Chapter 58 Chapter 58

Chapter 58 Chapter 58
“Do you like this place, Miss Jade?” Roan asked. I glanced at her; it seemed she had been observing my reaction for a while.
“Y-yes, of course. I just can’t believe a place like this exists. Is all of this Hendeix’s?”
“Yes, Miss Jade, this belongs to Mr. Lavarre. I can give you a tour so you can quickly familiarize yourself with the Sky Villa since this is where you will live.”
“Huh? What do you mean? Wait, does Hendeix live here too?”
“No, Miss Jade. This is just a villa. It’s far from the main company building, so he only comes here occasionally.”

“So you mean we won’t always see each other? If that’s the case, why did he even bring me here? Doesn’t he have another house? I mean, the unit! The one where he brought me before.”
“Oh, that one. It’s just his temporary place whenever he has meetings around that city.”
I was left astounded. What does she mean by “temporary place”? That one was already extravagant! So that wasn’t even his actual home? How many houses does he have? This is confusing! Meanwhile, I spend more time living in my car than in my own house. Wait, I suddenly missed my bed. I wanted to rest first because our earlier flight was long. I even went straight to the hospital.
“Or would you like to rest first, Miss Jade? I’ll prepare you a warm bath.”

I simply nodded, though I felt awkward. I sat on the couch and looked around. This place was enormous compared to where I used to stay. Is this really where I’ll be living now?
Not even once did I imagine that I’d step into a place like this. When I chose to live on my own, I had already pictured myself living in the mountains. Is that why Hendeix brought me here?
He’s really something. He always manages to impress me. I thought he never listened to those random things I say about myself. I thought they meant nothing—but he was really listening.
If we truly loved each other, would I appreciate all of this more?
Why is it that now that I’m finally being treated right, I still have doubts? Why does my fear grow even bigger compared to before, when I was constantly hurt and disappointed?
Hendeix and I started with nothing… we got married just like that. Simply because I needed him for a useless reason. And he married me for reasons I’m not even sure he was serious about. Yet he treats me better than couples who genuinely love each other.
My body slowly sank into the couch, and I didn’t realize that I had already fallen asleep.
“Where’s my wife?”
“She’s on the couch, Mr. Lavarre. I couldn’t lift her. I didn’t want to wake her up. She seems so tired. She’s snoring.”
“I see. You can rest now. I’ll take care of this.”
The sound of footsteps stirred me awake. I slowly opened my eyes and felt a warm hand stroking my shoulder.
“Mori? Are you awake? Let’s go to our room.”
I sat up and saw Hendeix in front of me, one knee on the carpet. I immediately smiled. “I haven’t showered yet.”
“Do you wanna shower together?”
I nodded and wrapped my arms around his neck. He quickly lifted me up. My legs wrapped around his waist, and I didn’t care whether I was heavy or not. I knew this man would never drop me.
“Did you just arrive?” I whispered.
“Yeah, just came from work. How was your day, hmm?” He set me down by the faucet when we reached the shower room. I let him remove my clothes.
“Well… uhmm… very unexpected. A lot of things had already happened when we got back, but everything was handled well. How about you? Are you tired?”
“A bit, but a round wouldn’t hurt, right?”
I laughed and slapped his chest. “Are we going to do it every day? I might get sick.”
“I won’t let you get sick, my wife.” He gently kissed my cheek as he completely removed my dress. He also sucked on my neck and groped my breast. I let out a soft moan.
“Ahhh… don’t bite my nipple too hard, huz,” I begged as my hands roamed over his well-built back. Damn, he’s solid as a rock.
“What do you want me to do then? Your nipple is asking for it. Don’t you think so? Look.”
He pulled away and grabbed my breast, including the tip. He squeezed and licked it, making me lean against the glass. He lifted both my legs and lowered his head to savor what was between my thighs. I immediately jerked and grabbed his hair.
“Hendeix! Ahhh! That is so sudden!”
“But your body is moving along with my tongue. Look…” When he licked my core, the lower part of my body instinctively swayed with the motion. He laughed when he saw it, while I looked away in embarrassment.
“See? You want it. Don’t complain too much. I know your body more than you know yourself.”
He held both of my hands tightly, then tasted my womanhood again. I couldn’t compose myself, feeling like a criminal ready to surrender. He kept my hands firmly in his grip while punishing me in a way I truly couldn’t endure. I closed my eyes and couldn’t stop myself from crying. He suddenly stopped and looked up at me.
“Why are you crying?” he asked worriedly.
I shook my head. “It’s too good. It overwhelms me… Ahh… Hendeix! Ahhh! Stop it! Ahhhh!”
“You want me to stop this? I doubt it,” he chuckled as he played with his tongue while looking at me. He showed me his sinister smile as he inserted two digits.
