Nina ate the delicious dishes served with great gusto, she only realized that her stomach was really hungry when the homemade food entered her stomach. Nina could feel a mother's love and it made her eyes start to water. 
She didn't realize that her tears were flowing, she felt pain every time she missed that figure, a figure that had left her and her younger brother, Dion, long ago. 
Aiden who was sitting beside Nina, glanced at this woman with a questioning look. Seeing Nina suddenly crying, made Aiden worry. 
"Honey, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" 
"Ahahaha...no, I'm fine. These are just tears of joy, hahaha..." Nina tried to hide her tears with laughter, acting like she was fine. 
"Tears of joy?" 
"Yeah, after all this is the first time I'm having dinner like this, I feel really happy." 
Aiden smiled gently, as did his mother, Mrs. Emila who seemed to understand Nina's feelings. Being invited to dinner out of the blue like this must have mixed feelings. 
"Then Aiden, next summer vacation, bring Nina to our house in Alberta. If your relationship is serious, I hope you two can get married soon!" 
"W-what? Mom, what you said?" 
"I think you should start thinking about where this relationship will take you. However, if you want to go through like this first, I can only pray for your happiness!" Mrs. Emila smiled gently, her motherly aura radiated strongly, making Nina want to cry even more. 
Nina had been mistaken, her fears for the past few days were unfounded. Aiden's mother was a good woman and all she wished for was her only son's happiness, regardless of her choice. 
"Mom, thank you. You are the best!" 
"What are you talking about? All right, take Nina to the front to talk to. I wants to wash the dishes first!" 
"Mom, uhm...I mean, Aunt! Uhm...that-" Nina said nervously. She is still reluctant to say what she means. 
"Yeah, what do you want to say?" Mrs. Emila responded gently. She was happy when Nina accidentally called her mother. 
"May I help?" Asked Nina, looking down shyly. 
Aiden chuckled, Nina's shy behavior looked very sweet. Aiden felt that he saw another side of Nina that he didn't know about and thanks to the arrival of his mother, he was able to find out. 
Nina helped Mrs. Emila wash the dirty dishes and kitchen utensils, while Aiden was relaxing watching tv with Squishy. 
Although still a little nervous, she began to feel comfortable and less awkward. It had been a long time since she had done this, since the last time she saw her mother, maybe 12 years ago. Yes, this warmth can at least make her feel again how to have a mother. 
"You are from philippines?" Asked Mrs. Emila. Nina flinched because she should be the one who started the conversation. 
"Ah...y-yes, Auntie!" 
"How are your parents? Are they healthy?" 
"Erm...that, y-yes, everyone is healthy!" She answered doubtfully. She confused why she had to lie. However, she also felt sad if she had to tell the truth. 
"Thank goodness! How many siblings do you have?" 
"Two, Auntie. Just me and my 17 year old brother!" 
"Is that so? It must be nice to have siblings? Back when Aiden was little, he really wanted to have a sibling. However, I couldn't give him one because at that time my condition was not very good. Because of that, he often played with the small children around home and treats them like little brothers." 
"He must really love them-" 
"That's right, he even prepared Christmas gifts for them from his own savings. When he decided to study in Harvard, they were very sad because they felt they had lost an older brother who always looked after them." 
"He is so lucky, it's all because he's so good." 
"Is it true?" 
"Yeah, he is a really nice guy." 
"So, you really love him?" Asked Mrs. Emila. The conversation that was initially relaxed, turned serious when changing topics. 
Hearing a sudden question like this made Nina confused about how to answer it, especially since Aiden's mother was the one who asked the question. Even though Nina is sure of her feelings for Aiden, every time she imagines Samantha who also has the same feelings. She feels defeated, as if she doesn't deserve to have the same feelings and compete with a perfect woman like Samantha. 
Apart from that, there is also Cindy and Emila which cannot be underestimated. Cindy who is beautiful and gentle like an angel, it's hard to resist her charms. Moreover, Cindy has known Aiden for a long time, even since they were little. 
Not to mention Emily, the beautiful super model who had a love affair with Aiden. It wasn't impossible for her to make Aiden fall back into her arms. Nina realized herself, her opponents were too tough. Even though Aiden loves her, she realizes that love alone is not enough in a relationship. 
"Why are you silent? Did you ask the wrong question?" 
"Ah...n-no, I'm just embarrassed to say it!" 
"Embarrassed, huh? I understands, if you feel annoyed, you don't have to answer it!" 
"I love him!" She said. She wasn't bothered at all by the question and if she had the chance to admit it, then now was the time. 
Mrs. Emila smiled gently, it seemed that Nina's answers already represented most of the questions she wanted to ask. This young lady loved her son, for her that was more than enough 
"In that case, I will you entrust Aiden!" 
"What you mean?," 
"Aiden is alone in this city and even though he's grown up and independent, he still needs someone to lean on. Because I'm far from him, I often feels worried. Therefore, I entrusts Aiden to you, love him sincerely."

 
"What's wrong? Why have you been daydreaming all the time?" Asked Aiden who was driving his car to Nina's apartment. 
Nina who was sitting beside Aiden, was silent with her eyes facing the car window, her mind wandering far away. The message that Aiden's mother told her, really went to the very depths of her heart. 
"Sorry, what did you say earlier?" Asked Nina spontaneously when she realized that she had ignored Aiden. 
"I asked why you were daydreaming? Did my mom say something to you?" 
"Yes!" 
"Really? What then?" 
"Your mom said just beat you if you're naughty!" 
"What? Hahaha...really?" 
"Yes, your mom said so. So it seems you can't do anything to me anymore!" 
"Hahahaha...when did I do anything to you? You're the one who always does it. Don't distort the facts!" 
Nina laughed, she felt so happy. It's strange, the message Aiden's mother gave her made her spirit come back. The confidence that had been lost, little by little began to reappear. 
Nina gently pulled Aiden's sleeve and touched it indulgently. So cute, was what Aiden was thinking when Nina did it. Aiden and Nina feel the same way that love has never felt this good.
