Chapter 250 I Love Him

Chapter 250 I Love Him

Elizabeth sat on the sofa, listening to Robbie's report.

"On Maddox's first day as chairman, he used your plan to handle the Silicon Express shipwreck and smuggling incident. The Sherman Group's stock price has now stabilized," Robbie said.

Elizabeth nodded—it was just as she'd expected. "Have they traced the source of those smuggled goods yet?"

Robbie replied, "We have some preliminary leads."

Elizabeth nodded. "Arrange for the team to speed up the investigation, and pass a message to that woman by Maddox's side—tell her I can help her."

Robbie nodded.

Timothy wasn't home today. He'd gone to have a chat about life with Nova and the other kids' parents.

After finishing his report, Robbie left.

Mabel called Elizabeth, and learning she was home alone, she snuck out to see her while Alfonso was taking a shower.

Mabel and Elizabeth curled up on the sofa together, each holding a big watermelon and eating it with spoons, enjoying this rare moment of leisure.

"This is amazing," Mabel said contentedly.

"I think so too," Elizabeth replied with a smile.

Mabel asked curiously, "Where did Mr. Robinson go?"

"He went to chat with Nova and the other kids' parents," Elizabeth explained. "A couple of days ago when we went to the orchard in Skylake District, Seraphina and I ran into Nova and the others. They said some things they shouldn't have."

Mabel's eyes widened in surprise. "What? That happened?"

Elizabeth nodded. "Yeah, Mr. Robinson was really angry, so he decided to go talk to their parents himself."

As they were chatting, Mabel's phone rang—Alfonso was suddenly calling.

Mabel quietly pretended not to hear and kept chatting with Elizabeth.

The ringing stopped, and then Alfonso sent her a message: [Mabel Darling, are you trying to skip out on paying me back?]

Mabel was speechless. She put down her spoon and replied: [I'm at Elizabeth's place, I'll be back in a bit]

Elizabeth glanced at Mabel and smiled. "Mabel, your own happiness is what matters most."

Mabel nodded. "I know. By the way, how are the wedding preparations going? Need any help?"

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Robinson has already arranged everything. He doesn't need us."

Elizabeth herself had plenty of free time too.

Timothy and Elizabeth's wedding preparations were in full swing.

Timothy had started having his team publicize his and Elizabeth's marriage these past few days.

He'd always kept a low profile, and the media rarely got to report on his affairs.

But this time Timothy chose to go public in a big way, mainly because years ago Manuel had announced Emma to the public, which had really embarrassed Elizabeth.

Timothy decided to use this wedding as an opportunity to set the record straight.

He had the PR team announce several important pieces of information:

#Elizabeth has always been the only woman Timothy pursued#

#Emma was the one Manuel loved#

#Tommy and Jane, born to Emma, have a different father#

Once this information was released, it immediately caused a huge stir among the media and public.

Major media outlets rushed to cover Timothy and Elizabeth's wedding and analyzed the information Timothy had released in detail.

When Elizabeth saw these media reports, she smiled. She knew Timothy was doing this for her reputation and dignity.

That night at bedtime, Elizabeth rolled over and sat on Timothy's stomach, leaning against his chest.

She gently leaned in and kissed his lips. "Thank you, Mr. Robinson."

Timothy smiled, his abs lifting her up as he responded in a low, sexy voice, "This is what I should have done all along."

The atmosphere between the couple was warm and sweet.

However, the atmosphere at The Robinson Mansion was completely different.

Manuel sat in his study with a cold expression, lost in thought for a long time, then picked up the phone and called Sam.

"Arrange for a lawyer to come tomorrow. I need to change my will," Manuel said coldly.

Manuel decided to leave all his assets after his death to Tommy and Jane.

Just then, Cecilia pushed open the study door, holding a glass of milk.

She happened to hear Manuel's phone call. Her hands trembled slightly, and she was thrilled inside.

She tried to stay calm as she walked over, set down the milk, and said softly, "Mr. Robinson, you should rest soon. It's getting late."

Manuel looked up at her. "You go rest first. I'll be there in a bit."

Cecilia nodded. She returned to her room, her eyes showing excited delight.

The next day.

Sam brought a lawyer to The Robinson Mansion.

Manuel explained his intentions for changing the will in detail. The lawyer recorded everything and prepared new will documents.

Manuel signed the new will.

Manuel had officially left his assets to Tommy and Jane.

The Nightingale Mansion.

Russell and Freya had also been incredibly busy lately. Elizabeth's wedding was such a big event, and there was so much to prepare.

Elizabeth would be leaving from home as a bride, so she needed to stay at The Nightingale Mansion the night before.

Timothy almost brought Seraphina along to stay at The Nightingale Mansion with Elizabeth.

Elizabeth, already in her bedroom at The Nightingale Mansion, hugged her blanket and thought about Timothy's rare childish side, laughing quietly to herself.

She rolled around on the bed a few times.

On the wedding day, the weather was clear and sunny.

The Nightingale Mansion was filled with festive atmosphere everywhere.

In Elizabeth's room, the makeup team was busy getting her ready.

Mabel, serving as the bridesmaid, was particularly lively today.

She pretended to hold a microphone and walked up to Elizabeth, asking with a smile, "Elizabeth, are you excited today?"

A female bodyguard in charge of filming held a camera, capturing this moment.

Elizabeth looked at herself in the mirror and answered with a bright smile, "Of course I'm excited."

Mabel continued asking, "Do you have anything you want to say to Mr. Robinson today?"

Elizabeth smiled gently, her gaze tender. She turned to look at the camera. "I want to tell Mr. Robinson that I love him."

This moment was captured as if frozen in time.

Timothy would go to The Nightingale Mansion to pick up his bride.

They chose to hold the wedding at a castle Timothy owned, and all the guests were already waiting at the castle.

Timothy's gaze became incredibly tender the moment he saw Elizabeth.

Elizabeth wore a pure white wedding dress, looking elegant and beautiful.

No extra words were needed—the two of them had eyes only for each other.

Alfonso was the best man today. Standing beside Timothy, he glanced several times at Mabel, who couldn't stop smiling. She looked a bit silly.

From The Nightingale Mansion to the castle was about half an hour's drive.

"Where's Seraphina?" Elizabeth asked, letting Timothy hold her hand.

"Seraphina is the flower girl today. She's waiting for us at the castle. Elizabeth, thank you." In a moment no one else could see, Timothy's deep eyes showed a flash of tears.

The castle was decorated like a fairyland, with flowers and greenery complementing each other beautifully.

As the music began, Elizabeth walked slowly toward the main stage, holding Russell's arm.

The flower children were Seraphina and Stanley from the Sanchez family. The two of them adorably scattered flower petals.

Elara watched Seraphina on stage with a smile, then turned to Aurelia and said, "Mrs. Nightingale's granddaughter is so cute, and she has such a good face."

Aurelia smiled. "She is quite cute."

Manuel sat in the first row, with Cecilia and Jane beside him.

Jane had just been discharged from the hospital yesterday, and today she was clinging to Cecilia.

Jane was being so clingy that there was no choice—Cecilia had to bring her to the wedding.
