents to feel like I'm not doing my job as a sister in law.. no way!! I would make them feel proud of me. now you have to follow me so we will go see how the decorations are going" she dragged me up and headed Way towards the big throne hall where the party would be held.

We walked around the hall, my hands behind my back as I watched Kiara give instructions to the maids that were decorating the hall.

"Place the black Veil on the green one to make it more beautiful" Kiara commanded.

"I think it's better if you place it on the dining table over there!" I pointed my hands towards the table

"Don't you think black is too dull for a dining table?" She asked, I thought for a minute and she was right, it would actually be dull

"You are right!" I smiled and she nodded

"Let me check the rest that are taking care of the hall" I told her and left, I headed to the hall and I came across Diana, I wasn't in the mood for her so I passed her without looking or talking to her.

"Thank you for letting Melvin be my date tonight" I heard her voice and I turned. She was grateful but it didn't come from her heart, because she had a smirk on her face

"You are welcome Miss, I gave him to you because I don't need him, he isn't someone is should go out on a date with, I hate his face" I told her just to make her more angry

"He is more better than Elvis"

"Better? That isn't right, he is worst than Elvis, he doesn't have Elvis cute face, awesome smiles, lovely muscle body, golden heart and many more, I don't want to live in a dark with the dark" I annoyed her the more

"As far as I have him, I don't mind what you say" she angrily left, I breathed heavily before turning around, I saw someone's shadow leave by a corner, but I didn't know who it was, not minding about it, I took haste to were I was heading to.
