Chapter 236 Younger Siblings?
Emma's heart was filled with panic and rage.
Emma wished she could beat Elara to death.
Emma didn't dare delay any longer. After packing up her important belongings, she pulled her suitcase with trembling hands.
"As long as I get out of the country, Timothy will never catch me!" Emma tried to calm herself down with this thought.
Emma opened her bedroom door, and suddenly she heard footsteps coming from downstairs.
Her heart tightened sharply. She quickly closed the door and locked it.
They're here, they're here. What do I do, what do I do?
Emma pulled out her phone and called Herschel. She called twice, but Herschel didn't answer.
Despair.
Who else could help her?
She gritted her teeth and called Cecilia.
"Cecilia, please, ask Mr. Robinson to help me." Her voice grew more and more frantic.
"Emma, what happened? Don't panic, I'll go find Mr. Robinson." Cecilia was surprised for a moment, then said soothingly in a gentle voice.
Manuel was in the piano room listening to Jane play the piano. "Our Jane is amazing."
Jane smiled happily and lifted her head proudly. "Thank you, Grandpa!"
Just then, Cecilia quietly walked into the piano room, smiled at Manuel, and lowered her voice. "Mr. Robinson, Emma urgently needs to speak with you."
Manuel's brow furrowed slightly.
Cecilia said, "Her voice sounds very panicked. She says it's urgent and is asking for your help."
Manuel put down his teacup, stood up, and left the piano room first.
Cecilia followed Manuel out of the piano room and handed him her phone, which was still on the call.
Manuel took the phone and asked in a deep voice, "What happened?"
Emma gripped her phone tightly, her eyes full of despair. "Mr. Robinson, Timothy sent people to catch me. I... I don't know what to do. Please, for Jane and Tommy's sake, help me. I promise I'll never come back to the country."
As she was speaking, Emma seemed to hear footsteps in the hallway. She covered her mouth in terror and quickly ran into the bathroom, swiftly locking the door.
Manuel frowned and hung up the phone. He returned the phone to Cecilia, then walked back into the piano room, clearly unwilling to get involved in Emma's affairs.
Emma heard the phone being hung up. Her eyes filled with despair and fear as she stared at her phone desperately.
Who else could save her!
Cecilia entered the dance studio next to the piano room and quickly called Emma back, speaking as fast as she could. "Emma, listen to me. Record a video and send it to me. When Jane and Tommy grow up, I'll show it to them. You're their mother. Don't worry, I won't watch it."
Cecilia hung up right after saying this. A faint smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, and her eyes were cold.
She believed Emma would record the video, because it was the only thing she could leave for Jane and Tommy.
Emma pushed back her messy hair, bit her lip, and pressed the record button.
She looked at her phone screen and tried to keep her voice calm. "Jane, Tommy, when you grow up, you must remember that I will always love you."
"I did many wrong things. The worst one was falling in love with him. I can't be with you anymore. I hope you can forgive me."
"Your father loves Elizabeth very much. I lost, completely lost. I'm going to die. When you grow up, just pretend you don't have a father. Be good and listen to Grandpa."
After recording the video, Emma pressed send and sent the video to Cecilia, then quickly deleted it and flushed her phone down the toilet.
Emma sat powerlessly on the floor, her mind blank, with a crazed smile at the corner of her mouth.
Her Jane had always longed for a father since she was little, and Tommy was such a calm and smart child.
They would avenge her!
Meanwhile, Cecilia saved the video. She put away her phone, adjusted her emotions, and walked out of the dance studio.
Whenever Cecilia thought of her two grandchildren Armando and Mindy, and thought of her poor daughter Beatrix, she deeply hated Timothy and Elizabeth.
Cecilia walked back into the piano room with a smile. "Jane, today's practice was great. Be good and go rest now, okay?"
Jane smiled sweetly. "Okay."
After Jane left the piano room with the nanny.
Only then did Cecilia turn to look at Manuel, her expression showing some worry and pleading. "Mr. Robinson, I want to go abroad with the children. I need to take care of Jane and Tommy. They're still so young. I'm not comfortable leaving them only with nannies."
Manuel was surprised. "Cecilia, are you serious?"
Cecilia nodded and sighed. "I've watched them grow up since they were little. Jane and Tommy are both very good children. They need someone familiar with them when they go abroad."
After a moment of silence, Manuel finally nodded. "Alright, I'll make time to visit you all every month."
Cecilia smiled. "With me there, the two children should feel more at ease."
Manuel sighed softly. "Thank you for this. I'm entrusting Jane and the others to you."
Cecilia nodded with a smile. "Mr. Robinson, don't worry. I'll take good care of them. There's one more thing—I want to take Sloane abroad too."
"You mean Sloane?" Manuel asked, puzzled. "Why do you suddenly want to take Sloane abroad?"
Cecilia sighed. "Armando married the Potts family's daughter, and he doesn't have time to care about Sloane. I feel sorry for the child."
Manuel had no objection. "You can decide for yourself. You can have Sam handle the school matters."
Cecilia smiled and said helplessly, "I'm already old. Why do I still have to worry about my grandchildren's affairs?"
Manuel gently patted her hand. He thought of Timothy, who had always been disobedient.
Timothy and Elizabeth had just gotten home when he received a call from his subordinate.
"Mr. Robinson, we caught Emma, but her phone might have been flushed down the toilet. We tracked the people she contacted after going home. One is at Meadowland Inn—we've already sent people to Meadowland Inn. The other location we tracked is The Robinson Mansion."
Timothy raised an eyebrow. "Follow the original plan and send her in. Try to find that phone of hers."
"Yes."
Timothy hung up the phone and looked at Elizabeth with a gentle smile. "Are you free tomorrow? Remember our candlelit dinner?"
They walked into the house. Elizabeth changed her shoes while saying with amusement, "I remember. I'll make up that candlelit dinner for you tomorrow."
Timothy nodded with satisfaction.
They walked into the living room. Seraphina was listening to Alfonso tell a story.
When she saw Timothy and Elizabeth come back, she immediately ran over. "Mommy, Daddy, you're back!"
Alfonso stood up. He nodded at Timothy with a cold face. "I'm leaving."
Seraphina lifted her little face, reluctant to see him go. "Alfonso, good night."
Alfonso's cold expression softened slightly. "Seraphina, good night."
He gently patted her little head, then turned and left.
Alfonso hadn't gone far when he heard Seraphina say something shocking. "Daddy, Seraphina is going to have a little brother or sister soon."
Seraphina's tone was both happy and excited.
Elizabeth was very confused.
Whenever she and Timothy made love, they were very careful about taking contraceptive measures.
Alfonso's steps paused. He couldn't help but look back.
Timothy smiled and crouched down to look at Seraphina, asking gently, "Seraphina, where's this little brother or sister coming from?"
Alfonso quickly walked away with big strides.
Seraphina blinked. "Alfonso said so. He and Mabel will soon have a baby to play with me."
Elizabeth asked Timothy with confusion and surprise, "Mabel is pregnant?"
Timothy stood up and shook his head innocently. He had no idea.
