Chapter 50 Little Livy
I lean down and take her lips in mine. I devour her mouth in a slow, sweet assault, dominating her in a battle of wills. I can feel her entire body vibrating as I dip my tongue into her warm mouth. She tastes like mint and something sweet. I want to memorize this taste.
I moan into her mouth as she pushes up into me and I pull her closer to my chest. I marvel at how well we fit together. Even her small stature is just right for mine. I want to explore how well we'd fit in other ways as well. I can show her exactly how we fit like a puzzle.
I tease her tongue with mine as I slide my hand into her hair, holding her up to me. She smells so damn good. Like floral shampoo and something sweet. I want to devour her entire body right here.
I'm taking it that she hasn't pushed me away and told me to go to hell as a good sign.
"Josie, I miss you," I whisper against her soft lips. "I've tried to give you space and stay away from you, little dancer, but I can't do it any more! Please. Baby, I can take you out of here right now. Your sisters too. I can bring you home and marry you, just say yes," I demand.
"Rick, I can't... James he-" she mumbles, but I distract her by running my hand up her spine, sending shivers running through her body.
"He's lying to you, baby. I hate what he's doing to you and you are letting him. You deserve so much more than him," I growl, kissing along her neck.
I can feel her shivering under my touch, and it's turning me on. I want to drag her up to her bedroom and show with my body how much she means to me.
"Rick, please," she breathes and I'm about to take her hard and fast up against the damn wall. I need her so damn much right now, and I know I can get her to see reason if she will just let me...
"Baby, just tell me you want me. I know you can feel it. This connection between us. I know you can feel how badly I need you right now. How badly I've missed you. We belong together, little dancer. Please give me that chance to prove it to you," I groan against her neck.
"I can't!" she gasps as I suck on the crook of her neck.
"Yes you can! I promise you won't regret it, baby," I demand. "We could be happy. I could make you feel so good. You wouldn't be stuck her under Beth's oppression."
"What about James?" she moans.
"James can go to hell. He doesn't deserve you and he sure as hell never deserved that second chance he's throwing away," I snarl.
Josie pulls back, looking at me in the eye. "What do you mean?"
I would absolutely love to show her right now, but just like Josie, I was an idiot and gave him one more chance. I don't like liars and I'll be damned if I don't keep my promise just to prove to him who the better man is. But just one more mistake and he's a dead man walking. It won't be long now, I'm sure.
"I can't tell you right now, baby. I just have a bad feeling about the guy," I sigh in resignation.
I can see the tears in her eyes as she slowly shakes her head. "I can't, Rick. I promised him," she swallows.
"I'll go after Liv, Josie. You know she'll go for me," I hate playing dirty, but if it works it will be worth it. But how else am I supposed to convince her? I know she always hated it when I flirted with her little sister. I'll do it again just to prove my point!
"Liv's only 16! You are 25! Why the hell would you go after a kid?" She demands, looking absolutely appalled
"Well, if you don't want me..." I shrug. "I know she will."
"Rick... You can't do this!" she hisses. I hate the tears glistening in her eyes, but I need her to say yes!
"Baby, I'm a son of a rock legend. I just crook my finger and I could have any girl I want! And I really want you, but if you are unavailable..." I leave it like that. "I can smile at Olivia and she'll be all over me!"
A sudden screech from behind has me turning my head and there is the little dark haired girl I remember... Almost all grown up.
"Little Livy," I smile at her.
"RICKY! I MISSED YOU!" She screams like she's at one of my Dad's concerts. It's good to know someone recognized me on sight.
If Josie is gonna play hard to get, I'm gonna show her exactly what I'm talking about.
