Chapter 120 The Egg Yolk is Cooked
After Timothy hung up on Robert's apologetic call, he walked into the kitchen.
He stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Robert just called to apologize."
Timothy glanced at the egg in the small pot and raised his eyebrows. "Elizabeth, didn't you just eat your fill?"
They had just finished their meal.
His large hand slipped under her clothes and touched her stomach. "Still hungry?"
His palm felt warm against her belly.
"Not hungry," Elizabeth coughed lightly, feeling a bit silly.
But she continued anyway, "Timothy, this water was cold at first, now it's warm, and soon it'll be hot, and then the egg yolk will be cooked."
Elizabeth felt a bit embarrassed after saying it.
Timothy listened to what seemed like a philosophical statement, completely confused. But he was quick to respond with praise. "Elizabeth, you're amazing, such a smart girl."
Elizabeth fell silent.
Her toes wanted to curl up from embarrassment.
She lowered her head. "I wasn't asking you to praise me. I was trying to tell you that the egg yolk is cooked now, the boiled egg is ready."
Timothy looked completely puzzled. His IQ was pretty high, but right now he couldn't quite understand what Elizabeth meant.
Elizabeth touched her face. It felt hot.
She was too embarrassed to continue. Never mind.
She had originally wanted to use the analogy of boiling a frog in warm water, using the boiled egg as a way to confess her feelings to him.
Elizabeth decided not to confess anymore. Instead, she accused him, "Mr. Robinson, it seems like you've never actually confessed to me?"
Timothy, hearing this, looked at the egg in the pot, then at the oddly behaving Elizabeth, and suddenly understood.
"Is Elizabeth trying to tell me that your heart has already been cooked by me?"
Elizabeth instantly fell silent.
Sorry, but Timothy couldn't help it. He hugged Elizabeth and burst out laughing.
He found that whenever he was with Elizabeth, every day was full of fun.
Timothy leaned down and nibbled on Elizabeth's ear, saying in a low voice, "Elizabeth, this water was cold at first, now it's warm, and soon it'll be hot, and then the egg yolk will be cooked. Timothy's heart has long been warmed up by Elizabeth."
"From liking to loving."
Timothy's deep and sexy voice exploded in her mind.
Elizabeth's ears burned hot.
She turned around and stood on her tiptoes.
Clothes scattered from the kitchen, and they began making love, all the way to the living room, then to the bedroom.
The room was a complete mess.
At the recording site of "Onward Bound!"
The moment Sherry saw Jessa appear, her expression changed.
Recently, no matter what show she attended, she would see Jessa!
"That's strange. I specifically asked, and the production team said they didn't invite Jessa," Della whispered. "She shouldn't be here for this show, right?"
"The spots for this show are fixed. Quin Agency shouldn't have that much pull to squeeze someone in," Sherry adjusted the ugly uniform outfit provided by the production team and calmed down. "I'll go do my makeup first."
The production team had hired professional makeup artists.
Sherry usually used her own privately hired makeup artist, but today her makeup artist was sick and couldn't come.
There weren't many VIP makeup rooms, and Sherry, backed by the Johnson family, naturally got one.
Della walked out of the makeup room and went to the shared makeup area to find a makeup artist. "Excuse me, which makeup artist is available right now?"
As soon as she finished speaking, she saw Jessa getting her makeup done.
Jessa's makeup look was very distinctive and quite handsome.
Sometimes when women look handsome, they really can be more handsome than some men.
Della had a vague sense of foreboding.
She smiled and asked, "Miss Greer, are you here for the show today too?"
Jessa's eyes looked at Della through the mirror, smiling. "Yes, I'm a special guest for this episode."
