Chapter 76 I am Glad You Came To Roonie

Chapter 76 I am Glad You Came To Roonie
Purple’s POV:

Last night was wonderful; I know this because I spent the entire night reminiscing about every moment—it was the best night of my life. After that thrill-inducing racing event, we went to the club the Rebels had booked for the celebratory party. Consider that confidence: they already had a club ready with a congratulations banner hanging even before the race. That just goes to show how much they underestimated the Vipers, and after watching how great they were last night—how smooth they drove and how well they worked as a team—I just had to be proud of being a part of the Rebels.

For the first time, Harry and I went through a party without glaring at each other. He pulled me to the dance floor; he even pulled me to the restroom when he wanted to take a leak. That’s how much he wanted me next to him the entire night. The party was great, but we had to leave early. We got back to the shared apartment and I visited Harry’s bedroom. I lay on the bed while he sat on the floor, and we chatted about silly stuff and laughed until I fell asleep in his arms.

Ring, ring.

A loud sound kept interrupting my thoughts. I opened my eyes and smiled when I realized I was not only in Harry’s bedroom but in his arms.

I searched around for my ringing phone, and when I spotted it on the coffee table, I was about to climb off the bed to get it when he wrapped his hand around my waist, pulling me back to him.

“You sneaking out on me?” He raised a brow, and I chuckled and kissed his lips. I had no idea he read those billionaire romance novels where a girl sneaked out on the CEO after a one-night stand—that would definitely not be me.

“I need to get my phone.”

He kissed the tip of my nose. “Good morning.”

God.

I awkwardly pulled out of his arms. I must have looked like a thirty-year-old virgin squirming just because he told me good morning in that tone.

I reached for my phone and frowned when I realized it was my mom. Since when does she wake up this early? Then my eyes widened when I saw the time and remembered I had a morning flight.

“Fucking Jesus, it’s almost 4,” I screamed and connected the call.

“Hey, Mom.”

“Good morning, Pancake. Are you already boarding?”

I turned to look at Harry, who seemed to just remember my flight in an hour and was putting on his trousers.

“On my way to the airport, Mom, and…”

“What do you mean on your way? You are going to miss the flight and…”

“I might miss it if I keep talking to you—is that what you want?”

“I swear on my fucking life, Purple Pancake Quinn, if you come up with some silly excuse about missing your flight and not being able to come here, then I will be there before you know it!” She kept screaming angrily. Once she completed her sentence, I ended the call and turned to Harry.

“I can’t miss my flight.”

“I will drop you off. Go freshen up.”

I smiled and kissed him before I dashed out of his bedroom. Luckily, I had already finished packing. After a shower, I wore a short jean trouser and a tshirt with sports shoes before going to Etsy’s bedroom, but she was deep asleep with Dianne’s leg over her head.

“Etsy,” I murmured, but she didn’t budge. I crouched and rubbed her cheeks as she yawned and opened her eyes lazily. “I am leaving.”

“Leaving?”

“Hmm. See you when school resumes.”

She nodded and returned to sleep. I chuckled because I know she might not even remember me telling her goodbye. Then I went to Chris’s bedroom and knocked.

I knocked thrice and got no response, so I walked in. He had his duvet over his face and didn’t look like he wanted to be woken.

“Hey,” Harry called from the door. He had my suitcase and backpack in his hands. I looked at Chris one more time, contemplating telling Leone goodbye even though we weren’t on the best of terms.

But I couldn’t leave without letting her know.

“I will quickly tell Leone goodbye and we will be on our way,” I said, walking past Harry.

“She is not in,” he said, and I turned to him with a raised brow. “Let’s go, unless you plan to miss your flight, which I wouldn’t mind…” He smirked teasingly and I rolled my eyes; Alice would definitely kill me if I didn’t show up.

“I wish I could.”

—

The ride to the airport was silent, and I chuckled because this silence had become our thing. “What’s funny?” Harry asked, parking in the airport parking lot.

“I feel like we talked about a lot during the ride to the airport,” even though we barely shared a word during the entire ride, I still felt like we said a lot.

He took off his seatbelt and we leaned in at once and kissed like our lives depended on it. He pulled on my lip, letting me know he didn’t want me to leave.

His hand gripped my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. The kiss was desperate, hungry, like we were both trying to memorize the taste of each other before the world pulled us apart. Harry’s hand gripped my shoulder tighter, yanking me across the center console until I was practically in his lap. Our tongues tangled, hot and messy, and a low groan rumbled from his chest that sent heat straight between my legs.

“Fuck, Purple,” he breathed against my mouth, biting my lower lip hard enough to make me whimper. His other hand slid down my side, slipping under my top to palm my breast, thumb brushing over my nipple through my bra until it hardened. I arched into him, my fingers threading through his messy curls and tugging.

The windows were already starting to fog up. I could feel how hard he was through his jeans, pressing insistently against my thigh as I shifted closer. His hand left my breast and moved lower, cupping me between my legs over my shorts. He rubbed firmly, the friction making me moan into his mouth.

“Harry… we can’t—” I gasped, but my hips rocked against his hand anyway, chasing the pressure. He unzipped my shorts and slipped his fingers, finding me soaked already. Two fingers pushed inside me without warning, curling deep while his thumb circled my clit.

“God, you’re dripping for me,” he growled, his voice thick with lust. He pumped his fingers faster, his mouth moving to my neck, sucking and biting hard enough to leave marks I’d have to hide later. I cried out, grinding down on his hand, the heel of his palm pressing perfectly against my clit with every thrust.

“Harry, fuck...I’m gonna miss my flight,” I moaned, even as my walls clenched around his fingers. The words came out broken, half-hearted. I didn’t want to stop. I wanted him to keep finger-fucking me until I came screaming his name in this stupid parking lot.

He cursed under his breath, adding a third finger and picking up the pace, his breathing ragged against my throat. “Then miss it. Stay with me one more night.” His thumb pressed harder on my clit, drawing tight, filthy circles that had my thighs shaking.

I was so close, right on the edge, when reality crashed back in. The distant sound of an airplane taking off reminded me why we were here.

“Harry… stop,” I whimpered, even though my body screamed the opposite. I grabbed his wrist, breathing hard. “I have to go. I can’t miss this flight.” I don't think an Orgasm was worth my mom's temper.

He stilled, his forehead pressed to mine, both of us panting. His fingers stayed inside me for a few more seconds, giving one last slow thrust that made me shudder, before he reluctantly pulled them out. He brought them to his lips and licked them clean again, eyes dark and burning into mine.

“Fuck,” he muttered, voice hoarse. “I hate this.”

“Me too.” I kissed him softly this time, trying to pour everything I felt into it. It was hard to believe he didn't love me, or maybe he didn't know that himself.

We fixed our clothes in silence, the car heavy with unresolved lust. Harry helped me out, grabbing my suitcase from the trunk like it weighed nothing. He walked me to the entrance, his hand on the small of my back the whole way, his thumb rubbing slow circles that kept the fire simmering.

At the doors, he pulled me into one last fierce kiss, deep and claiming, before letting go.

“Go,” he said roughly, his jaw tight. “Before I drag you back to the car.”

I gave him a small, sad smile and turned, my suitcase rolling behind me. I could feel his eyes on me, and I stopped when he called for me.

“Pancake.”

“Hmm?”

“I am glad you came to Roonie.”

I am too. But I felt a little dissapointed because that wasn't what I expected him to say.
