"Come on out!" Abbott's voice says.

I come from around the corner and see him with a gun pressed against my daughter's head.

I lift my hands in the air.

"Daddy." Annie cries.

"Your okay my love. We're everywhere." I say to her in Italian. She nods.

"Just keep looking at me bunny and be ready to run." I tell her in Italian. She nods.

"Knock it off and give me my son for your daughter!" August Abbott says.

"He's coming. Take me and let her go, when he gets here we can talk!" I say calm as I keep walking towards them. I see another man working his way up from the left. I signal for Stefano to hold his fire and everyone else to hold their positions.

"And why would I want you?" He says in that cocky tone he has.

"I would make a better hostage than a tiny girl don't you think?" I say as I keep walking towards him.

"That's close enough Luca!" He says. I clench my jaw at the way he uses my name.

I hear a gun click at the side of my head and I stop. The guy gets a cocky smile like he actually snuck on me, like I didn't know he was there the entire time.

Three more men slowly start to join Abbott now coming in behind him.

I smile as I watch my beautiful River quietly take each man out one at a time. She quietly snaps each man's neck before she moves on to the next. She's beautiful! She falls to her knees exhausted and I almost lose it for a split second before I see Kenny wrap his arms around her and drag her away.

"As you can see Mr.Smith-Spencer we have you outnumbered and I don't see anyone else who's here to help you. So it looks like you're at a disadvantage! Now I'll release my daughter to you once I have my son!"

"I'm not your daughter!" Annie yells kicking her leg back into his shin. He quickly grabs her hair and slaps her.

"Mother fucker!" I scream as I quickly disarm the guy with the gun to my head and give a quick hand signal for my guys to get ready.

"Are you okay?" I ask her in Italian as I watch the tears run down her face. She nods.

He cocks his gun and sticks it back to her head.

"I'm here. Now let my daughter go!" Lucky says coming up next to me with his hands raised.

"What the fuck! No, get out of here!"

"I'm fine brother just get our daughter out of here!"

"Your not going with him Lucky!"

"What's the worse thing to happen? I stoke out and die!" He laughs.

"That's not funny!" I say not trying to freak our daughter out.

"He's dying! He's dying!" We both turn to River's voice behind us.

"Enchantress." Lucky gasps. I smile at her.

"Shut your mouth whore!"

"If he doesn't have somebody with Abbott blood over 18 to take over than the Abbott lineage ends and all the breeding he's done for all these years mean nothing and his wifes and their children will be sold off." She yells.

"Shut your mouth bitch!" He yells squeezing Annie's face.

"I will just keep her here! Then one of you will cave!"

"I told you I would take your place!" She screams.

"Your not Abbott blood and you lied! You and Julian were never married!" He yells.

"That bastard in your belly isn't even my son's blood!" He says laughing.

"Fuck you!" She yells. We both turn and look at her. I missed it before. I can barely see the tiny little outline of her belly pushing against her shirt. I can't breath. This is overwhelming!

"So you think I'm just going to come back and join your baby raping club, oh I'm sorry church? I don't give a fuck about the Abbott name nor do I care if you lose everything you worked for!" Lucky yells.

"Show some respect boy! It's not rape it's a father's right!" He yells "You can't just turn your back on our legacy!"

Lucky laughs hard walking closer to him "Let my daughter go and we'll talk!"

"I'm not dumb boy." He starts running his fingers up and down Annie's arm "Maybe I'll use my rights to welcome my precious daughter back."

"I'll fucking kill you!" Me, Lucky, River and Lucas all yell.

"You know all too well how much I enjoy my children." He says leaning down and smelling Annie.

"Flip when I say." I say to Annie in Italian. She nods.

"English!" August yells.

"I'm okay daddy." Annie says quickly.

"Fine!" Lucky says putting his hands to his head.

"Lucky's sick, we'll get married right now and I'll lead, blood with the birth of a child has never been a thing in this community before, it shouldn't matter now, everything will be legit and you'll get what you want and my family will go free! I'm already trained. I know what's expected! He's been away too long but I've been here for months." River says.

"Mommy." Annie cries "You live here with the bad guys?"

My heart shatters, the look of betrayal on our daughters face is almost enough to drop me to my knees.

"Annie, it's complicated baby." River says pushing between us getting closer to them.

I try to grab her but she pulls away from me.

"I'm fine. She's lying to protect me! I'll stay, send my daughter over." Lucky says.

"You lied." Annie say heartbroken "You said mommy was still sick and was getting better so she can come home but she just didn't want me." Annie sobs.

"Baby your all I've ever wanted." River says crying.

Abbott leans down and whispers something to her and she cries harder.

"Don't listen to anything he says baby!" I yell.

"I only tell the truth to my people Luca. Now Julian come forward. Of course for your desertion we will need a full week together so we can get better acquainted. I will enjoy my right to explore this body you've grown into."

He leans down and licks up Annie's neck to her cheek.

"Annie now!" I shout. She looks at me and grabs August and flips him.

"Run Annie!" River yells running to her. Abbott aims his gun towards her "Drop!" Lucky yells as he fires and hits August Abbott right between his eyes just as he stands to take his shot.

I run over and grab her from the ground squeezing her hard against my body as I cry.

"Daddy don't cry, I'm okay." She says hugging me so tight.

Lucky grabs her from me and kisses her.

"Go to Nono baby. Uncle Carter is going to check on you and ask you questions."

"You did a great job I'm so proud of you." I say kissing her head.

River walks up "Annie baby you did so great." River tries to touch her and she pulls away.

"I don't want to talk to you." She says, then she runs into Lucas arms.
