CHAPTER 47: WHY ARE THERE STAIN ON YOUR SHEET

CHAPTER 47: WHY ARE THERE STAIN ON YOUR SHEET

Francessca POV

“I am going to get this girI” I said stepped out of the room with the recorder carefully hidden in my body

“She thinks she can fool everyone , but I’m going to show the world what she is “ I cursed vehemently as I stepped out of the room when I saw the laundry lady holding sheet and coming out from Diana room

“What that” I thought to myself as I waited for the lady to get closer

“What that in your hand” I said out to her

"It is for the  lady in the upper room" she said , her voice tinged with curiosity as she held up the sheet, her eyes scanning it with a mixture of confusion and concern.

I felt a sudden jolt of unease as I took in the sight of the stains. My reaction was instinctive "Give me that!!!" I called out, snatching the sheet from her hands.

As I unfolded it, my eyes widened in surprise. "What is this?!!" I exclaimed, my voice barely above a whisper. I scrutinized the fabric, my mind racing with possibilities.

The stains were dark and unmistakable blood. My gaze snapped up to meet the laundry lady's, and I could see the sincerity in her eyes. "I don't know, ma," she said, her voice laced with a hint of fear.

I studied her face, searching for any sign of deception, but she seemed genuinely puzzled. "You didn't notice anything unusual when you picked up the sheets?" I pressed, my tone a little softer now.

She shook her head, her eyes still wide with worry. "No, ma. I just collected the laundry like usual. I didn't see any stains then." I believed her. She seemed like a straightforward, honest person.

They were two things in my head, either Diana just got injured or she lost her virginity , the thought of it being her virginity scared me the most.

“Out of my way !!!” I said to her as I made my way to Enzo chambers where I saw him puffing smoke and relaxing.

“Why are there blood stains on these sheet!!!” I didn’t even bother greeting with the anger I had in me right now.

“What sheet” he asked after several seconds and then I knew he knows something cause Enzo never waste time in replying

“Don’t play dumb with me right now , why is there blood in Diana sheet???” I asked again hoping I would get a better response.

“ you said Diana sheet, not my sheet , why all these questions , and what makes you think I have the answers to them ??” He said with his usual straight face, as he laid back and continued his act.

“Okay” I fumed as I headed up to Diana room bursting the door open I saw her on the bed staring at me.

“Why are there stains on your sheet “ I said to her

“ I might have amnesia but certainly I know it is rude for you to barge into someone room without knocking let alone without greeting “ she said calmly to me as I looked at her stunned.

“ did she just speak to me like that ???” What audacity!!” I thought to myself

“You need to know your place in this house and how you should speak to people” I cutter her

“The only boss I know is Enzo, and he hasn’t explained anything about you being the boss to me “ she said as I assessed her from top to bottom , and I could observe that she was bold now no fear in her eyes anymore.

“How are these stains in your bedsheet” I asked her as I saw no signs of injuries on her and immediately I felt fear wash all over me.

“And how is that your business??? “ she said

But I choose to remain cool, I couldn’t overreact so I would get answers

“There is no injury on your body, that why I came to ask, and these stains looks alike someone who just have her first intimacy “ I said as I observed her

I could feel her uneasiness when I said the word “first intimacy “

I waited for moments but there were no replies from her

“We’re you with a man last night ???”

“Did you see me with a man last night ??” She replied back to me as I held my hand back in order not to give her a resounding slap.

“I am just like your boss here, so you need to answer me right now !!!!!!!, or else you won’t like the consequence “ I said out to her as I tried to control my anger

Franco's voice cut through the thick air like a blade. "What’s going on here?"

The door slammed against the wall as he burst into the room, his eyes darting wildly between the two of us. His presence was loud, commanding, but neither Diana nor I flinched. We didn’t even bother to look at him.

Diana’s eyes were locked with mine, unblinking. Her expression was unreadable, a storm behind calm waters. My chest tightened. It was as if we were both holding our breath, caught in a moment that had been building for far too long.

Franco took a step forward, confusion turning quickly into suspicion. "Seriously, what the hell is going on?"

Still, we said nothing.

“For the last time—what’s going on?!” Franco shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

I finally turned my head toward him, slow and deliberate, as if he had interrupted something sacred.

“It’s nothing, Franco,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm, light, dismissive. “Just girl talk.”

He stared at us, his eyes narrowing, clearly not buying it. His gaze lingered a moment longer—searching, maybe even accusing—before he let out a huff and turned on his heel, the door clicking shut behind him.

Silence fell again, heavier this time.

I turned back to Diana, my expression hardening. She could see it in my eyes before I even spoke , sharp and barely restrained.

“I swear,” I said, my voice low but laced with fire, “you know exactly how glad I would be to smash his head against that wall if you don’t give me a straight answer right now.”

Diana didn’t flinch. Her lips pressed into a tight line, but I saw the flicker of something fear? guilt? challenge? in her eyes. The tension between us was unbearable now, a taut rope ready to snap.

She knew I wasn’t playing around anymore.

But Diana didn’t back down.

She stood there, arms crossed, chin slightly raised in defiance, her eyes holding mine with a cold, almost cruel steadiness. There was no guilt. No hesitation. Just the sharp sting of deliberate honesty.

“Well,” she said, her voice firm, smooth, and laced with that venomous mockery only she could deliver, “the boss—Enzo—was in my bed last night.”

My stomach dropped.

“I guess you can leave my room now,” she added, her tone hardening, “he might want to come again.”

“What… what did you just say?” I managed, my voice trembling, brittle.
