Pickle POV

"He was kidnapped by his father on visitation his mom lives in Colorado. He'll have to give you more information please get him home. His name's Jackson. Charlotte is really Katie Brum she was taken two weeks ago from Rivers old neighborhood as some kind of joke between Jensen and Randy."

"That's why she looks so familiar her face is all over the news." Nate says.

"We tried to keep her safe. I tried to protect her." River says crying as she runs to her.

"I'm so sorry Char...Katie! I'm so sorry!"

"You kept me safe River. Thank you. Can you take me to my mom and dad now please?" She says crying looking at Nate. River nods and kisses her head. He starts carrying her out. We can hear tons of sirens from the police and ambulances arriving and alarms through the community start going off.

"We need to move fast before they complete lock down!" River says.

"Grab any kids or women you can! Move quickly. It's set to lock down. Everyone will be trapped! They will kill us there's too many!" Sheldon says trying to stand. River runs and grabs some shorts for Sheldon and the boy and a long shirt and shorts for the girl.

Me and Kenny lift Sheldon one of us on each end. River takes Jackson's hand.

"Did my wives make it out? Are they safe now?" River kisses his head and nods.

"Thank you Husband Jackson. The new ones are my daughter and my niece."

"I would have been a nice husband even if my dad would've beat me for it." He says.

"Thank you for saying that." I say nodding to him.

"As soon as I got bigger I was going to challenge him as master." He says he stops and looks down at Jenson and spits on his face before walking away.

We hurry up the hallways following Jackson and River. A hand full of women and a dozen children come running past us. River stops a woman maybe 25 or 30.

"Gladys, it's time! Spread the word. Mayis, you and the children follow us. June your the fastest runner try to find anyone who isn't already in temple. Candy shop as planned." They nod.

The men put the kids and the wives between them as we move again. We're getting spread too thin I don't have enough men. As we get closer to the front we probably have about 35 to 40 kids and at least a dozen wives.

"Mr. Nunzio is sending a dozen busses to us." One of the Nunzio men Ralf says. I nod. I lean Sheldon against the wall as I take lead and start making sure we have a way through this mess.

"Brain.. see if you can get me a clear way, also let the locals know that we're in here and we're getting who we can I don't want anybody getting shot." I say. River looks at me and smiles. I smile back at her.

"Make sure the locals leave plenty of people at the front gate but let them know where we're going to be! I want everybody taken out of here and taken immediately to the hospital. I don't want to risk their safety." Sheldon says.

I nod making sure Brain heard him.

I run across covered by a smaller building. I wave and they start sending children through to me. Once the second man comes across I move to the next spot trying to follow Brains directions.

We got everyone to where we were before.

River puts her hand up and everyone goes quiet "Wives make sure to cover small eyes. Children just like we practiced hold the shirt or buckle of the one in front of you. Hold tight keep your eyes closed if you can if not keep them to the ground."

I just can't help but stare at River. She's amazing! She made plans on escaping not just for her and Sheldon but every woman and child she could get too. She would have made a great leader for these people, she was right.

I finally sigh a breath of relief as the first bus leaves taking the first families to the hospital.

River had them write their names and how many people in their group before going to the hospital so that way we can help keep track just in case families get separated.

I walk over to her with a sandwich from her favorite Deli and some water. Of course Lucas has hired many vendors to come feed people. It's a little much but I wouldn't expect anything less he has also purchased six houses around the area most of them on the same block to help have a place for the families to stay together until everything is worked out. A lot of the mothers are still minors so we're going to be pretty busy trying to find foster placements that can keep the mothers with their children.

River smiles at me then looks around "Don't worry I took him food first." I say. She looks at me for a minute then her eyes fill with tears.

She runs and throws her arms around my neck. I pull her tight and hold her. She cries in my neck.

"I was scared it was a dream." She says sobbing.

"Daddy." Annie says looking at us.

"Come here baby." I say smiling at her.

She shakes her head looking at River "No thank you daddy. Can we go home now please. I want to go home where it's safe." She says. I put River down and take her hand. I pick up Annie and kiss her.

"Daddy please not her, just us and daddy." Annie cries.

I look at her she wiggles down and takes my hand.

"I will go to the hospital now. Thank you for the sandwich. Annie I'm really sorry.. bunny."

"Bad people don't get to call me BUNNY!" She yells then pulls my hand to her. River tries not to cry. She nods and bows to her and walks over and gets on a bus.

River POV

Hot tears pour down my face as I sit on the bus.

My daughter hates me! I can barely look at let alone touch Pickle. I'm away from Sheldon for the first time in months and I'm terrified. I don't know if anyone can be trusted and last time I heard no one has been able to track down Randy, he was on a business trip.

What if he finds me? What if he takes me alone this time? My hearts beating really hard and I can't breath. I grab my chest, I gently hit it trying to get air. I'm panicked, I can't breathe.

"River" A far voice says as hand touches me. I don't move. I can't breathe. I'm getting dizzy.

"River Fuck!" I can see Carter but I can't hear him. I flinch when he raises his hand to look at my eyes.

"It's a panic attack." He hands me a bag to breathe into. He sits next to me.
