"Oh god" I said as I looked at the tiny baby who laid on it.

She had some wires sticked around her body.

I went toward her and stared at her.

"she's tiny!" I said.

"She is, she still hasn't fully grown, it's a miracle that she's in a good state right now" the nurse said.

"Why there is wires?" I asked.

"don't be scared, it's just that she's small and we're just making sure everything is okay" she said.

"Dad, look she's so tiny," Jai said.

"she is" Liam said.

"Can he hold her?" Mom asked.

"Yeah he can, but slowly" nurse said.

"Who? Me?" I asked.

"Yeah" mom nodded.

"No!" I said "no! She's small! No one will hold her!" I said.

"Sir, we know you're scared but she's has not been able to be in her mothers' arms, and not her father too" the nurse said, "and I'm here to help you, no worries".

"I never held a baby before" I said.

"Shawn, you'll be okay" dad said.

The nurse pulled her up and she stood next to be.

"Put your hands up" she said.

"Okay? no I can't!" I said.

"Shawn stop being such a baby and hold your daughter" Liam said as the nurse put the baby in my hands.

"Just like this" she said.

"Oh, my heart" I said as everyone laughed, and I saw Nate taking a video of us.

"hello baby girl, remember me? I'm your daddy, your mom is a bit busy right now, but she'll be here soon hopefully, you're a bit tiny, maybe not a bit, that you made me scared, you know baby? You're beautiful just as your mother, you're beautiful baby" I said kissing her forehead.

"I promise you baby girl, I'll always be here for you, in your good days and in your bad days, I'll always be here to protect you. Daddy loves you so much, your mommy also loves you and I'm sure she can't wait to see you" I said as tears fell.

"let me put her back" the nurse said as she took her from me and wiped my tears, I looked at my family to see Liam and mom crying and then I turned to the window to see the girls crying.

I motioned to them to come inside as they all rushed in.

Everyone congratulated me and then went to look at the baby.

"My poor little girl, look at her" Amanda said.

"Shawn that was really cute, I was about to cry" Gilinsky said as I gave him a smile.

"G, can you take me to Lia?" I whispered.

He nodded As I got out, but I saw Matt following us.

"I wanna see her" Matt said as I nodded.

"excuse me, can I see Amelia Johns?" I asked.

"Yeah I was already going to tell you, she'll now be switched to her room, so everyone needs to gets out, you all should stay in the waiting room please" the nurse said.

"Can I stay?" I asked.

"it's not allowed but I'm gonna let you, only him, no one else" he said.

"Thanks man! I really appreciate it" I said.

"It's nothing man, let's just get everyone outside.

As we went to the room, everyone got out.

I stood up from the wheelchair and started at my baby.

"We'll take her, if you wanna see her, just ask the reception for the place" the nurse said.

"Baby girl, daddy is a bit busy right now, but he'll come see you very soon, I love you" I said kissing her tiny hands.

"Bye, before I go, her mother will be alright, don't worry, soon you both will holding this beautiful girl in your hands" she said as I gave her a smile.

"Guys thank you so much but, you guys should rest" I said.

"You're the one who should rest" Sam said.

"It's okay, I just need Lia to be okay, then I'll be okay" I said.

"She will," Amanda said.

"You guys can go home" I said.

"I'm staying here" Liam said.

"Me too" Nate said.

"Me, Liam, Nate And Jai are staying" mom said.

"I need to go home to look after the kids" Manny said "Amanda I need the location, or we could go together" Amanda nodded.

"Actually, Lia would've wanted me to look after max, I’ll come with you guys" Jai said "Keep me updated please".

"We will, we'll keep everyone" Nate said.

After everyone said their goodbyes and left, I was able to go see Lia.

Liam opened the door room, and I moved the wheelchair inside and reached her.

She laid peacefully on the bed, with machines everywhere while she was pale.

my heart ached and immediately tears fell.

"Lia, baby, we have a baby girl, she's so tiny, I'm being serious, so tiny, she'll have to stay here for a while but she's fine. Please come back baby, I miss you, I need you Lia, please you need to be alright for both of us, for me and for your baby girl, please Lia" I whispered before the door opened and Shawn entered.

"why the hell aren't you in your bed Melendez?" The doctor crosses his arms and looks at me as I gave him a smile.

"look I'm sorry doc, I’m not staying and will not stay in my bed, I'll stay here" I said.

"Shawn, baby, you have to rest too" mom said.

"Your Mom is right Shawn" Liam said.

"I'm sorry but no" I said.

"Shawn" the doctor said.

"Look doctor we all know that if I went to my room I'll be back in half an hour so what are you doing is useless" I said.

"nurse, grab a bed here for Shawn, he's sharing this room" the doctor yelled.

"What?!! Really!" I said.

"Yeah but you'll stay in your bed" he said.

"Thank you so much!!!!!" I said happily "this means so much! Thank you" I said.

"you just have to rest” he said.
