Chapter 80 Tania Megane
Chapter 80 Tania Megane
Harry’s POV:
I leaned against my car, which was parked in front of the shared house, and scrolled through my phone. My headset was on as I watched a racing video from an academy my parents wouldn’t let me attend as a kid.
Although I was busy watching the video, I was also waiting for Purple to hit me up because I was anxious to hear from her; earlier, I had realized she must have been in a foul mood, but that was to be expected.
“Harry.” I pulled my headset down when Nate walked over with Tania. What were they doing here?
“Hey.” Tania smiled at me, and I simply nodded before pulling out my house key to go inside.
“When will you be leaving for your race?” she asked as they followed me to the door. I inserted the key, and they should have taken that as their cue to leave, but instead, they followed me into the house. Etsy had already left for her parents’ place this morning, and Chris would be staying with his grandma for a while.
The only one still around was Leone, and I hadn’t been seeing much of her. “You know… in case you need to loosen up before the game…” She bit her bottom lip, and I scoffed. I walked over to the water dispenser and filled a glass; Tania leaned on the space next to me, pushing her chest up. “I will be glad to help.”
“Tania.” Nate called with a hiss. “Where is the dignity? Can we just talk about whatever it is we came here for?”
Tania rolled her eyes and stared at me one more time before she walked over to the couch. “You guys are no fun.”
“What do you want to talk about?” I looked down at Tania. She was dressed in a tight-fitting red gown that hugged her figure perfectly. She had a great body and would no doubt make it as one of the hottest vixens the world had yet to see. We might have messed around once or twice when I was still with Frankie, and that made her believe my relationship with Purple wouldn’t stop us from fooling around—but that’s where she was wrong. The only place I imagined my cock was deep inside my Pancake, and I might as well chew my own ass off before messing with Tania again.
“A glass of wine would be nice.” She winked at me, and I weighed the odds of serving her one. Because I still had a shred of gentlemanly ethics, I pulled out a bottle of wine and poured her a glass.
“You too, princess?” I asked Nate, who sat there watching us like it was his favorite cartoon.
“I need a beer, man.” He snorted, walked over to the refrigerator, and pulled out a bottle. We sat there as I waited impatiently for them to tell me why they were actually here.
“So, uh… the Shake Shake girls are organizing a charity event next month, and, uh… we need some support,” she explained. I looked at Nate to verify if this girl was just pulling my leg, but he just shrugged.
“Charity? You?” I asked in amusement, and she frowned.
“What is that supposed to mean?” Tania took another sip of her wine before she stood up and joined me on the couch. Tania didn’t care about the glare I gave her as she sat next to me. “Believe it or not, I do have a heart, and we made a lot this year from the dance events and all, so I want to give back to our society.”
She sounded so sincere I almost believed her, but whether I believed her or not didn’t mean shit. “I’m afraid I can’t support this event.”
“I know the winner of the racing event at Bernoi walks away with 100,000.” Of course she knew. I glared at Nate, who grinned; he would still wonders why I called him a princess.
“Just think about it, Harry. You and I helping develop Roonie and getting something out of it. First a charity event, then we get to open a school, supermarkets, and all…”
She was thinking big, and that piqued my interest. I had always thought about investing in something, because I didn’t plan on counting on my family’s business, and Roonie could use the development.
“What’s in it for you? I’m not buying all that ‘wanting to help society’ stuff.”
Her brows furrowed as if I had insulted her by not believing she was doing this out of the kindness of her heart. Then she sighed when she realized I wasn’t buying the act.
“Well… Tania Megane, a girl born and raised in Roonie. Over the years, she has been a part of the town’s development by hosting several charity events that helped over 20,000 kids, the construction of good education systems, and the promotion of the city’s economy,” she stated like a journalist reading a biography.
When she was done, she looked at me with a wide smile. “Won’t that make a perfect profile for a girl running for mayor?”
Now that was a shock. I raised a brow and laughed, because she was definitely pulling my leg.
“Yeah, go on and laugh.”
Click.
I looked at Nate, who had his phone camera pointed at us. “A picture to finalize the deal.” He walked over with a smile and crouched behind us before taking a selfie.
“Delete those.” I shoved his phone away from my face and stood up. “I’m not willing to put my money into a superficial project. Present me with a business plan and all, then I might consider it.”
“Seriously? You already had your dick in me several times but won’t trust me?”
I glared at her. “Because I was once in there, that’s how I know not to trust you with my money.”
She burst out laughing and stood up, straightening her gown before walking to the door. “My project depends on you winning that racing event, so I am willing to do anything—I mean anything—to help you loosen up.” She played with the handle of her gown, and Nate cleared his throat.
“Me too? Because I might need that help, you know.” He placed his hand on her shoulder, and she slapped it off before smiling at me.
“You know my room address. Find me if you need me.”
“Stop dreaming, he’s got a girl.” Nate pulled the door open, and I waited for them to leave so I could freshen up and catch some rest.
“I respect that, but for now, she ain’t here, so I don’t mind helping. See you soon, hopefully.”
I watched Tania walk out, swaying her hips as she always did. I always thought she would want to be a dancer after school, but it turns out she wants to be mayor. Was I the only one still clinging to a teenage hobby as a career?
