"Did you see him?" His aunt dictated.
"Why is brother acting weird lately?" With a baffled look on her face, Elena asked.
Leonid barged into Elvira's room and shut the door loudly.
"Are you going to be single forever just for the pervert who sleeps with everyone?" He raged.
Elvira shed tears instead of answering.
Frustrated with her stubbornness, Leonid went over near her and growled, "Do you still want that two-faced jerk?"
"What if you framed your mother to seduce him just because you wanted to make me believe he is a bad guy?" With a sobbing voice, she questioned back at him.
His tension peaked.
A harsh slap landed on her cheek, earning her tears like streaming.
With those eyes streaming eyes, he looked at him.
"You are going blind for his love, Elvira! Behave yourself!" With a scowl, he voiced strict.
She snivelled, tears blowing down her cheek. In front of his angry-looking face, she went chock.
She looked away with a sigh.
He twisted his jaw, annoyed. Then he lifted her chin up and made her meet his furious eyes before exhorting, "Come out of your 16-year-old mentality first! Not everyone is as good as what you look. Adults words are vehements filled cage. You should take action to escape this world instead of despise what you deserve."
As she appeared to take his words into her heart, he walked off the room.
Leonid came back to the living room, picked up the wedding card that had been in the Elvira's hand earlier, and left the house as Lev comforted the crestfallen grandfather.
Lev's stare turned into mystery-filled fury looking at how confidently Leonid walking with the wedding card. He stood up and went upstairs to his room immediately.
Inside Elvira's room,
"Come out of your 16-year-old mentality first!"
Leonid's harsh warning reverbeated in her mind. Her eyes widened in shock shortly.
"16-year-old?" She mumbled as if she doubted Leonid should know something about the time travel.
She leaves the room instantly. When she was about to pass the kitchen to reach the exit, she glimpsed the maid dropping a tablet in Elvira's drinking glass.
She halted right away and veered to them. "What did you put inside just now?" She went towards them, eyeing the drinking glass as that maid looked here and there, forgetting to hide the tablet cover.
Elvira plucked the tablet cover from that maid and read it cautiously. Soon after that, she gave a sharp look into that terrified maid, who was trying to find the excuse to distract her.
"Who told you about this?" She frowned, showing that the tablet, which will cure sexual disorders,.
"Uhm..." That maid trailed deliberately and was also scared to tell the truth.
"Who?" Elvira shouted.
"Young master, madam! Young master, Leonid asked us to mix this with every breakfast and dinner." That maid spilt the truth instantly.
"Leonid?" Elvira was extremely conflicted.
As she combined his recent weird attitude, mentioning her year of mentality, about the tablet, and the warning about Lev's true self, and more importantly, his sudden love towards her, she acknowledged that Leonid knew something about her secret.
She immediately rushed outside. Unfortunately, his car left already.
In Lev's room, Lev took the photo frame of Elvira kissing him, and he glanced at the Leonid, who was standing aside with a light smile. Thereafter, he pressed Leonid's face vehemently, "You crossed your limit!"
Elvira ran out, expecting she could stop the car. She chased after the car, shouting, "Leonid!!"
A cat came across his car, causing him to put the brakes on suddenly, and it ran away.
Elvira ran fast and reached his car before he geared up to leave.
"Leonid?!" She was breathless. Gripping the car door's handle, she gasped for air.
Confused, Leonid pulled down the window glass and glanced at her heavily breathing face.
"What?" He asked rudely.
Yet she didn't finish taking her breath.
He rolled his eyes aside and sighed hopelessly.
Thereafter, she queried, "Are you from the future too?"
Leonid looked into her curious eyes quietly instead of responding.
"Speak!" She seriously spoke.
Leonid got off the car and came to her. "Did you get hurt anywhere?" He checked her head teasingly.
She nodded his hand, gasped, and questioned, "How do you know about my sexual disorder?"
Leonid opened his mouth to answer, but the loud horn sound from behind startled them.
Frightened, Elvira found asylum in his chest. His hands automatically hugged her to protect her.
Both transmitted back to their past, where Elvira was 17- years -old and Leonid was 19- years -old.
Elvira watched the same cat crossing her while she was standing with her parents in front of the shopping mall.
As that cat turned the junction, Leonid came and ran from there.
"Don't get in, Elvira!"
"Uncle! Aunty!"
He shouted, coming running in the distance.
Three of them got a glimpse of him only, his warning wasn't audible to them.
As Elvira blankly stared at Leonid's fluttered-filled face coming to her, her mother eyed at her husband and pushed him towards the car, which was waiting for them to pick up.
Her father questionably raised his eyebrow at her.
"Let's them have some time; get in! Get in! Fast!" Her mother rushed him to get in the car; she couldn't hear Leonid's warning.
Elvira stood right there, not even knowing what was happening. In front of her eyes, she could only see Leonid. She even forgets her parents already got in the car.
"Come out, aunty!"
His shout fell in her ear, escorting her eye to see her parents, which were Leonid's fluttering reaction going.
"Mother?" Elvira stunned. Unconsciously lifted her feet to step forward since she had missed her mother for a long time because of the time travel.
Before her feet touched down the ground, the car blasted right in front of her eyes. Timely, Leonid arms embraced her. He covered her from getting hurt by that car's blasted parts, which were scattering around.
She couldn't even take her dilated eyes off of watching the car burn with her parents inside. Because of the sudden blast, her ears became dead for a moment. Despite that, she could sniff Leonid's sweaty shirt.
The last falling object of the car hit his back and slided down to the floor.
Only after everything had fallen on the floor, he released her from his embrace. He guiltily looked back at the firing car as Elvira slowly rolled her brimming eyes to Leonid.
He turned to look at her. Unfortunately, a sharp leap of knife from a masked guy earned his attention. It was too late; he almost got pierced by that knife, but he grasped it with his bare hand without even thinking twice.
Blood gushing out his fair hand. Elvira glazed down at his hand once after seeing a drop of tears spill down at her thigh.
Soon after witnessing his bloody hand, Elvira flustered, "Leonid!"
Leonid gasped and kicked that man's knee, causing him to kiss the floor. He then held the knife quickly and stood up, leaving Elvira.
Five members of masked men surrounded them as the passersby scattered and ran away.
