Chapter 330 Once Regretted
Beatrix shouted some curses at the bitch's house across the street. She angrily turned around and went back inside, immediately calling Armando.
Once Armando picked up, she immediately told him about Brynn spending the night at Irvin's place.
Armando was just looking for an excuse to go abroad, claiming he needed to meet clients. Hearing Beatrix's angry voice, he said coldly, "Mom, I'll handle the Brynn situation. Stop getting involved."
Hearing Armando's calm tone, Beatrix was furious. "So I'm being nosy! If you like being cheated on, then keep this damn marriage going! She even said she's going to divorce you tomorrow."
Armando waited for Beatrix to finish yelling before hanging up. He frowned.
He couldn't divorce Brynn yet.
He still needed the Potts family as cover.
Anyway, before he left the country, he couldn't get divorced.
After Brynn left Irvin's place and got home, she started trying to contact Armando. She was ready to get divorced tomorrow.
She called several times but Armando didn't pick up.
"What the hell is he doing that he won't even answer the phone!"
Brynn's patience was running out. She decided to stop wasting time and directly contacted her father's secretary Tyrell. "Tyrell, can you check if Armando is at the office right now? I need to find him urgently."
Tyrell smiled, "Sure, I'll check right away."
After waiting a few minutes, Brynn finally got a call back from Tyrell. "Ms. Potts, Mr. Johnson is indeed at the office today, but he's currently in a meeting."
At the same time, in director Kimball's office, Armando was discussing overseas business with Kimball.
"If we can work with Lumaria this time, we can open up new markets for the Potts Group's tea." Armando said calmly.
Kimball nodded happily, "When are you planning to go to Lumaria to meet the clients?"
Armando was still waiting for news from Cecilia. It would probably take a few more days to arrange. He thought for a moment and said, "I'm planning to leave next week."
Kimball said, "Good. If we can open up new markets this time, it'll be thanks to you."
After everything was settled, Armando left the office with a faint smile.
He saw several missed calls from Brynn on his phone. He frowned but called her back anyway. "I just finished a meeting and saw you called several times. What's up?"
Brynn said bluntly, "We're going to get divorced tomorrow!"
Armando's expression turned cold. He said flatly, "Tomorrow doesn't work. Let's wait a bit. I'm kind of busy lately."
Brynn laughed coldly with displeasure. "Getting divorced only takes an hour. What are you so busy with? After the divorce, you won't need to keep working at the Potts Group anyway."
Armando's other hand gripped his pen tightly. He responded calmly, "I need to go abroad for business. This deal will help the Potts Group. We can talk about divorce after I'm done and come back."
Looks like he needed to leave the country earlier.
Brynn frowned. "How long will you be abroad?"
Armando said, "About a week."
Brynn snorted and hung up.
After Brynn hung up, Armando quickly sent a message to Cecilia, telling her he would be going to Lumaria earlier than planned.
Cecilia quickly replied: [Okay, be careful when you go abroad. I'll arrange everything. Someone will meet you there]
[I'll arrange for news about Seraphina to attract Elizabeth and Timothy's attention]
Armando quickly deleted the messages and went to tell Kimball he needed to go to Lumaria to meet clients earlier.
After Kimball agreed, Armando went straight home to pack important items and prepare for going abroad.
Armando kept his important documents at his mom Beatrix's place, not at the Potts family home, so he went directly to his own house.
When Beatrix saw Armando suddenly come home, she thought it was about Brynn. "The man Brynn cheated with lives right across from us."
Armando's movement toward his room suddenly stopped. "He lives across the street?"
Was it a coincidence?
"Yes, what terrible luck." Beatrix frowned angrily.
Armando continued into his room. "Mom, I'm going abroad tomorrow to meet clients."
Armando quickly packed his luggage.
Mindy, who was holed up in her room, heard Armando's voice. She walked out of her room with a crutch, looking grim.
The walls of Mindy's room were covered with photos of Elizabeth and Timothy, with vicious curses written all over them.
Armando came out of his room pulling his suitcase. He glanced at Mindy and frowned. "One leg is disabled, but you still have another leg. Don't stay in your room all day."
"It's all your fault. If you hadn't married that bitch Elizabeth, our family wouldn't be so unlucky!" Mindy accused him coldly, full of hatred.
Armando's eyes turned cold. "You got tricked by Emma and ran to Border Ridge City to cause trouble, that's how your leg got broken. What does that have to do with me!"
Hearing this, Mindy angrily grabbed a cup from the table and smashed it on the floor.
She walked back to her room and slammed the door hard.
Beatrix looked at the shattered glass on the floor and immediately screamed, "Mindy! Get out here and clean this up!"
Armando didn't want to listen to the family fighting anymore. He opened the front door and walked out.
He actually had regrets.
If he had cherished Elizabeth from the very beginning back then, maybe none of what happened later would have happened.
Maybe they would have had a child by now.
Her eyes would be full of him.
She would have taken care of him carefully when he came home drunk from business dinners.
