Chapter 415: Go to Majestic City
"Elizabeth, we've arrived in Majestic City. Will you guys get here in the afternoon?"
Mabel was on her phone while Alfonso pulled their luggage with one hand and guided her out protectively.
Tomorrow was Seraphina and Stefan's wedding. They had come back specifically to attend the ceremony.
Elizabeth was directing Timothy and Brandon to pack their luggage. She held the phone between her ear and shoulder while helping Brandon with his clothes. "Mabel, we won't arrive in Majestic City until this afternoon. You guys go rest at the hotel first."
Mabel laughed, "Okay, then we'll wait for you at the hotel."
After hanging up, Elizabeth asked Brandon, "Honey, where's Seraphina?"
Brandon was carefully folding his clothes into neat squares. He tilted his head and looked at Elizabeth. "Seraphina seems to be in the study."
Elizabeth looked at Timothy and said helplessly, "Even at a time like this, Seraphina's mind is still on work. Brandon, go tell Seraphina to get ready."
Hearing Elizabeth's instruction, Brandon immediately put down the clothes he was folding and hopped out of the room.
He went to the study and knocked on the door before pushing it open.
He poked his little head in. "Seraphina, Mommy says you need to get ready."
Seraphina was handling company matters. Hearing her brother's voice, she looked up and smiled. "Okay, I'm coming."
She stood up, rubbed her somewhat tired neck, and walked out of the study.
At noon, the family finished packing and headed to the airport.
Just as their car was about to reach the airport, Timothy received a call from Joe.
"Boss, something happened with Mrs. Nightingale."
Timothy put the call on speaker so Elizabeth could hear too.
Elizabeth frowned slightly. "What happened to her?"
Joe on the other end said respectfully, "Mrs. Nightingale was stabbed by Juniper. Juniper has been arrested by the police. The doctor says Mrs. Nightingale's condition is stable and she's not in life-threatening danger."
Hearing Joe's report, both Elizabeth and Timothy were surprised.
"Why would Juniper stab her?" Elizabeth was curious. "Don't tell me it's because of the Nightingale Group shares?"
Joe confirmed, "We've learned a bit so far. Apparently Juniper lost control of her emotions because Mrs. Nightingale wanted to sell the Nightingale Group shares to someone else. The two had an argument in the hospital room."
Elizabeth raised her eyebrows.
Timothy turned to look at her. "Should we go to the hospital to see Mrs. Nightingale?"
Elizabeth shook her head. "Since she's not in danger, we don't need to go right now. Something feels a bit strange about this."
Elizabeth's instinct was spot on.
This was all Freya's scheme to set up Juniper.
Timothy said to Joe on the phone, "Keep monitoring the situation there."
At that moment, at the hospital.
Freya lay in bed looking distressed. Her voice was weak as she spoke to Herschel. "Herschel, you must divorce Juniper."
Hearing Freya's words, Herschel's expression immediately became complicated.
Looking at Freya lying in the hospital bed, he felt conflicted.
"Freya, Juniper, she... she was impulsive, but divorce is..."
He hesitated, not knowing how to continue.
Freya's tone was firm, with a hint of pleading on her face. "Herschel, I know you two have been married for many years. After all these years together, you must have feelings for her. But she stabbed me. Someone with such a vicious heart, and you still want to defend her?"
The room fell silent for a moment.
Herschel said quietly, "Freya, I will think carefully about what you said. Your body needs rest right now. We can talk about divorce later."
Freya stared intently at Herschel, displeased.
She had been stabbed by Juniper, yet Herschel was still choosing to side with Juniper at a time like this. "Fine, I'll give you time to think."
Herschel nodded. He held Freya's hand and said as calmly as possible, "Freya, please rest well. I'll handle this matter."
Freya's eyes reddened and tears fell. "Herschel, I'm scared. She stabbed me with a knife. I'm just asking you to divorce her. Is that so hard?"
Gino was standing outside the hospital room. He heard Freya demanding that Herschel divorce Juniper.
The anger in Gino's heart ignited instantly.
He pushed open the door and rushed in, heading straight for Freya's bedside, his eyes full of fury.
"Grandma, how can you do this!" Gino said angrily. "My mom would never deliberately stab you with a knife. She's been so good to you all these years. Grandma, please don't force Mom and Dad to divorce!"
Seeing Gino's angry expression, Freya nearly died of anger.
Her voice became shrill. "I've been so good to you all these years. Is this how you repay me? Your mother stabbed me with a knife!"
Hearing Freya say this, Gino shook his head. "Grandma, my mom would never deliberately hurt you!"
Freya laughed coldly with disgust. "For the shares and assets I have, she's capable of anything."
Herschel glared at Gino. "Gino, this is adult business. Stay out of it. Don't upset your grandmother here. Get out."
"Dad..."
"Get out!"
Gino stood there. Seeing Herschel's stern look, he angrily turned and left the room.
"Freya, please rest well. I'll come see you later. About the divorce, I'll think it over carefully." Herschel turned and walked out of the room, his expression grave.
Meanwhile, at the airport.
Elizabeth and her family had already gone to the VIP lounge to wait for their flight.
In the lounge, Seraphina ran into Demetrius.
Seraphina had a polite smile on her face. "Mr. Kramer, are you going to Majestic City?"
"Yes," Demetrius saw Timothy and Elizabeth behind Seraphina. He immediately stood up and greeted them politely. "Mr. Robinson, Ms. Penrose, hello."
Timothy nodded with a faint smile.
Elizabeth smiled lightly. "Hello."
Demetrius was returning to Solstice next week and wouldn't be back in the country for a long time, so he planned to spend these few days in Majestic City with Cordelia and the others.
It was quite a coincidence that they all met today.
"Mr. Robinson, are you going to Majestic City for vacation?"
"We're going there for Seraphina's wedding." Timothy said with a casual smile.
Demetrius looked slightly surprised. "I see." He turned to Seraphina. "Congratulations."
Seraphina said, "Mr. Kramer, if you have time, you're welcome to attend my and Stefan's wedding."
She took out two wedding invitations from her bag, giving one to Demetrius and one to Gavin.
Demetrius and Gavin accepted the invitations and thanked her.
"If I'm free, I'll definitely attend."
When it was time to board, the group got on the plane.
After more than an hour, the plane landed in Majestic City.
Demetrius glanced at Stefan who had come to pick up Seraphina and the others. Demetrius and Gavin left the airport first.
"Prepare a wedding gift," Demetrius instructed.
"Okay, I need to prepare one too," Gavin smiled. "The Fairfax family matter has been handled. Adelaide has been sent abroad."
