Chapter 413: Go Fix Wilmer
After the bachelorette party ended, Seraphina was about to call Stefan.
Stanley sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, "I can just drive you home, you're really going to call him?"
Seraphina tilted her head and smiled, "What do you know? This is what you call romance between two people."
Stanley huffed twice in dissatisfaction.
He was single, he didn't understand romance.
Seraphina called Stefan, and the phone connected quickly. Before she could start speaking, she heard Stefan's warm voice.
"Seraphina, I'm right outside."
"What? You didn't go home?" Seraphina felt her face flush for some reason.
"No, I was worried you'd have to wait too long if I came to pick you up, so I've been waiting in the car." Stefan said with a laugh.
Hearing this, Seraphina couldn't help but smile, "I'll be right out."
She hung up the phone, said goodbye to Stanley, and quickly walked toward the door.
Stanley watched wistfully as Seraphina cheerfully rushed out of the club.
As soon as Seraphina walked out the club doors, she saw Stefan standing by the car.
When he saw her come out, he smiled. He opened the car door for her and took the bag from her hand.
The two got into the car.
"Did you have fun tonight?" Stefan asked.
Thinking of Stanley's special program arrangements, Seraphina held back her laughter and said with a faint smile, "It was okay."
Stefan unceremoniously reached out and pinched Seraphina's upturned lips, "Just okay? I don't think so, your smile is about to split your face."
Caught in her lie, Seraphina stopped pretending, "It was pretty fun, Stanley really knows how to put these things together."
The car arrived at Seraphina's house. Stefan watched Seraphina walk into her home before driving away.
Everyone was in the same social circle.
Tommy also knew that Stanley had thrown a bachelorette party for Seraphina.
But even knowing this, he didn't think much of it. He just casually mentioned it to Sloane while holding her in bed that night.
Sloane didn't really like chatting with Tommy. When she talked about company matters, he didn't understand.
And what he talked to her about was all just eating, drinking, and having fun. But tonight, the party Tommy mentioned actually caught her attention.
She felt both jealousy and envy.
She didn't have many friends.
Tommy's hand slipped into her nightgown, his palm resting on her stomach, "Sloane, I've been working so hard these past few days, could there already be a baby in here?"
Sloane smiled faintly, "It's not that fast."
"By the way, Sloane, Jane listens to you most. If possible, could you remind her not to do things that would anger Timothy?" Tommy was actually quite afraid Jane might lose her head and provoke Elizabeth and Seraphina.
Sloane's smile faded even more. She nodded, her tone gentle, "Don't worry, I'll try to talk her out of provoking Elizabeth and the others. After all, Timothy and Elizabeth aren't people we can mess with right now."
Hearing this, Tommy felt a bit more at ease. He gently held Sloane tighter and said in a low voice, "With you talking to her, I feel much better. I hope Jane will listen and not cause any trouble."
After saying this, he lifted her nightgown.
Sloane knew he wanted to have sex again. She didn't stop him, "Be gentle, I have to wear a dress tomorrow."
"Okay."
The next day, during lunch break, Sloane remembered what Tommy had mentioned last night about reminding Jane.
Sloane lowered her eyes, her gaze darkening.
She called Jane.
Jane had just woken up and was heading downstairs to get something to eat. She answered the phone, "Sloane?"
Sloane asked gently, "Jane, did you just wake up?"
"Yes."
"Tommy is very worried about you. He's worried you'll do something to anger Timothy. I'm worried about you too."
Hearing Sloane's words, Jane frowned slightly, her voice carrying a hint of dissatisfaction, "Sloane, I got it. Tommy is just a coward."
Sloane laughed softly and said reproachfully, "He's just concerned about you."
Jane pursed her lips, still sounding dissatisfied, "Tommy is just timid and afraid of Timothy. How is that caring about me? Tommy is just worried it'll affect his carefree lifestyle."
Sloane smiled, "Alright, we're all worried about you. After all, whether it's Timothy or Elizabeth, we can't go against them right now. Oh, I have something to give you, I'll bring it home for you tonight."
Thinking of Timothy's cold attitude, Jane muttered, "Fine, I got it."
After they hung up.
Sloane looked at the phone in her hand, smiling warmly. There was no way Jane would listen.
After lunch, Jane tidied up and prepared to go out.
She thought about what Sloane had just said and still felt unwilling, but she also knew she couldn't do anything right now.
Jane went to inspect her newly opened clothing brand store. All the clothing designs came from her studio.
The store was located in a prime spot in Border Ridge City's busy district.
The interior was decorated in a fashionable and grand style.
As soon as Jane walked into the store.
The store manager saw Jane coming and immediately greeted her respectfully, "Ms. Robinson."
Jane looked around and saw many customers trying on the clothes she designed. She felt very proud.
The corners of her mouth turned up slightly as she nodded with satisfaction.
"Adjust the arrangement here a bit." Jane said coolly. She was particular about perfect details.
"Yes, Ms. Robinson, I'll arrange it right away." The store manager quickly responded and immediately directed the staff to make adjustments.
After confirming everything was fine, Jane prepared to leave the store.
Looking up, Jane saw Seraphina and Stefan walking side by side in the corridor not far away, talking and laughing together.
Seeing this scene, Jane's good mood instantly plummeted, a flash of coldness in her eyes.
"What a narrow road for enemies," she thought coldly, though she acted as if nothing was wrong and walked forward.
Seraphina and Stefan also noticed Jane. Seraphina just glanced at her indifferently and then looked away.
Because of Sloane's reminder at lunch, Jane didn't go looking for trouble with Seraphina.
Just then, Jane's phone rang. Seeing it was Wilmer calling, she didn't really want to answer, but after thinking about it, since she was in a bad mood anyway, she might as well mess with Wilmer.
On the other end, Wilmer invited her out tonight. Jane agreed.
After hanging up, Jane turned to look at Seraphina and Stefan, and smiled coldly.
She dialed another number, "Find me a woman with an STD."
Jane was going to mess with Wilmer!
If anyone was to blame, it was Wilmer for being good friends with Stefan.
