Nina swallowed hard, for some reason her throat felt dry even though she had just finished a glass of juice. She could feel a bad feeling. But, if she think about it, it's not impossible that this boss is actually a good person. It's just, Nina who think too much. 
Despite trying to convince herself, in reality, the bad premonition she had earlier was true. Victor took her to a luxury apartment, when they entered the apartment, Victor immediately took off his suit and put it on the sofa. 
"T-this-" 
"This is one of my apartments. Sit down! Take it easy, no need to be so nervous!" 
"B-but-" 
"You've been looking really agitated, you're worried about something?" Asked Victor who basically already knew that Nina was trying to avoid her. However, if he let this woman go now. So, he won't know what made Aiden choose her over Samantha, who drives many men crazy. 
Because she doesn't have the courage to go, once again Nina is forced to join Victor's game. Nina sat on the couch with her hands resting on her slightly shaking knees, showing that she was very uncomfortable with this situation. 
"May I ask you something?" 
"Yes, of course, Sir!" 
"Don't call me formally like that. We're just the two of us here, so you can call me Victor!" 
"B-but, I guess that-" 
"Do you mind?" 
"Ah no, that's not it. Well, I'll try-" she answered with a heavy heart. 
"Have you got a boyfriend?" 
"Haaah? Boyfriend?" 
"Yes, you have a boyfriend?" Victor asked once again. He smiled faintly, exuding a charm that could make any woman fascinated. The charisma of a young CEO who is very attached to him and Nina who has already fallen in love with Aiden, even ignoring men like Victor who have always been at the top of her ideal man list. 
"Why did I ignore it? CEO, right, haven't I been looking for something like this from a long time ago?" She thought. Her rationality started to work, the greedy traits that had started to fade since being with Aiden, reactivated when she saw this man in front of her. 
She thought hard, stupidly believing that she was liked just because her boss asked her about her relationship status. But by bringing her into this apartment, wasn't that a sign that he might be interested in her? 
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" 
"Ah...t-that me, I-" Nina stuttered. She hesitated to answer when she thought she was being faced with one big opportunity in her life that she would never get again. Telling the truth or lying is very difficult at times like this. 
However, Nina admits that her feelings for Aiden are no joke. She loved Aiden very much and she never thought of leaving him. 
"I already have a lover!" She answered firmly. As if she was rejecting someone who expressed feelings for her. 
Victor was surprised by Nins's reaction, he thought it was funny. This woman takes three minutes to answer whether she already has a boyfriend or not, as if she doubts every answer she will give. 
"So, she hesitated to say it? Is it because Aiden asked her to keep their relationship a secret?" Victor thought. Every answer and reaction that she gives will be an assessment for Victor. 
"Is that so? Too bad, but I'm attracted to you!" He said with a fake smile. Nina who thought that Victor was disappointed, instead blamed herself for giving such an answer. 
"F-forgive me!" 
"It's okay, I understand! However, I'm curious about the lucky guy who can get your heart. He must have everything that other guys don't have, right?" 
"Other men don't have?" Nina asked herself. She doesn't know the exact reason why she loves Aiden. However, if viewed from any angle, she is the luckiest because she has found a man like him. 
Aiden is a kind man, sincere and selfless. Despite his astounding physical appearance, Aiden is nearly perfect. It's true, he has what many other men out there don't have, namely sincerity. 
"Yes, he's the best man I've ever met. He's sweet, caring and always tries to make me happy. He's not the lucky one to have me, but I'm the lucky girl to have a lover like him. I feel so grateful," she smiled gentle. The look in her eyes and words made Victor feel touched. Strange, for a moment Victor felt jealous of one thing. Where he never got sincere love from a woman who he knew only wanted the wealth and status he had. 
"Oh, I see?" Victor got up from the sofa and walked over to Nina who was sitting across from him. 
Victor held Nina's shoulder and pushed her back, with a little pressure, Victor landed on Nina's lips who didn't even realize what her boss was going to do to her. 
Nina could hardly believe it, when their lips touched each other. Her body froze and she was too shocked to read the situation. After doing something that would shock a woman, Victor pulled his face away and stared into the eyes of the woman in front of him. 
"I made you a good offer and I hope you don't refuse. Be my girlfriend and I will give you anything you want!"
Nina froze in place, her body felt frozen. To be honest, she couldn't even believe what Victor whispered in her ear. How could it be possible that Victor, who had clearly shown his dislike for her some time ago, would change in such a short amount of time? This feels so impossible.
However, even knowing that the man in front of her wasn't serious about what he was saying, she didn't know what answer she should give. Nina obviously wanted to refuse him, but Victor seemed to be showing her that he didn't want to hear any rejections or anything like that.
"B-but I really already have someone I love. So, I'm sorry, I have to go!" She said as she got up from her place and walked towards the door.
Quickly, Victor pulled her and and hugged her body from behind. Nina gasped, she didn't know that Victor would be this reckless to her. Victor looks annoyed and she can feel his anger.
"I'll wait for your answer until tomorrow and make sure, you really think about it!" He said. His voice sounded so cold, it made her shudder.
Victor lets her go, but Ami is still scared. She had never experienced this before and what confused her was why she didn't feel happy at all when a man like that asked her to be his girlfriend? Isn't having a lover like that her dream all along?
Nina felt confused at herself for losing her motivation from the start to come to this place. Love changes everything, even herself. She realizes one thing that her goal now is no longer money and wealth, but genuine affection from someone who loves and accepts her for who she is.
