Chapter 14 she is fierce
No One’s P.O.V.
Anaya didn’t want to believe what she was experiencing, but it was a damn cruel truth to her.
She felt as if someone had knocked all the air out of her chest, but the scene that appeared in front of her eyes shook her to the core.
“Touch her and see if you can go out alive.” She roared at the top of her lungs.
Lucifer, who was standing tall in the middle of the city square, felt a pleasurable shudder in his body when he heard that dominating roar.
Beast growled aloud in dominance, but he couldn’t deny that the power of dominance was equivalent to his own strength.
Anaya leaped high in the air, roaring aloud, commanding everyone around her to submit to her.
All the people present there, including the ones from Lucifer’s pack, were forced by her command that they all show their necks in her direction.
Even Theo wasn’t an exception.
Only Lucifer was the one who was still standing tall in the middle of everyone.
Anaya landed outside the circle and took out her guns, aiming them at Lucifer.
“Let her go, Lucifer. Your grudge is with Alfred. Deal with him however you want, but let her go.” Anaya roared while walking towards Lucifer in long strides.
Every step that she took in Lucifer was like a thump on everyone’s heart.
She wasn’t walking in a fit of rage, but she was asserting her dominance over everyone.
Xander was both impressed and amazed by Anaya’s assertion.
For a human, she was a force to be reckoned with.
Suddenly, he grabbed Winnie’s hair, who was lying on the ground, holding her body on her hands, completely beaten and almost half-dead.
Winnie screamed at the top of her lungs when Lucifer grabbed her hair and pulled her up by her hair.
Anaya stopped in her tracks, shooting daggers at Lucifer through her eyes, her fingers ready to pull the triggers at any time.
Lucifer wrapped her other hand around Winnie's neck from behind, looking at Anaya slyly.
“Pull the trigger, Anaya. See who is faster, my fingers or your bullets.” Lucifer challenged her maliciously, tightening her grip on both Winnie’s hair and her neck, digging her nails inside her neck.
“Anaya.” Winnie called her in a painful voice, tears falling down her eyes automatically.
She was already wounded, and now with the injuries inflicted by Lucifer’s warriors, she was looking more pitiful and broken.
Anaya growled angrily. Her already shattered heart shattered beyond repair when she realized who her mate was.
The face in front of her was familiar to her, but those malicious eyes were strange to her.
“Let her go, Lucifer. It’s Alfred who scammed you and deceived the agreement. Winnie has nothing to do with that.
Theo mind-linked a few of his warriors, and they immediately subdued Jacob and others who were already not in the state to fight.
Anaya immediately shot one of those warriors who accidentally hurt the person whom he grabbed harsher than he should.
Both Lucifer and Theo were startled and stunned by how fast Anaya changed the direction of the gun in her right hand and moved it back to the previous position.
The warrior screamed aloud in pain; the blood flew out of his chest like water pouring out of a broken dam.
Lucifer growled aloud angrily and thrust her nails inside Winnie’s neck.
Winnie screamed in pain, blood coming out of the wounds, but Lucifer didn’t pull his nails out.
“One more down, and this mother of yours will be drop-dead." Lucifer threatened her with a dangerous glint pooling in his gaze.
Anaya laughed aloud coldly, and before Lucifer could understand, she shot another one who was holding Jacob.
The warriors screamed and fell on Jacob, but Jacob pushed him hard, and let that warrior fall to the ground on his back.
The same thing happened to him that happened to the previous warrior.
Lucifer’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
Anaya’s movements were inhumane. A human can’t move this fast.
“Kill her and you will lose any leverage on me, Alpha Lucifer. Think before hurting her more. One more scream out of her mouth and the next will be your beta.” Anaya threatened him with Theo with a malicious smile on her lips.
There was no trace of hesitation or fear in her voice.
Her aura was still as dangerous as it was when she roared for the first time.
Theo was startled by her threat and looked at her with wide eyes in shock.
He didn’t understand whether he should be worried for his life or laugh at her audacity of killing her.
“She is interesting. Does she really think that we are that easy to kill?" Aero, Theo’s wolf, also felt the same way and snarled angrily.
But for some reason, he couldn’t think about hurting Anaya by any means.
“Anaya, pleas…. Please don’t be impulsive.” Winnie pleaded fearfully.
She knew that Anaya was fierce, but she didn’t know that she could be that impulsive.
“Let her go, Lucifer, and we will talk.” Anaya demanded once again in the same angry tone.
Lucifer and Beast were itching to have a fight with her and teach her a lesson for her recklessness and impulsiveness.
But Beast was also enjoying Anaya’s dominance and the way she was showing her fierceness.
He had so many kinds of women in his life that he always thought that no woman could pique his interest, but the human standing in front of her had a completely different charm.
Lucifer slowly moved her face towards Winnie’s neck, from where the blood was seeping under his fingers.
He took a long whiff of blood here, his eyes locked with Anaya’s angry gaze.
Alfred was also lying on the ground in a pathetic manner. He was seething in anger because Anaya didn’t even spare a glance at him and continued defending Winnie.
“You know very well why I am here, Anaya, don’t you?” Lucifer asked her lazily, moving her nose over his fingers on Winnie’s neck.
“I don’t care about what happened between you and Alfred, and I don’t give a fk to what you can do to this pack, Lucifer. I would have gone a long time ago if your warriors didn’t have targeted pups. You didn’t even spare playschool-going pups, Lucifer. Do you really think that I will spare a glance at you?”
Lucifer grimaced and glared at Theo, who was now on alert. He knew Lucifer's principles very well, and to be honest, he was also startled to know that some of their warriors acted on their own and hurt pups.
They didn't know why they believed Anaya without any doubt.
Surely, they came here to take over the pack, but they never ordered to kill or hurt a pup that young.
“I will investigate immediately.” Theo said to Lucifer hurriedly through mind-link. Lucifer looked back at Anaya and smiled slyly, but internally he and Beast were seething because of Anaya’s accusation.
“Accept me as your mate, and I will let her go.” Lucifer suddenly demanded, startling everyone. Anaya's eyes widened in horror.
