Chapter 63 The Little Girl's Thoughts

Chapter 63 The Little Girl's Thoughts
Fernando looked at his expression with satisfaction and walked over from the side. Brandon looked over at Victoria with a gloomy expression. "Sir, it's time to go in," Elijah walked over from behind. Brandon suddenly murmured, "What's on the little girl's mind?" Elijah was stunned for a while before realizing the meaning behind Brandon's words. "Sir, are you talking about the young lady? Well, she is indeed still a little girl. I think all little girls have a romantic idea of love, hehe. My daughter is only four years old, but she already knows about romance, such as liking flowers, beautiful clothes, and being praised for carrying a beautiful bag and so on." Brandon walked forward unconsciously and muttered a few words with a deep voice, "What nonsense." Elijah looked at him helplessly and shook his head.
The Duncan Family's estate is located in the outskirts of the city, with some small scenic spots around and some tourist attractions under development. Victoria looked into the distance and could see some tourists coming and going. Brandon walked far ahead, ignoring her all day. Victoria could only shrug her nose and follow him in.
When they returned to the room, Brandon was not there. Victoria was very tired and fell asleep on the bed. When Brandon came back and saw the girl lying on the bed, already in a deep sleep, he couldn't help but stroke her hair and cheek, but she suddenly woke up. Her even breathing accompanied her sleeping face, looking like a child.
She jumped up in surprise. "Brandon, you're back." Brandon grunted heavily. "Am I that scary?"
Victoria rolled her eyes and walked out, still wondering what had just happened. Anyone would be startled by a man suddenly appearing at the foot of their bed while they were sleeping.
But...did she just feel someone touching her face? Was it just her imagination? Brandon stood in the wind, looking outside. He paused and then remembered something, so he opened his browser search bar.
Meanwhile, Victoria finished washing up and came out to see Elijah walking towards her. "Madam, Mr. Brandon asks you to change your clothes and go out with him."
"Go out?"
"Yes, there's a newly built tourist area outside. Mr. Brandon wants to take you there."
"..."
Did she hear him correctly? Brandon wanted to take her shopping?
Before Victoria could think too much, Elijah urged her to hurry up and change her clothes. When she stepped outside, she saw Brandon dressed in black, his expression already showing impatience.
"Why are you so slow?"
"Sir, let's go quickly. It will be dark soon," Elijah said with a smile as he pushed Victoria out.
Brandon gave Victoria a slightly awkward glance before striding out of the room. "Hey, sir..." Elijah thought helplessly from behind, wondering why his boss couldn't even wait for his date. He had thought Brandon was finally coming around.
They rode in the car until they reached a street filled with the scent of fireworks, and Victoria couldn't help but wonder if she was dreaming. How could something so bizarre be happening?
As they got out of the car, Brandon looked up and saw the rundown street, filled with smoke and firework debris. He paused for a moment and furrowed his brow, even glancing at the woman beside him. Victoria felt his gaze and swallowed nervously. Why was he looking at her like that?
Then she realized it was because of his attire. His all-black, high-end suit stood out in this place like a sore thumb. "Should we go somewhere else?" she suggested, thinking that they had no reason to be here. It was just too strange.
Brandon's eyes flashed as he looked at her deeply, then strode forward without a word. Victoria had no choice but to follow from behind.
"Why did you suddenly want to come here?" she asked curiously.
"I just wanted to take a look," he replied in a tone that gave nothing away. Just then, a child ran into them, and Victoria quickly pulled him aside. However, there were still some water stains on his shoes, and he made a hissing sound while looking at her with a disgusted expression.
Victoria quickly said, "Is everything okay?"
Brandon's face had become even colder.
"Why would you like to come to a place like this?" He glared at the woman beside him in anger.
Victoria looked innocent, "But didn't you want to come here..."
"...," Brandon pursed his lips tightly.
Seeing his reaction, she quickly said, "No, there are actually some good things here. Come on, let me take you to try some delicious food. These snack streets usually have some strange things to eat, things you've never tried before." Since they were already here, she couldn't let him keep disliking it.
Victoria pulled his sleeve.
Brandon took a deep breath and finally followed her.
Victoria led him to a snack shop, "Look, this is Ai Cao Qing Tuan, it's pretty good. Let's buy two and try them."
Brandon nodded as she bought the food.
She smiled and handed him a piece, "Try it."
Watching her delicate and fair fingertips pass the food to him, Brandon hesitated for a moment before opening his mouth.
It wasn't delicious, but it wasn't bad either.
He came to a conclusion. Victoria quickly took him to another shop and soon a pile of fans came up to them.
Victoria introduced each one to him. Seeing him sitting on the old stool with his long legs nowhere to put them, she couldn't help but laugh.
Brandon caught Victoria's expression and frowned, "What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing... I was just curious about why you came here," she replied.
"Don't all you girls like coming here? I was wondering why anyone would come to such a dirty place," he looked around.
"What? Who said all girls like coming here? This is a university area, where university students like to hang out. I used to come here when I was in college, but I don't go as often now. I prefer shopping malls with air conditioning," she explained.
 "..."
Brandon decided to go back and fix his browser's search recommendations. Why did it say that all girls like coming here?
Victoria noticed his confusion and quickly added, "But there's still fun to be had here. Come on, try this," as she offered him a snack.
Later, some people noticed the two of them. The man's out-of-place appearance was too obvious, making it seem as if some wealthy young master was here incognito. "Who's that handsome guy over there?"
"Yeah, he's so good-looking."
"Should we go over and ask for his WeChat?"
"He probably has a girlfriend next to him."
"So what?"
As they spoke, a girl who looked about seventeen or eighteen walked over.
"Hey handsome, we're university students around here. Are you a senior or a teacher? Do you want to exchange WeChat?" she asked.
Brandon's brow furrowed tightly.
