Chapter 122 Incident Occurs
Sherry's car stopped outside the gate of Emerald Park.
She sat inside the car.
With eyes full of resentment, she stared at the brightly lit Emerald Park.
So that's how it is.
He actually moved into Emerald Park.
At this moment, Sherry had to admit that all her schemes had failed in the end.
She refused to accept it.
Why did things turn out this way.
Sherry opened the car door, got out, and walked toward the gate.
"Open the door."
The security guard Rhys recognized Sherry.
Sherry shouted angrily, "I said open the door! Didn't you hear me?"
Rhys could tell from Sherry's attitude that she was up to no good.
He quickly called Terry.
The person in charge of managing Emerald Park was still Terry, who had been the butler when Bronte was alive.
"Terry, Mrs. Johnson is here looking for Mr. Johnson, she's at the gate right now."
Rhys sighed inwardly at his bad luck working the night shift and running into this situation.
Didn't the internet say Sherry and Armando were childhood sweethearts who got married?
They didn't look very loving to him.
Terry sighed quietly to himself - what Bronte had worried about had happened.
Armando only saw his heart clearly after losing her.
Armando trusted his instincts too much.
Terry told Rhys to wait. Rhys was still a young guy and didn't have Terry's calm mindset.
Terry worried that if Sherry and Armando fought and then made up later, he'd probably be the one fired by Sherry.
Armando paid very well.
Terry had no idea that the stone-faced Rhys had such active thoughts. He went upstairs to the study and knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Terry walked in, "Mr. Johnson, Ms. Scott is here."
Terry didn't refer to Sherry as Armando's wife.
Armando stopped his work and looked up at Terry, "Tell her to go back."
Terry acknowledged and left the study. He went downstairs, picked up the phone and told Rhys, "Please ask Ms. Scott to leave."
Rhys hung up the phone and relayed Armando's message to Sherry outside the gate through the intercom.
Sherry's eyes were red, her hair was messy, she was wearing pajamas underneath, looking quite disheveled. She sneered, "You think you can get rid of me with just one 'no'?"
She turned around, got into the driver's seat, and started the car.
Rhys thought Sherry was leaving, but to his surprise, she drove straight toward the gate.
"Oh my god!"
Rhys quickly pressed the gate control button to open it, and at the same time, he called the villa's landline.
Sherry's car braked to a stop near the gate.
The harsh sound of brakes echoed in the night.
With a cold expression, she waited for the gate to open, then drove in.
Rhys stuck his head out to watch the tail of the car rushing in, and said to Terry on the other end of the phone, "Mrs. Johnson was going to ram the gate with her car. I opened it, and she drove in."
Terry had already heard the sound of brakes from the entrance. He hung up the phone and walked to the door just as Sherry walked in.
She looked around at the living room furnishings - they were exactly the same as when Elizabeth was there.
"Ms. Scott, it's late. You should go back," Terry said gently.
Sherry ignored him and rushed upstairs.
She didn't know which room Armando was in, so starting from the second floor, she opened the doors one by one.
Terry followed behind her. He thought about calling someone to escort her out, but decided against it.
Finally, Sherry opened the study door and saw Armando.
Terry stood outside the study door waiting.
"Great! Do you think Elizabeth will come back to live here with you? She won't! Someone with her personality would never come back!"
Sherry shouted hysterically with red eyes. Her words were meant to hurt Armando.
Armando said calmly, "We've already said everything we needed to say. Look at yourself now."
Thinking that Sherry was Sloane's mother, he held back from saying anything too harsh.
Sherry let out a cold laugh and said sarcastically, "What do I look like now? I'm about to become everyone's laughingstock. What appearance am I supposed to maintain?"
Once everyone knew she and Armando had fallen out, what else would they do but laugh at her?
Armando didn't want to keep arguing with her. He turned toward the door, "Terry, have someone take her back."
Just then, a call from Imperial Garden interrupted the two people at odds.
"Mr. Johnson, Ms. Johnson fell out of bed. We're taking her to the hospital now."
Axel looked at the back seat, where the nanny Verity was holding the crying Sloane, trying to comfort her.
He continued, "Mrs. Johnson said she wanted to stay with Ms. Johnson tonight, so she had the nanny bring Ms. Johnson into the bedroom."
If it weren't for Sloane's loud crying, it probably would have taken much longer for anyone to notice.
Armando glanced coldly at Sherry. Listening to the phone, he walked past Sherry with no expression, "Terry, get the car ready."
Sherry still didn't know who had just called. She grabbed Armando's sleeve.
Armando raised his hand and slapped Sherry across the face.
He generally wouldn't hit a woman directly, but this time he couldn't hold back.
Sherry's face turned to the side from the slap. She covered her face in disbelief.
"Sherry, Sloane fell out of bed. I'll settle this with you later."
Armando looked at Sherry coldly and strode out of the study, "Get someone to kick her out of Emerald Park right now. Don't let her in again."
Sherry stood in the study in a daze, covering her face.
Terry walked into the study, "Ms. Scott, let's go."
Elizabeth received a message from Verity first thing in the morning.
The message basically said that Sloane had fractured a bone and was hospitalized, and that Sherry and Armando were splitting up.
Elizabeth stared at her phone while brushing her teeth.
Last time Sherry and Armando had issues with their lifestyle compatibility, but this time they were actually splitting up?
The perfect couple was actually breaking up!
Elizabeth found it laughable.
She put down her toothbrush and wiped away her tears of joy.
Elizabeth murmured, "Quinton, don't you think they're getting what they deserve?"
A phone call came in at that moment.
Elizabeth answered the phone.
"Ms. Penrose, Miss Greer is in trouble."
Elizabeth's eyes immediately turned fierce. Just last night she had asked Timothy to help investigate Ewan's car accident.
And she had also sent bodyguard Orion to protect Jessa.
"Where are you now? I'll come right away."
