Chapter 411: Timothy and Brandon Apologize to Each Other
Demetrius didn't want to deal with Adelaide, but his eyes landed on Brandon ahead.
It seemed like ignoring this wouldn't look good in front of Brandon.
Demetrius turned his head toward Gavin and lowered his voice, "Pack her up and send her back to The Fairfax Mansion. Tell the Fairfax family not to let her appear in front of me again."
Gavin said yes.
Gavin went back to lower Adelaide's guard, quickly and decisively grabbed the knife from her hand, handed her over to the bodyguards, and gave them some quiet instructions.
Brandon watched in shock, taking a few sips of milk to calm himself down.
That scared me.
After Demetrius and his group left, everyone in the hotel lobby finally breathed a sigh of relief.
They almost witnessed a suicide scene.
---
The hotel had a new little guest, around four years old with no hair.
The little guest was Brandon.
Brandon had run away from home tonight.
Brandon, being a kid, couldn't just run around anywhere, so he came to the hotel planning to book a fancy room to sleep in.
The receptionist Yara couldn't possibly check Brandon in, "Kid, where are your parents?"
Brandon stood on his tiptoes, one hand gripping the counter, the other steadily holding his milk bottle, "Ma'am, I have money. I'll pay to stay."
Brandon had been saving his allowance every year!
Yara really wanted to pat Brandon's hairless head. Brandon saying so seriously that he had money was just too cute, but right now the most important thing was to find Brandon's family.
"Little boy, do you know your mom and dad's phone numbers? Can you tell me?"
"I know, but I can't tell you."
"Why can't you tell me?"
"Because I'm running away from home!" Brandon pitifully took a few sips of milk.
He was so pitiful.
Yara fell silent, instantly feeling bad for Brandon's parents Elizabeth and Timothy. Brandon was so young and already knew how to run away from home. "Little boy, if you run away from home like this, your mom and dad will be sad."
"Dad doesn't love me anymore, he won't be sad. Ma'am, can I really not get a room?"
Yara was surprised. How could there be such a heartless father? Yara considered herself a kind and good girl.
"If you give me your mom and dad's phone numbers, I'll get you a room, okay?"
Brandon thought about it and nodded. Yara finally breathed a sigh of relief, then she watched as Brandon put his milk bottle on the counter, swung his backpack from his back to the front, and pulled out a phone from inside.
Yara fell silent. My mistake, so he has a phone.
Timothy received the call from the hotel receptionist Yara and wasn't surprised at all.
Brandon had bodyguards following him. Timothy knew wherever Brandon went.
Timothy said to Yara on the phone, "Thanks, someone will handle it."
After Timothy hung up, he called the bodyguards to help Brandon book a room.
Elizabeth said with amusement, "Still angry?"
Timothy snorted, "Not angry. Brandon is so young but already so stubborn. What will he be like when he grows up?"
However, ten minutes later, despite his tough words, Timothy went to change clothes, preparing to personally pick Brandon up from the hotel.
Elizabeth laughed without holding back. She teased, "Mr. Robinson, what are you going to do now?"
Timothy buttoned his cuffs while saying casually, "Well, I'm his father."
Elizabeth laughed even more happily, her eyes full of affection, "You as a father, you complain with your mouth but spoil Brandon more than anyone else."
Timothy snorted and said nothing more, quickly getting dressed and ready to leave.
Before leaving, he walked up to Elizabeth, bent down and kissed her, "Elizabeth, don't wait up for me, get some rest early."
Elizabeth nodded and smiled gently, "Okay, drive safe."
Timothy arrived at the hotel and went straight to Brandon's room. The bodyguard at the door opened it for him. There was another bodyguard inside the room.
When the bodyguard inside saw Timothy arrive, he left the room, giving Timothy and Brandon their space.
Timothy walked quietly to the bedside and glanced at Brandon, who was already asleep hugging his blanket.
He turned to see the milk bottle on the nightstand, his mouth twitching slightly.
Before running away from home, Brandon still remembered to have someone make him formula.
Timothy's eyes fell on Brandon's red nose. He had cried himself to sleep.
Timothy sighed inwardly.
Timothy sent Elizabeth a message saying he wouldn't be coming home tonight.
---
In the morning, Brandon woke up rubbing his eyes. Turning his head and seeing Timothy sleeping beside him, he happily moved closer to Timothy.
Timothy opened his eyes and saw Brandon grinning silly beside him. His face showed a gentle expression.
Seeing Timothy awake, Brandon said in a soft voice, "Dad, good morning!"
Timothy pinched Brandon's ear, "Brandon, about last night, I was wrong. I'm sorry."
Sometimes when Timothy disciplined Brandon, he would get angry.
Last night Timothy told Brandon to go take a bath and sleep early, but Brandon insisted on finishing his building block car before taking a bath.
Timothy said it several times, but Brandon wouldn't listen.
In his anger, Timothy directly took away Brandon's half-finished building block car and threw it in the trash.
Because of this, Timothy and Brandon got into an argument.
Brandon nuzzled Timothy's chest and said quietly, "Dad, I'm sorry. I was wrong."
Timothy patted Brandon's head, "We were both wrong."
"No, Dad wasn't wrong. I was naughty and didn't listen."
Brandon sniffled, wanting to cry but holding it back. He sat up from Timothy's arms, crawled down from the bed, puffed out his little chest, and stood at attention by the bed, "Dad, I'm sorry."
Brandon bowed to apologize to Timothy.
Timothy sat on the edge of the bed, his deep eyes watching Brandon seriously bowing in apology, feeling warm inside.
The corners of his lips curved up slightly.
After Timothy and Brandon cleared things up, they went to wash up first, then prepared to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast.
Timothy carried Brandon out of the room.
Demetrius didn't expect to see Brandon again.
When Demetrius saw Timothy holding Brandon, he recognized Timothy and immediately stopped, greeting him respectfully, "Mr. Robinson, hello."
Three years ago, Demetrius's father Gregory Kramer had an emergency, so Gregory had Demetrius personally deliver specially developed medicine for Timothy to Border Ridge City.
Demetrius and Timothy had met once back then.
Timothy smiled lightly, "Demetrius, how's your father doing lately?"
Demetrius replied respectfully, "Dad is doing well, eating and sleeping well."
Timothy smiled. He looked down at Brandon in his arms, "Brandon, say hello to Demetrius."
Brandon's big eyes stared at Demetrius, "Good morning Demetrius, my name is Brandon."
Demetrius looked at Brandon, his cold handsome face forcing out a slight smile, "Hello."
Brandon smiled brightly. Brandon turned his head slightly to look at Gavin and smiled at him.
Gavin could fight. Brandon liked that.
Gavin also showed Brandon a warm smile.
When the elevator arrived, Demetrius respectfully let Timothy and his group take it first.
After the elevator doors closed and Timothy's group left, Gavin asked quietly, "Boss, who was that?"
Demetrius, "The person in control behind the ElizaTimo Group."
Gavin was surprised, "Isn't that Ms. Penrose's father?"
Demetrius didn't know yet that Brandon was now telling Timothy about the scary thing from last night.
"Dad, last night there was a lady holding a knife to her neck talking to Demetrius."
That was as much as Brandon could understand.
Timothy turned his head toward the bodyguard.
The bodyguard quietly reported what had happened in the hotel lobby last night.
Timothy nodded after hearing it.
This matter had nothing to do with them.
