Chapter 188 Out sweet era 3
Chapter 188 Out sweet era 3
"Something doesn't feel right with you," I muttered out, stopping myself only after Raven gently tapped my finger.
The woman smiled, her eyes remaining fixed on me. "I understand you, Jina, and you don't even have to believe my story. But you have to know the truth. I am not Sae Byeok. I am Dina."
"And why do you still want to continue with the school?" Siwoo spoke up, stepping forward. "You heard everything that went wrong here, and you still want to open it again? That sounds strange."
"In the same way, it doesnt make sense if you completely shut down the school, Siwoo," Dina replied smoothly.
"And I don't even remember telling you my name either?" Siwoo asked, giving the woman a suspicious glance.
This time, Raven stood up gently and moved around the office, his eyes repeatedly glancing at everything in the room. "I think I remember this office. I have been here so many times."
He gently turned back to the woman. "You said you rebuilt this place fast? That it was burned down, and you came and rebuilt it?"
The woman nodded this time and didnt say a word.
"Good," Raven said, pointing at the desk and the items scattered across the office. "I clearly remember that this place was burned down to dust. I saw it, I recorded it, everything. If you claim you rebuilt it back, Dina, why then is everything here still the same? These things here are exactly the things that were here before the place got burned..."
The woman didnt answer. She frowned, her face tightening as tension visibly showed on her. "Are you trying to call me a liar because your mother stole my identity and has been using it for years to become powerful?"
"Nobody is doubting the fact about that," I said, moving closer to the woman. "We understand she stole your identity, and suddenly you regained yourself, came back, knew that there was a school here, and then rebuilt it exactly how it used to be”same painting, same furniture, everything. Isn't that strange to you?"
I pressed her, and she started tapping the table continuously.
"And the strangest part is," Yoon spoke up this time, shaking her head, "you have the exact same resemblance to that demon, only to come here with your bullshit stories."
Raven moved closer to the woman and gently extended his hand. "Welcome back, Dina. At least we can have a handshake? What do you think?"
The woman clenched her hand tight before extending it toward Raven, forcing a smile. Raven grabbed her hand, shut his eyes tight, then slowly opened them and released her grip.
"You are not lying," Raven said quietly. "You are Dina, and my mother really stole your identity."
The woman exhaled, leaning back into her chair with a wild smile now.
"But that doesnt mean you are being truthful," Raven continued. "The fact that you came back here to bring back this school is something strange that we cant let go, because we know everything that went through here. With this, Mrs. Dina, we want this place down totally. Neither you nor anybody else will have full possession of it..."
Siwoo spoke up immediately as Raven pulled his hand into his pocket and brought out a black card.
"Take this card," Raven said, staring deep into the woman. "The money in it can sustain you for the rest of your life. But you have to leave this building. It belongs to me now."
The woman laughed, rolling the chair she sat on before standing up abruptly. "You are no different from your mother, Sae Byeok! I wont be surprised if you later turn out to be just like her. You want me to take this and leave my own property?"
"It is not yours anymore, Dina," Raven said coldly. "Either you take this, or we expose you and take it by force."
"Expose me?" the woman sneered. "Expose me of what?"
This time, I sighted the woman. My eyes widened as the inner aura flared on my face. My inner power came back alive, and I saw it through my sight, she was not pure. I was seeing Dina, but the issue was that she went and possessed more dark power to rule just like Sae Byeok.
I smiled after seeing her with my inner sight and turned to Raven. "I don't think she can even live."
The woman almost staggered, staring at me in shock. "What did you just say?"
I moved closer to her, my voice dropping. "I don't think you can live, Dina. You are a poison to the living, and thanks for introducing yourself to us."
She stood up taller, frowning deeply as her gaze shifted from me to Raven, before stopping at Siwoo. "Your mother took my identity for so long and all you care about is destroying the school? Now I am back to take what belongs to me and you want to fight it? What a nonentity."
"The demon never dies," Siwoo spoke, moving closer. "It shocks me how easily she could die. Maybe she realized that the baby, Betty, didnt work, so when we finally killed her, she went back and took over her own body back."
Siwoo said, smiling.
"Saebyeok... it is really you?" I turned to Siwoo in complete shock. "Saebyeok?"
Siwoo nodded, pointing directly at the woman's hand. "During the last fight, when I chased after her as she tried to escape, I made that exact wound on her hand. Then she just collapsed. I felt it was strange, how could she die just like that? Before I noticed Raven trying to kill you, Jina, I had to remove my gaze from her and rush back to save you."
I turned to the woman. This time, her face went noticeably darker.
"What a story you made up for yourself, 'Dina,'" I said, staring at her. "'Dina' indeed. Thankfully, you were stupid enough to come back with the exact same look. Assuming you came back with a different appearance, we would have found it difficult to know it was you."
Raven didnt say anything. His eyes grew darker as he stared at the woman. Suddenly, the woman's face brightened maliciously. Raven quickly grabbed her by the neck, lifting her straight off the ground, but she just kept on laughing.
"I have wanted to do this to you for so long, to show you that you are nothing to us," Raven growled. Gently, he brought her down, holding her firm. "Thankfully, this is your final day on earth. I am privileged enough to see you again, and to ask you one question, Sae Byeok: You had my father in your wicked arms all this while? What a demon you are. You will finally rot in hell, and we will watch you burn not just leave your body behind."
The woman smiled, relaxing her posture as she sat back down.
"Yes," she whispered, her smile widening into a sinister grin. "I am Sae Byeok. Of course... the devil never dies."
