I rested my head Lia's shoulder as we both looked at the small creature who slept peacefully between her mother’s arms.

The peaceful silence stopped when the door flew open and the whole squad barged in.

"SHHH" me, Lia, Mom, Liam, Nate And dad who came minutes before said.

"dickheads!!" I said as sky started to cry.

"sorry" they all mumbled.

I took sky from Lia's arms and told her that I'll take her back as she nodded.

She placed a kiss to her hands "I love you" she said as everyone ran to hug Lia.

"I missed you!" Laura said.

I moved sky till she fell asleep again.

"Dad" I said as he approached me and took a hold of Skylar, he handed her to Liam.

"I can walk" I said.

"The crutches Shawn!" Dad said handing it to me.

We walked out the room and no one noticed because they were too busy with Lia.

"you both are grandfathers can you believe this?" I asked.

"never in a million years" Liam said as he shook his head.

"I'm sure this monkey over here, will be spoiled" dad said as we laughed.

"SHAWN!" I was stopped when I heard Liylah yell.

"DAD!" Max yelled hugging his father’s legs.

We all turned as Ava and Aaliyah ran to us.

"Thank god you are okay! I was so worried!!" Liylah said hugging me.

"we were so scared Shawn!" Ava said.

"Look who's here" I said as I pointed to sky.

"she's tiny!" Ava said.

"she is, she's sleeping so stay quiet" Jai said.

"you both are aunts now" dad said.

"She has Lia's features" Aaliyah said as I nodded.

"Where's my sister?" Ava asked.

"You guys can see her but just wait" Liam said.

"hey max" I said.

"Hi" he said.

"do you see the baby over there? She is your niece" I said.

"Cute" he said as everyone chuckled.

"Jai your sister is inside you go see her" Liam said as they nodded before we completed our way.

We reached there and Liam put her into her bed.

"I love her so much already" dad said kissing her knuckles.

"Thank god we didn't lose anyone, I'm really glad you all are here" Liam said putting a hand on my shoulders.

"I knew nothing was going to happen to Lia, but I was really scared about losing my baby, she was just 7 months pregnant" I said.

"It's a miracle, look at her, her health is good which even the doctor can't believe it" dad said.

"I'm glad both of them are safe" I said kissing the top of her head.

a nurse entered "you guys are here, is she sleeping?”

We nodded.

"when she wakes up, she'll have a vaccination, I'll tell you guys" she said as we thanked her and got out.

"so, Shawn" Liam said.

"What?”

"When are you going to ask my girl to be your wife?" Liam said as I got uncomfortable.

"Liam is right it's time for things to happen" dad said.

"I will, don't worry" I said.

I entered Lia's room and the place was full,.

"Matt! Who sits in front of the door?!" Dad said.

"Sorry Manny!" Matt said moving.

I walked to Lia carefully with the crunches and she looked at me.

"I've never been this tired before" I said as she made place for me on the bed, and I laid beside her.

She rested her head on my chest "is she sleeping?”

"Yeah, it's time you sleep too" I said.

"what the hell, why suddenly you all are quiet?" She said.

"we missed you guys" Stassi said.

"what are you gonna do know with touring?" Gilinsky asked as I could feel Lia tense beside me.

I intertwined her hands with mine and kissed the top of her palm.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying here" I said looking at Lia as she smiled "I'll be postponing the tour till months later, at least when Skylar will grow up, I want to be here, I have a family to take care of".

"I love you" Lia whispered as I kissed the top of her head.

"We'll miss you guys" Madison said.

" I'll miss everyone” I said.

we stayed talking before the guys said their goodbyes because they were going back.

"take pictures of sky and send them in the group!" Clauds yelled as the door closed.

"I'm so tired" Lia said.

"Yeah it's been a long day," Laura said.

"Girls let's go have some coffee, guys, you too" Liam said as they all walked out.

Me, Laura, Lia, and mom stayed in.

"I really m—" Laura was stopped when the room door opened, and a nurse stepped in with sky in her bed.

"Skylar is going to have her vaccination now" he said.

"hey mommy's girl!" Lia said as they put sky on the other bed which supposed to be mine.

"can I see her?" Lia said as she tried to move.

"Nope, no, stay in your place" I said.

sky started crying as my heart ached and I started looking around the room.

"Can she not take this?" I asked.

"She's has too".

"She'll be okay Shawn" Laura said.

"did she finish?" I asked looking anywhere but to my baby.

"Shawn!” Laura said as sky cried.

I held Skylar hand and looked to Lia and kept looking at her.

"Shhh baby, you'll be alright" I said.

"And that's it!" The nurse said as I let a long sigh.

"I didn't know you were that scared Shawn" Lia said as I rolled my eyes.

As soon as the nurse placed the bandage, I took hold of her.

"my tiny little beautiful princess" I whispered looking at her.

"Shh baby" I said as she stopped crying and soon fell asleep.

"Great job Melendez" Lia said as I chuckled before going slowly and placing her into Lia's arms.
