Chapter 101 Fight For It

Chapter 101 Fight For It
She thrust the squeegee into his chest again harder, driving with her feet digging into the tile and pushing from her shoulders.
“Fuck!” He choked and stumbled back, but she struck again before he’d gotten his bearing or could swipe for the pole, knocking his head back. Blood spurted out.
Gavin swept toward her, ducking low. the other yanked the squeegee out of her hand, but she drove her knee up into where Gavin's face would be. She missed when he twisted out of the way, hitting the ground and grabbing for her legs. She jumped back. The third man swung the pole at her. She ducked under it, dropping to the ground and sliding toward the nearest busing cart and rammed it over. A moment later she was on her feet, slamming her hand on the start button for the wash cycle and the hose.
"Stop her!"
She ripped the hose from the wall, aiming at Gavin and squeezing. She grabbed the bottle of soap and squeezed as he slipped on the sudsy, greasy water. Sliding around them in her non-slip shoes, she opened the water trap for the dishwasher, letting another gush of greasy soapy water flood the floor.
“Fucking grab her!”
She shot Jason in the face. They slipped and slid, but scrambled toward her, eyes blazing with anger. She grabbed plates, bowls, glasses and hurled them, hitting them in the chest and face and spraying them. The athlete tripped over Jason and she took the opening to run.
"No you fucking don't bitch!" Gavin's hand shot out, yanking her leg from under. She slid across the slick tile and broken plates.  He crawled over her and she rammed her knee into his throat, shoving at his face with the heel of her palm.
A sharp crack and blood followed. His nose? His cheek? Didn’t matter, so long as it hurt.
So long as he went down damn it!
She twisted, dislodging him and hissing through the pain. Her pal ripped across a patch of glass, but she got up, grabbing a large shard and throwing it at the athlete as he rose.
He dodged, snatching her arm and sliding, dragging her down. She twisted, whirling him into the wall, but he didn't let go. She rammed her her foot down on his instep and thrust her head up until it connected with his face.
"You fight like that for them, bitch?" Gavin snarled, grabbing her by her hair. “That how my brother ended up dead?”
Her hands went up around the back of his. She ducked, twisted and spun in pace on the patch of grease until he cried out and a crack sounded. His hand loosened, her hair came free and she spun, aiming her shin into his face again with a roaring yell. He flew back. Her foot flew out from under her and she dropped, rolling away towards the door.
Jason landed on top of her. She slammed her palm into his face, shoving his face way until she could get her elbow to clear his head. She screamed, driving it back again and again until he rolled off with a groan. She pushed her heels into the ground, sliding back and away from them, until she could get up. Gavin ran at her. She leaned forward into it, keeping her leg out of reach. He lifted up, taking her up and she drove her knee into his chest. He choked and stumbled, dropping her on the table. Before she could get an elbow strike in, he knocked her hand aside and grabbed her by the throat.
Blood and greasy water spilled down his face, painting him in gruesome, gleaming red. His other hand trailed over her breast, groping as he laughed.
"Love it when they fucking fight. Glad you like it rough. Thought you would."
She grabbed his face, pressing at his eyes with her blunt nails until he twisted away. A gasp of air later she struck the side of his head, aiming for his ear. He shouted, stumbling away with another cry. The pole came down over her. She slid aside and surged up, slamming her elbow into the athlete's. He turned aside and she slipped off the table, kicking him as hard as she could in the crotch, barely missing his balls from the sound of his grunt. He crumpled forward. She drove her elbow down on his back and drove her knee into his face.
A large hand struck her across the face, spinning her around and filling her vision with bright lights. She slammed into the table, then someone with foul breath and rough hands was on her, hips pushed against hers, hand in her hair. He pulled her head back, pulling at her scalp until it screamed.
"You're going to fucking pay for that." Jason hissed in her ear. His other arm wrapped around her throat, dragging her away from the table, groping her ass, sliding his free hand over her hip.
The past and current blurred together. She reached for his head, yanking at his hair, scratching at his face and arms, anything to get the right angle to drive her elbow back into his sternum. His hand went back to her hair and he dragged her back. Her face throbbed. Her vision blurred, but she closed her hand around a handle and as soon as her hips left the counter. She twisted, throwing her arm over his and bending back and locking their elbow together before swinging the pan into his face with a loud clang.
She stumbled back, around the preparation table trying to clear her vision.
A hand clamped around her wrist, squeezing so hard, her bones ached and yanked her forward, throwing her against the metal of the stove. Her head knocked back against it, adding to disorientation, but she kicked at shadows. A grunt came from above her along with a dull thud of a limb hitting metal. She slid along the floor blindly.
Footsteps came from behind her and she rolled into the moving prep table, throwing herself across the shelf. Pans clattered to the floor around her in a discordant clang, scattering in flashes of silver in the low light. She brought her arms up to protect her face as she wiggled and rolled off the shelf and across the widest part of the kitchen. A hand twisted in her hair, pulling up. Before it could hurt, she clamped her own hand on top of it, keeping his hand as close to her scalp as she could as he heaved her up onto her feet and swung her around. Her feet left the ground.
“Grab her legs!”
She kicked out, aiming at whatever she could reach. One of them grabbed her leg. She screamed and thrashed, trying to loosen their grin. Light and shadow danced through her vision. The air grew colder and the tiled got smaller. Shadows on the wall shifted from just pans to supplies and food stuffs.
They were taking her to the walk in freezer.
