Chapter 9 her bottled up rage
No one’s P.O.V.
Alfred was baffled by Anaya’s attack on him. He was having a hard time believing that his own daughter was now beating him mercilessly for her stepmother.
With two punches in a row, Anaya left him breathless, and the pain in his ribs made him realize that he had broken ribs at that place.
Anaya was like an angry alpha wolf on a rampage. She didn’t let Alfred get his senses back. She punched at the same spot continuously while digging her claws inside his nape, keeping him at the same spot.
She felt her blood boiling inside her veins, ready to burst out at any time.
“How dare you lay your hands on her, Alfred? She is your mate. You killed my mom for her. You destroyed our lives to bring Winnie to your life. You destroyed everyone’s life, Alfred. How could you do this to us? Who gave you the right to play with our lives?” She roared while punching him mercilessly.
Winnie’s eyes were widened like a soccer ball in terror.
She knew that her stepdaughter loved her, but the way Anaya was fighting for her brought tears to her eyes.
Behind them, Riley was glued to her spot, too scared to even move a muscle while watching her father beaten so cruelly by Anaya.
Anaya kicked him hard in the stomach, releasing his nape at the same time.
Alfred screamed in pain while his body flew away. Winnie immediately moved away from her spot to avoid the collision with Alfred’s flying body.
Alfred was looking at Anaya in shock, disbelief, and hurt.
The pain in his upper body was so intense that he couldn’t breathe, but he didn’t let his body hit the wall at a good distance from them.
He was also a trained warrior. He flipped his body, suppressing the pain, and landed on the ground on his feet, placing his hands on the floor in front of him.
He growled aloud in a fit of rage, calling warriors inside to stop Anaya, but to his shock, Anaya was in front of him in the blink of an eye.
She was at a good distance from him.
As a werewolf, he knew that it’s not possible for a human to run this faster.
Anaya raised a sidekick to kick Alfred in his face, but he held her ankle before her foot could touch his face.
He growled and swung his hand to throw Anaya away, but Anaya used his grip on her ankle as a cushion and leaped a little in the air to kick him with her other foot.
Alfred couldn’t anticipate her next move and screamed in pain again when she kicked him in the face.
He released her ankle in pain as his body collapsed on the opposite side. She punched right over his head this time while landing on the floor.
“Anaya, stop. You will kill him.” Winnie screamed in fear when she registered how brutal and fast Anaya was in her attacks.
“He has no right to live anymore.” Anaya roared back while kicking Alfred again.
Alfred grunted in pain but grabbed Anaya’s fist before it connected to his face again.
He didn’t let her make another move this time and swiped his feet to make her stumble.
Anaya anticipated this move from him and did a somersault, moving her feet up in the air before Alfred’s feet could touch her, and yanked her fist out of his grip at the same time, but he didn’t let her fist go.
He pulled him towards him, raising a punch to punch her on the chest, but Anaya changed the direction of her falling body and raised a round kick towards Alfred.
Alfred blocked the kick, hitting her shin in the process. The force was brutal, and the hit sent a jolt of pain through Anaya’s leg, but all the bottled-up anger, hatred, and resentment towards her father was more than that.
She ignored the pain and launched her next attack.
Four guards stationed outside the pack house rushed in the house after getting mind-links from both Alfred and Riley at the same time, but they were stunned by the scene in front of them.
All those guards were young, older than Anaya.
So, they all know Anaya.
They stopped at a good distance and looked up as if Anaya and Alfred were fighting on the third floor.
Anaya flipped her body while grabbing Alfred’s arm over her shoulder, grabbing his hand after opening her fist.
Alfred’s eyes widened in shock when he realized what Anaya was intending to do.
Anaya used all her strength to flip Alfred over her shoulder and threw him a little away from her.
“Anaya.” Winnie screamed in horror when she realized where Alfred's body was going.
“Dad.” Riley also screamed in horror at the same time.
Alfred’s body flew over the railing. All the guards rushed forward to catch his falling body.
Anaya leaped behind Alfred, raising her right fist high behind her ear, and punched into Alfred’s face in midair, but Alfred caught her fist while falling down.
He threw Anaya’s body behind him, making her fall facing the ground.
But Anaya curled her body while spinning it and landed on her feet, her right palm pressed on the floor, but it also made her hop forward like a leopard pouncing on its prey.
Alfred also did the same thing, and both Alfred and Anaya leaped in each other’s direction, raising their fists to punch their opponent.
None of them noticed a strange presence at the entrance of the pack house. He entered the pack house behind the guards when Anaya threw Alfred down from the third floor and then leaped down right after him.
The right corner of his mouth curled up in amusement while watching Anaya fighting a fully grown, experienced, and skilled alpha without shedding a bead of sweat.
Jacob and one more he-wolf were standing behind that dominating presence with different expressions on their faces.
Jacob was in disbelief, watching Alfred and Anaya fighting so brutally.
Anaya twisted her upper body in the air, dodging Alfred’s attack, lowering her body a little, and aiming her fist at his stomach.
Alfred howled in pain when she punched his stomach hard before moving past him and landing on her feet this time.
Her shin, where Alfred had hit her before, was throbbing, but this pain was nothing in front of her rage.
She was about to spin on her feet when she sensed a strong and domineering presence near her.
She snapped her head in that direction but froze the next second as soon as her dark brown eyes, filled with so much rage that they could burn the whole world, met with a pair of cold and deep amber eyes.
She felt as if someone had knocked all the air out of her lungs. She couldn't breathe. The person narrowed his eyes when he noticed Alfred's movement behind that petite woman, who was like a wounded alpha wolf a while ago but was now looking at him as if she had seen a ghost.
