People around them looked on with gleeful anticipation.
Flora's face turned bright red.
"Shut up! Shut up! Don't say it!"
I raised my eyebrows and looked at her coldly with a sneer."You dare to do it, so why can't I talk about it?"
"You..."
Flora was furious.
I curled my lip, gripped Jason's hand tightly as if declaring ownership, and pulled him away with big strides.
What bad luck!
Flora had completely ruined my good mood.
That evening, Jason and I had dinner at the resort's restaurant.
On the way back to our room, I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure sneaking ahead.
I frowned slightly.
If I remembered correctly, there was only one SVIP suite on this floor—the one Jason had booked.
What was Flora doing here?
I stopped walking.
Jason looked puzzled, "Honey? Do you want to walk around somewhere else?"
Thinking of the person who had snuck in, I tugged at the corner of my mouth.
“Sure. I ate a bit too much tonight. Let's take a walk before heading back."
I wanted to see what she could pull off if I gave her enough time.
SVIP Suite.
As soon as Flora entered the room, she rushed straight to the bedroom.
Her eyes were full of resentment as she cursed under her breath.
"Damn Sue! Bitch! Trash! How dare she embarrass me in front of so many people! She's just relying on her ability to seduce Jason!"
When she mentioned Jason, Flora's pretty face flushed slightly, her eyes full of longing.
"It's okay. Jason's just been fooled by her. As long as Jason is willing to give me a try, he'll know that bitch Sue is nothing!"
"Jason..."
Flora murmured almost obsessively.
She pulled out her phone and sent a message to Ember.
Ember: [Mom, contact the reporters now. I'll send you the address...]
This time, she was determined to spend the night with Jason!
Once she became Jason's woman, she would make me kneel before her and cry in regret!
Flora strode into the bathroom, and soon the sound of running water could be heard.
I strolled outside with Jason for quite a while.

"Honey, I feel like you're hiding something from me."
"Really?"

Jason frowned.
"When we got off the elevator earlier, I saw Flora go into our room. No idea what she's up to."
I told him the truth.
At the mention of Flora’s name, Jason’s demeanor darkened.
His brow furrowed. “She’s got some nerve.”
"Who knows?"
I looked at the handsome Jason beside me with a half-smile and teased, "Maybe someone is so charming that Flora can't help but fly into the flame like a moth?"
Jason shook his head helplessly and gently pinched my cheek.
"I'd rather this charm only worked on a certain someone."
I smiled.
"I guess it's about time now. Should we go take a look?"
"No rush. Let me call some people over first."
Jason pulled out his phone to make a call.
While waiting, he added, "After all, for such a carefully prepared show, we need enough of an audience to make it worthwhile, don't you think?"
I nodded noncommittally.
I had no good feelings towards Flora whatsoever.
From the start, she'd caused me nothing but trouble.
And now she actually wanted to sleep with Jason.
She clearly didn't take me seriously at all.
At least right now, I was Jason's legal wife, and I was still right here beside Jason!
I curled my lip.
The Miller family really was a bunch of disgusting hypocrites.
First Tyler showed up at Polaris Company to cause me trouble, now Flora was trying to seduce Jason.
Could this family just stay away from my life?
Jason finished his call.
He took my hand and strode toward the SVIP suite.
"Let's go see what surprises await us."
I had originally worried that if we just walked in together and saw something disgusting, what would we do?
But when I saw several men waiting respectfully at the door, I finally understood.
These men looked somewhat familiar.
They seemed to be the ones who had come to the hot spring resort with Flora before.
I hadn't expected Jason to call them over.
"Mr. Cooper."
When the men saw Jason, they immediately greeted him respectfully.
Jason nodded slightly.
"Flora is waiting for you inside. Go on in."
The men responded and entered the room one by one.
Jason stood at the door without going in. I stood beside him curiously.
"You specifically called them over?"
"This is just part of it. Since Flora is being so proactive, we should at least give her a proper response in return, right?"
Jason deliberately kept it mysterious.
I had to stop asking questions.
The door wasn't closed, so we could clearly hear what was happening inside.
Flora's voice came out sweet and seductive, "Jason."
I shuddered hard and quickly rubbed the goosebumps on my arms.
Then came sounds that made one's face flush and heart race, intermittent and continuous.
I looked at Jason meaningfully, stood on my tiptoes, and reached up to cover his ears.
Jason wrapped his arm around my waist and looked at me with amusement.
"What are you doing? Only your voice can get a reaction from me. Don't worry."
As he spoke, he lowered his head and gently pecked my lips.
I was still a bit jealous.
This was the first time I'd stood outside a door, listening to such sounds at such close range.
It was somewhat awkward.
I cleared my throat lightly.
"Several men went in. Even if Flora is stupid, she should have noticed something's wrong by now, right? Why are the sounds getting louder?"
Jason shrugged, "Who knows?"
The sounds from inside the room grew more and more intense.
The corner of my mouth twitched, "Let's get a new room tonight. I don't want to sleep here."
"My thoughts exactly."
Jason and I chatted casually outside.
Inside the room, Flora was clearly extremely excited.
"Jason, you're so good" on one side, "Jason, more" on the other.
My gaze fell meaningfully on Jason.
"She really is deeply in love with you!"
Jason snorted and held me tightly.
"That's her business. In my heart, there's only my wife. What others do has nothing to do with me."
Just then, sounds came from the elevator area, followed by a large group of reporters rushing over with cameras.
Following behind them was a woman crying out.
"My daughter! Everyone must stand up for our family! That beast Jason..."
Her words stopped abruptly when she saw Jason standing calmly at the door.
The reporters who had come hoping to capture some wealthy family gossip were also stunned in place, looking at each other.
Ember looked at Jason with shock and suspicion, "Why are you here?"
"Where else should I be?"
Jason asked back.
Ember: "You should be inside the room right now! Why are you at the door?"
