Chapter 119
Nina is probably the only one who is nervous here, seeing the furor caused by Aiden's sudden confession on live broadcast making Nina worried about what will happen next. 
Even after the event was over, her worries had not disappeared. So Nina thought, was what Aiden did the right thing? Or is it just Nina is too worried about things that are not certain to happen.

 

"Nina, why are you standing there? Let's take a picture!" Exclaimed Depney who was already prepared with the others to take a photo with Aiden. 
Even after the event was over, Nina's mind was still focused on Aiden's interview today. In front of her, Aiden looked at her with a faint smile. 
"Ah...yes!" She said nervously as she walked over to her colleagues who were busy asking Aiden to take a photo together. 
After the photo session was over, Aiden said goodbye to go home. But apparently, he wouldn't be able to just walk out like he thought. In front of the elevator door, Samantha was waiting for him with a scary cold face. 
"Hi, Darling?" 
"What are you doing here?" 
"What do you want? Of course to pick you up! Are you surprised?" Samantha was showing her dominant side again and it annoyed Aiden because this woman never gave up on bothering him. 
Aiden thought to ignore her and just pass Samantha, Samantha quickly pulled Aiden's hand and held it. He stopped walking, the people around them immediately focused their attention on the couple who had just announced their separation. 
"What were you thinking when you said that in front of everyone?" She asked. Aiden now understood why Samantha had come to follow him to this place. Apparently just to beg for attention from him. 
"Isn't that obvious? I don't need to repeat myself. Could you please let go of my hand now?" 
"You're wrong if you think you're free just because you announced to everyone on live that we've split! You're wrong, Aiden!" Samantha was getting emotional. I don't know what he is planning now, what is clear is that her screams surprised people and tried to find out what happened. 
"Can we discuss it somewhere else? Everyone is looking at us, aren't you embarrassed?" 
"I don't care, because you're the one who humiliated me a long time ago!" 
Meanwhile, Nina who had just left her room to go home, was surprised to see a crowd of people standing in front of the elevator as if they were witnessing something interesting. 
"What is it?" Nina asked a man. 
"Aiden Supernova had a fight with his girlfriend!" 
"W-what?" Nina spontaneously took a few steps forward to see what was happening. 
However, it seems that she made a mistake by showing herself in front of someone who really hates her. Samantha, who saw Nina's face, could not believe that she was in this place. 
With bulging eyes, Samantha walked over to her and when she stood in front of her, her hand flew right up to Nina's cheek. One hard slap left everyone speechless, including Aiden who didn't even have time to stop Samantha. 
"Finally you show your face too? Are you shameless, stealing someone's lover like that?" She shouted with an innocent face, acting like she was a victim of Aiden's betrayal. 
"W-what do you mean?" 
"Don't play dumb! You want to pretend you don't know Aiden and me, is that it? You are the one who destroyed our relationship!" 
"Sam, stop me! Let's go!" Aiden grabbed Samantha's hand to pull her away from the growing crowd. 
People whispered, looking cynical at Nina after hearing Samantha's statement saying that Nina was the cause of the breakup between Aiden and Samantha. 
"You know I love you so much, why are you doing this to me, Aiden?" Samantha was crying hysterically and it made Aiden feel really sick of her. 
"Are you coming or not?" 
Samantha relented and let Aiden lead her away from the crowd of people who were busy talking about them. Meanwhile, Nina who was left behind, was still unable to move after receiving a slap from Samantha in front of her co-workers. 
Nina cried and rushed away to hide her tears. Her heart was really hurting, it turned out that this was what happened and that was why she was feeling restless all day long. 
Bruuukkk... 
Nina who was running in a hurry, accidentally bumped into someone. 
"F-forgive me...!" She said while quickly wiping away her tears. 
The man stretched out her hand, helping Nina up. Seeing who was the man she hit, Nina was immediately nervous and looked down. 
"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!” She said while looking down, that man was Victor, the president director who had scared her since she stepped foot in this place. 
Victor narrowed his eyes, he really couldn't believe what he had just witnessed. The fight in the corridor had something to do with this one intern. 
Nina nervously walked away, she really wanted to go home so she could cry to her heart's content after being humiliated in front of her co-workers and what was worse, she couldn't say anything to defend herself. 
"Hey, wait a minute!" Victor call her. Nina who was getting ready to leave, had to stop when she heard the boss call. 
"Y-yes sir? Is there anything I can help you?" 
"Follow me!" After stating it clearly, Victor stepped ahead of Nina who couldn't believe what she just said. 
"What are you doing? Come with me!"
"A-alright, Sir!" Nina who was still confused, had to follow her boss' orders.
She didn't dare to ask where her boss was taking her, but from the direction she was going, it was clear that Victor was going to the parking lot.
Nina felt uneasy and kept thinking whether she had done something wrong that made this man so angry and intended to give her punishment such as washing his car or cleaning the parking area alone. But clearly, this man still looks cold and arrogant as usual.
Victor stopped in front of a black car that was probably his. He casually opened the car door and looked back at Nina with a cynical expression.
"Come in, I'll take you home!"
"B-but, Sir-"
"Why? Do you have an appointment with someone?"
"N-no, it's not like that, I just-"
