Chapter 361 Disgusted with Him
The second Sloane hired private investigator Atlas to look into Timothy and the others, Timothy found out about it.
Because of what happened when Seraphina went missing as a child, Timothy understood his own shortcomings when it came to controlling information.
Almost all the private investigators in Border Ridge City worked for Timothy.
"Elizabeth, Sloane hired an investigator to find out if we had a baby boy together." Timothy crushed the grapes in his hand with a scornful laugh.
Clearly, Timothy was very angry.
Elizabeth looked at Timothy with distaste. "Grapes are for eating, not wasting. You don't need to feed me anymore, I'll eat them myself."
Timothy complained sadly, "I knew it, you don't love me anymore."
Just because of one grape, she was already annoyed with him.
He pulled out a tissue to wipe his hands, then went to wash them properly before coming back to sit beside Elizabeth.
Elizabeth ate the grapes herself while addressing what Timothy had just mentioned. "Since Sloane wants to know, let her find out that Seraphina didn't die. But Brandon is still young, don't let Sloane know about him."
Timothy frowned. "I..."
Elizabeth popped a grape directly into Timothy's mouth and said gently but firmly, "Don't talk yet, let me finish. Seraphina is grown up now. If she's going to take over managing the company in the future, she'll be in the public eye. She needs to be smart and capable, otherwise people will easily manipulate her. Sloane and the others are perfect for Seraphina to deal with."
Timothy still didn't want to agree, his brow furrowed.
Elizabeth glared at Timothy, her tone gentle. "Mr. Robinson, I understand your concern, but we need to let Seraphina grow independently. If she's going to take over the company in the future, she must learn to handle all kinds of complicated situations."
In this family, the one who spoiled Seraphina the most was Timothy.
Although Elizabeth loved both Seraphina and Brandon, she would still discipline them when necessary.
"Mr. Robinson, I want to see if Seraphina actually has the ability to deal with them, and whether she's suitable for managing the company."
Timothy heard the determination in Elizabeth's voice. He sighed softly. "You really want to leave it for Seraphina to handle herself?"
Elizabeth nodded. She had to harden her heart and let go. She wanted to let Seraphina venture out on her own. "Don't you want to see how far our Seraphina can go?"
Timothy finally nodded. "I'll listen to you."
He sent a message to his people.
Elizabeth curiously asked about Joe. "Did Joe go to Solstice to find Sarah?"
Timothy finished sending his message and put his phone on the table. "Yes. Elizabeth, your husband wants to eat grapes."
Elizabeth laughed and fed Timothy more grapes.
About ten years ago, when Joe and Sarah announced they were dating, Elizabeth and Timothy were quite surprised.
After Elizabeth finished the grapes and washed her hands, she checked her phone messages.
In the group chat named [Three Beautiful Women], Mabel and Sarah had already sent 99+ messages.
Elizabeth joined the conversation. [You two are pretty free today?]
Mabel: [Elizabeth, I'll come back for Mr. Robinson's birthday]
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. [Just you? Or bringing the whole family?]
Mabel: [Of course just me! Bringing those two father and son is too annoying]
Elizabeth smiled when she saw Mabel's message. She turned to Timothy and said, "Mabel is planning to come back to celebrate your birthday."
Timothy immediately showed a disgusted expression. "Tell her not to come. I only want to celebrate my birthday with you. I don't want a bunch of people disturbing us. If she comes back, I'll be miserable. I won't get to see my wife for several days!"
Elizabeth ignored Timothy's protest. Every time Mabel came back to the country, the two of them would go out together, leaving Timothy at home feeling annoyed.
Seeing that Elizabeth was ignoring him, Timothy tried a different approach and sent a message to Alfonso. [Hide Mabel's passport]
Alfonso, far away on the West Coast, looked at Timothy's message and rolled his eyes. [Mr. Robinson, do you think I have the ability to hide her passport? Right now I'm trying to figure out how to go back with Mabel]
Timothy looked at the message and cursed. [Useless man!]
Alfonso sneered. [Right, I'm useless]
Their positions in their families were the same - who was he to laugh at whom?
Unlike these two men going at each other, the women got along peacefully and lovingly.
Seeing that Mabel was coming back, Sarah also said she'd return. [Elizabeth, I'm coming back too!]
Elizabeth replied with amusement. [Didn't Joe just go to Solstice to find you?]
Sarah replied calmly. [I'll book him an extra ticket, we'll come back together]
Sarah was pretty considerate - at least she'd bring Joe along.
Elizabeth, Mabel, and Sarah made their plans.
When Timothy found out that Sarah was also coming back, he wondered if it was really his birthday. Why wasn't anyone listening to the birthday person's wish to not be disturbed?
Elizabeth, Mabel, and Sarah would be out playing day and night.
At 4:30 PM, kindergarten dismissal time.
Brandon walked out of the school gates with his hands in his pockets, looking proud.
Today he'd gained another friend who would offer him snacks.
He was so proud of himself!
This was great news he had to tell Elizabeth when he got home!
Timothy noticed Brandon's proud little manner. Today he was taking Brandon to get a haircut. When they got to the salon, he whispered to the hairdresser, "Shave his head bald, thanks."
Brandon had no idea that Timothy was about to mess with his hair.
Shaving a head bald was simple, done in just a few minutes.
So a few minutes later, when Brandon walked out of the salon with his little hand touching his smooth head, Brandon was upset.
"Dad, where's my hair?"
After Brandon climbed into the car, he finally couldn't control his sad feelings and cried.
He had no hair, he'd become ugly!
Timothy felt guilty. He cleared his throat and patted Brandon's head, very kindly. "Our Brandon looks so handsome and cute like this. When your mommy and sister see you, they'll definitely love Brandon very much."
Brandon's long, curled eyelashes still had tears on them. "Really? Will Mommy and sister really like me a lot?"
Timothy nodded. "Yes, definitely!"
Brandon stopped crying. He asked, "Will Mommy and them like me more and not like Daddy?"
Timothy said, "Nice try."
Timothy pulled out a tissue to wipe Brandon's tears.
Four-year-old Brandon needed to learn to wash his own hair, so Timothy just gave him a buzz cut.
Washing hair - so convenient.
When Timothy and Brandon got home.
Elizabeth heard Brandon calling her and came out of the bedroom. The first thing she saw was Brandon's smooth head. She instinctively looked at Timothy and fell silent.
She was so annoyed! Her son Brandon had become a little baldy!
Timothy gave Elizabeth a gentle smile, feeling guilty. "Elizabeth, we're home."
Elizabeth glanced at him: Obviously, I can see that.
That evening, when Seraphina came home from work and saw cute Brandon had become a little baldy.
Without a word, she kissed Brandon's smooth head. "How can Brandon be so cute?"
Brandon covered his head, feeling shy. Timothy was right - Seraphina really liked Brandon's bald head.
Brandon secretly decided that he'd shave his head from now on!
Timothy and the others didn't know what Brandon was thinking yet.
At dinner, Seraphina mentioned bringing Stefan home to visit.
Timothy smiled. "Seraphina, have you met his family? When two people are together, both families' attitudes are very important. Your mom and I, as long as you're happy, we won't have any objections."
Seraphina poured Timothy a cup of tea. "Dad, you mean you want me to meet his family first?"
Timothy nodded. "Yes."
Elizabeth looked at Seraphina, her eyes full of tenderness. "What your dad means is what I mean. As long as you're happy, we won't stop you. Go meet his family first."
