Chapter 337 His Everything
The matter of establishing the Whispering Town school has been settled.
Luca happily saw Elizabeth and the others out.
Elizabeth and her group returned to Bluebird Town.
To make up for his mistakes, Nolan quickly called Milan, "Mr. Runyon, this is Nolan. I visited Whispering Town a few months ago. I'd like to discuss the price for leasing the mountain land with you. Are you available?"
Hearing this, Milan immediately sat up straight. He turned off the TV, "Sure, I'm available."
Nolan asked, "I heard from Luca that you've moved to town. Where do you live? I'll pick a place for us to meet."
Milan smiled, "I live in Flower Garden in the Colorful Clouds District in town."
Nolan thought to himself, what a coincidence, "I'm also living in Flower Garden now, Building 6. How about you?"
Milan laughed, "Then we're really fated to meet. I live in Building 5."
"That's great. If it's convenient for you now, can I come over to discuss this?" Nolan said with a smile.
Milan didn't agree right away. After all, Seraphina was still at home, but it wasn't a big problem. He nodded and said, "Okay, 8th floor, Room 801."
Both parties hung up.
Milan walked over to Seraphina, who was kneeling on the floor mopping, reached out and grabbed her tiny arm, and lifted her straight up.
Seraphina was startled by Milan's sudden action and pressed her little lips tightly together, not daring to make a sound as she was lifted off the ground.
"Zara, where's the rope? Hurry up and bring it. A client is coming over to discuss business in a bit," Milan shouted toward the bedroom, his voice tinged with impatience.
Zara was sleeping too deeply in the room and didn't respond.
Milan carried Seraphina into the bedroom. He walked to the bed and pushed Zara, "Wake up! Sleeping like a dead pig!"
Zara was groggily woken by the shouting. Seeing Milan holding Seraphina by the bed, she immediately became alert.
Zara sat up in bed, "Why are you yelling so loud? You scared me."
"Stop talking nonsense. Hurry up and get the rope. A client is coming to discuss leasing the mountain land. We can't let her cause trouble," Milan said with a frown.
Seraphina's arm hurt from being held up, but she had learned to endure it silently.
Zara got out of bed, went to a box, took out a rope, and handed it to Milan, "Is someone really coming to lease the mountain land?"
"Yes. Go get the tape too," Milan took the rope and tied Seraphina's hands together, then brought her to a corner and coldly warned, "Stay here quietly. Don't make any noise. Do you hear me?"
Zara handed the tape to Milan, who sealed Seraphina's mouth with it.
Looking at Seraphina's bumpy and deformed ugly face, he frowned.
He hadn't expected her to look so ugly after the gauze was removed.
At that moment, there was a knock at the door.
Milan straightened his clothes and went to open the door. Zara also quickly changed her clothes and came out of the room, remembering to close the bedroom door behind her.
Nolan and Ryder stood at the door waiting for Milan to open it. They were each carrying a basket of fruit and a bouquet of flowers.
Milan opened the door and was happy to see they had brought fruit and flowers. He welcomed them in.
Nolan said politely, "Sorry to disturb you."
Milan shook his head, "No disturbance at all. Please come in, both of you."
Zara came out of the bedroom and happily poured water for them when she saw Nolan and the others.
Nolan and Ryder quickly exchanged glances. They already knew roughly how many people would be in Milan's home.
Zara shyly accepted a bouquet of flowers, and Milan also received one.
Nolan smiled, "Take a look at these flowers. They're fresh, beautiful, and fragrant. We plan to lease the mountain land to grow this kind of flower."
As soon as Nolan finished speaking, Milan and Zara, smelling the flower's fragrance, unconsciously lost consciousness.
Nolan stood up and went to open the door.
Timothy led Elizabeth by the hand and walked into the house, with Max and the others following behind.
The door closed.
Elizabeth's eyes showed both anticipation and nervousness.
Ryder had already gone to open a room door to look for Seraphina. He saw Mason wearing headphones playing a newly bought game in the room. Dealing with a little boy was easy for Ryder.
Nolan went to another room.
Timothy also pushed open a room door.
When he saw Seraphina with her hands and feet tied and her mouth taped, tears immediately welled up.
Elizabeth also saw Seraphina, and her heart nearly broke.
Although Seraphina's face had been ruined, Elizabeth still recognized her.
Elizabeth's tears flowed uncontrollably. She rushed over to untie the ropes on Seraphina.
Timothy held Elizabeth's trembling hand and said in a choked voice, "Let me do it."
Elizabeth nodded. She let Timothy untie the ropes while she gently peeled off the tape covering Seraphina's mouth, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I finally found you."
Seraphina suddenly burst into tears.
Timothy's eyes were red. Seeing Seraphina like this, his heart filled with deep anger.
Elizabeth didn't dare hug Seraphina tightly, afraid of hurting her.
Timothy gently patted Elizabeth's shoulder, "Elizabeth, let me hold Seraphina. Let's go to the hospital first for a checkup."
"Yes, yes, yes, let's go to the hospital first!" Elizabeth let Timothy pick up Seraphina, and Elizabeth stood up with trembling hands and feet. Her emotions were too intense.
Nolan and the others stood at the door, watching this scene, feeling very heavy-hearted.
Max contacted the hospital. Although the medical conditions here weren't great, they could at least do a basic physical examination first.
Timothy carried Seraphina out of the room, with Elizabeth tightly clutching Timothy's clothes and following beside him.
"Remember to teach them a lesson and then call the police. Arrange for a helicopter to be on standby." After Seraphina's physical examination, they needed to rush back to Border Ridge City, where the medical conditions were better.
Timothy took the clothes Max handed him and covered Seraphina with them. He stared coldly at the unconscious Milan and Zara and immediately left the Runyon family home.
Max immediately called to arrange for a helicopter.
The group quickly left Milan's home and headed to the nearest hospital.
On the way to the hospital, Timothy called the hospital director again.
He hoped to examine Seraphina himself.
He didn't want this dark chapter of Seraphina's life to be dug up and reported.
Elizabeth kept touching Seraphina and pressed her forehead against hers, "We're going home, baby. We're going home."
Seraphina, tired from crying, curled up in Elizabeth's arms.
After arriving at the hospital, Timothy quickly used the hospital's equipment to conduct a basic examination of Seraphina.
Elizabeth waited anxiously, her eyes full of worry.
Timothy examined every piece of data and result carefully, his eyes nearly red. They say men don't cry easily.
But right now, he wanted to cry.
Seraphina had several bruises and healed wounds on her body. "External injuries, malnutrition, and we need to get a psychologist. Most importantly, Seraphina's face will need long-term plastic surgery. This is just a preliminary examination. When we get back to Border Ridge City, we'll do blood tests."
Hearing this news, Elizabeth hugged Timothy tightly, suppressing her sobs. She cried out all the anxiety and unease she had been feeling.
The helicopter flew through the blue sky.
Taking their family toward home.
Elizabeth gently held Seraphina, and Timothy reached out with gentle eyes to embrace the mother and daughter.
Thinking of Rolf, whom he had locked up, Timothy's lips curved with coldness.
Elizabeth and Seraphina in his arms were his everything.
