Disaster Strikes Again.
37.
Lucien's movements stalled as soon as he approached carefully to the crime scene where everyone had sworn that somebody had snuff in but nobody could point out the person who had done that.
This went on to show that somebody was doing something behind the scenes and they believed that they were never going to get caught.
Secondly, he had also believed that nobody had the right to sneak into his pack after installing all the security measures he knew how to but that seemed to be a waste of time because somebody had been doing something behind his back and was expecting that he would never find them.
The only difference between him and the rest of the people was that he was ready to deal with whoever came in contact with him and made sure that they regretted their actions.
"Look, I believe that there are too many reasons for you not to deal with your consequences. Step forward." His command ranked throughout the air and everyone shivered under the weight of his scrutiny.
He had this to go on for so long that most people had suddenly forgotten who he fundamentally was.
He wasn't one of those people who tolerated people getting away with their crimes unless he was in support of them and that didn't come easy every time.
"I hear that most people have seen wolves even in their dreams. If you have anything related to that can you step forward?" He brushed off the obvious fact that something was going on wrongly in his space and people were expecting answers from him but we're not getting anything in return.
He didn't think that it was nice for people to start worrying their heads over things that didn't matter but most importantly he had also learned how to deal with subjects and ensure that they didn't have a better way at upping him at his game.
Thirdly he had been waiting for this perfect opportunity to finally strike where the iron was really hot and make sure that they regretted ever setting foot on his land.
"You have to tell yourself the truth or else I would do it for you and trust me that is not a great idea because then you would be missing out on a lot and guess who is not going to invest in making sure that you find the right mode of expression?" He called.
"Me. So tell me what I need to know. Who the hell has been behind this and how long has it been going on for. You would not expect me never to find out would you?" He called out as though he didn't mean any of the things that he said but people wouldn't know him any longer and understood that he was only setting a huge trap for anybody who made that mistake and by the time he found them guilty he would be having a field day by making them beg for mercy.
The entire air went stiff, people looking right left and center for his inability to clock in on the fact that something was wrong somewhere and that they needed help urgently.
Someone raised their hands in the distance. "Sir we believe that you have our best interests at heart but judging from the case, we do not think that we are protected enough and we need answers as to why it's even going on in the first place!"
Lucien gazed after people he had once fiercely defended stylishly calling him out on the fact that they believed he was not caring enough or that something was wrong somewhere and he wasn't making them feel safe anymore.
"If that's your best shot then I don't think you are ready for this conversation but for peace sake, you already know who is in charge of this and how long it takes for us to arrive at such destination but I would not indulge you in having this conversation because then you and I would end up being the same." He shot them down instantly.
He wasn't going to give room for opposition to grow not under his watch.
"We cannot keep on following you blindly when there is a breakdown yet you have refused to admit to the entire world that you do not have control over everything as you would have loved to!" Somebody yelled.
Lucien had fought off various men but none of the days of his preparation had ever given room to think that he was going to be facing opposition anytime soon and even if it came he reckoned that he would be on top of the situation but that was far from the truth especially now.
"You dare question my authority around this place and wonder what I have been doing rather than sitting and telling me what the hell I need to know?" He demanded in a low voice that spelt trouble.
"Take everyone here to the dungeon until they can tell me what they have found behind my back but until then I would not be having this conversation with you and that's all I have to say concerning this matter." He dismissed them but people refused to move.
"We admit that you are the master and nobody comes close to challenging your authority but that doesn't mean that we are stupid and do not deserve sufficient explanation! I know what you have done and it is unbearable for me to watch! We have been waiting for answers but you have refused to give us because you believe that we are not up to standard and do not fit your criteria but that wouldn't work anymore on us!"
More people kept yelling and soon the entire city was plunged into a back and forth with him thinking about how he ever got into this mess in the first place.
All he needed to do was to regain sanity and make sure that nobody went away without having a slice of what it meant to challenge his authority and by the time he was done with them they would regret ever coming in contact with him or doing something stupid.
"If you want an explanation then I'm ready to give you one." He shut them up.
